My new hair stylist seemed rushed, and she not very gentle. I had shown her some pictures of what I wanted and don't feel like they were executed. If I had know that if they could not have given the quality of service that I am used to that I would have rescheduled at a later date with my original hair stylist. I don't feel like that experience was worth the $300 price tag. I visited the salon many times before and all of my other experiences were 10 out of 10. This was the one outlier. I will be back in the future and generally do really like this salon. My stylist was very kind however, she was splitting time between myself and another client, it seemed, and was not as attentive as I'm used to at this salon. She seemed like she rushed through coloring my hair, and the results were not what I had wanted. I did not feel like she executed on the picture that I showed her. If they were not capable of doing what I wanted, I do wish they would have told me to rebook. The look that I ended up with was significantly more subtle than the picture that I had shown, and I can barely see the color. I don't know if I had miscommunicated what I wanted but I do think the pictures that I showed should have been clear. I tried to trust the process, and my hair stylist, but do think she took liberties about that I wanted without clarification. Asking shouldn't be an assumption that I wanted to buy. So using their product suggestions and instructions on how to maintain her hair, didn't work out as well as I thought.

So as of yesterday, it had gotten really long, and was just looking really blah. No style whatsoever. Just long and in desperate need of a cut. I saw some nice reviews on here, so I went to Glam. It's very close to where I work so its convenient too. Ricci did my hair. She's very sweet, funny, and great at her job. I just wanted something fresh and simple. She took 4 inches or so off of it, didn't give me any weird layers that could be mistaken for a mullet, and I left with really pretty shoulder-length hair. I am so glad to have found my new salon. No more looking! If I had anything critical to say, it would be that I would have loved a longer, more luxurious wash. That's kind of the best part of getting your hurr did, having someone else wash your hair and give you a scalp massage. And it was considerably more expensive to have my hair washed and dried than it would have been just for the cut. Which is fine - if you give a spa-like wash. But just a quick wash and rinse shouldn't have cost that much extra. That's the only reason this is 4 instead of 5 stars. I was so happy with the cut that that was just sort of an afterthought.
