I usually just get a trim but wanted something different. Trang (owner) suggested a long bob for the summer. My hair did feel lighter and had more bounce. She was meticulous since after blow drying my hair, she would make some adjustments here and there so that my hair be just right. I couldn't tell but she is the expert. Now, I am not particularly into hair and all so I trust her to make me look the best according to the shape of my face. All I ask is for a low maintenance style since I hardly use any hair products or do anything.. just wash and go. She made sure that the cut would be easy to maintain and still stylish. If you want a salon that is personable with reasonable prices, then give this place a try. Why go to fancy places with all the add ons if you can get the same here! read more

This establishment definitely has talent. They can do a great job. However, they are also very petty. Once you go to a hairdresser consistently, they expect you to remain loyal to them without any questions asked. Also, I feel that they lack something in regards to style. Precision is there as well as ability but style seems to be ten years behind. read more

I've been putting up with Cindy for the past 5 years because Trang, the owner, is so nice. Cindy constantly overbooked me and took her Vietnamese friends over my schedule. She also acted like listening to my instructions but cut the hair however she wanted without telling me until it's done. EX: I said to leave my bang length to a little bit below my brows. She cut it 1/4 of an inch above the brows. I said to undercut the back of my hair with #2 cutter and angle bob cut the sides to shoulder-length. She tapered the back and chopped 2 inches off the sides, claiming that it's too difficult to cut. (I have 2 coworkers with the exact hair style I described. I'll go to their stylists from now on!) I switched to Hair Deaux back in 2004. I was a regular at a far better known elite competitor's.....Shelton's. My brother had been terminally ill, and I had been caring for him for 2 months and unable to drive from out of town to get my regular touch ups done. When he passed, I came home to get things ready to go back for the funeral. And I needed a touch up to cover the gray so badly. But I didn't have an appointment, and my own operator who had always been tipped very well, didn't even seem to TRY to work me in. I drove past Hair Deaux's and got out and tried to enter just as Trang, the owner was locking up for the evening. She turned around and unlocked the door, turned on the lights, made a call to her family to let them know she'd be a little late, and started on me right then and there! She's not only sweet and compassionate, the girl is good at her stuff. Been going there ever since, and even have hubby going now. If you can't get in with Trang, use Nancy. She's good too! There are others there, but these two rock! Prices are great! $14.95 for a cut! I've paid much higher and didn't get better! They are right on Main Street in Euless in a little shopping center. Much more convenient to where I live too! So, I won all the way around when I switched salons and stylists that day. read more

They do not open at scheduled times! I have driven there several times in recent months where they are still closed in the morning, but according to the sign/website, they should be open. Most recently, I went to get a haircut at 11AM, and this place was still closed even though they are supposed to open at 10. read more

I have been going to Trang, the owner, for almost 25 years and NOBODY knows and does a better job on my hair than better than her. I have coarse, kinky curly, Puerto Rican hair and she knows my hair better than any "curly hair expert" I've ever gone to for a haircut , even at $150 Deva Cut! And color??? She works magic on my hair with her color techniques. I get stopped all the time and asked who does my hair and all credit goes to Trang. My highlights are gorgeous every time. Never has she ever over processed my hair ( I have very dark brown hair.) And her prices are very fair and reasonable. She listens and does what I want every time, not what she thinks I want. I let someone touch my hair with color and cut only to come to Trang begging her to come to my rescue. Don't let the unassuming salon location or space deceive you, she is the best there is! My wife went here to have her hair permed for our wedding anniversary. It turned out a mess. She returned, it was done again, still a mess. A few weeks later, returned to see what could be done. Staff acted like they couldn't be bothered, even though we were willing to pay....again. Found a new place called Moulton Salon at the last minute. They did a fab job.
