I had a great experience at this location. My stylist was CJ and she was professional, friendly, ontime and knowledgeable . CJ also called me days before the appointment to confirm my service ( I missed the call) however she confirmed the day of my appointment. I had chosen the wrong service however she handled it well and with a smile. The price was reasonable. The facility was clean. All other staff was friendly as well. Most of all I loved my hair, it was silky, shaky and her suggestions helped it last longer. I will go back! read more

THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST EXPERIENCE FROM HAIR CUTTERY THAT I'VE EVER BEEN TO!! I went to this Hair Cuttery today, which I've been to before, and had my...experiences. But this time, we requested a younger stylist for me because I'm a teen who wanted an excellent haircut I finally liked and related better. We had picked Bri (SHOUTOUT TO BRI), and I went in and got the usual nice greeting. However, I was still very nervous. I wouldn't like the cut and dye, plus the styler possibly just doing my hair for the money instead of caring for me and my hair on a personal level. On the contrary, Bri was really sweet and ensured I got EXACTLY what I wanted. She also was such a good vibe to be around. Being able to speak more freely and comfortably, plus bringing in other topics and joking around, just made the whole experience a whole lot more enjoyable! Thank you, Bri, for my session there!! Charmaine rushed through the entire process when she realized she had another customer waiting. For example she sd the treatment would last five minutes and put me under the dryer. After two minutes and before the timer went off, she came and got me. Then she took me to the chair. She rushed through the cut and within 8 mins I was done. She did not redo my layers like I asked her to. She gave me a quick trim. She didn't even part my hair after the cut or brush the hair off my neck. It's ok in a pinch. Not a lot of skill level here, would only recommend for use in an emergency. They have a new touch screen system to sign in with and it is horrible. The screen does not pick up your touch very well, so it is very aggravating. read more

Kim was the "stylist " assigned to my son. All she had to do was literally buzz up to where he keeps it long. Somehow she cuts halfway into his cowlick and decided to stop, making a two inch section three different lengths and sticking out in multiple directions. She also got the long hair and somehow buzzed into that leaving uneven sections. My neighbor, who taught herself, has done his hair multiple times, blended everything and it looked great. This woman rushed and messed up...big time. My son asked I don't post a picture. I wish I would have really looked it over before paying, but I couldn't imagine that someone could mess that up. No. Go some where else. Trust me now, thank me later. My first visit, I checked in and sat for 45 minutes while the TWO stylists chit chatted, joked, and giggled with one customer while he got his hair cut. I was the only other customer there. When I finally got into the chair, I noted to myself that the previous guy's hair (and apparently several before him) was not swept up off of the floor around me. Then I saw the clippers....with hair all over them. I'm no Jacques Cousteau of salon etiquette (or the law), but every other place I've ever been to, there's been at least a slight attempt to clean up between customers. Not here. From the looks of it, not for a while. I told the girl the same thing I've told every other barber/hair stylist in the past. Pretty simple instructions. High and tight, 0 on the sides. I even throw in the "Like the State Police get" to give them a visual. What I walked out with was far from that. But it was a hair cut and I vowed I wouldn't go back. Fast forward into the future....I disappoint myself often. I needed a hair cut and fast. Every other place was busy, but this place wasn't. I knew why, but I still went in. This time I was seated right away. I told the girl "High and tight...0 on the sides with the clippers". I knew as soon as she started it was going to be a repeat of the last time. Same dirty environment (hair everywhere) and a "stylist" who can't follow instructions. I was in a rush and was getting ready to go out of town on business. The last thing I wanted to do was teach this lady how to do her job. I paid and left, cursing at myself the whole drive home. What really hit the homerun was when two other people (one being a hair stylist) asked me what was going on with my haircut. Never again. I will hold myself to this promise now. Even though this place just recently opened, which was last year November. It is a great place. Ask for Kristen because she is super nice and really listens to your needs. After having a baby, I lost and continue to lose my hair, as well as, breakage in random spots of my head. I have super straight, thick hair and the hair loss and breakage is obvious. I told Kristen my challenges and that I needed a lot of help. She understood my situation and did everything perfect. To hide the hair breakage, Kristen layered and feathered my hair. She trimmed off the split ends and thinned my hair out to prevent future hair breakage. Side note: I went to SuperCuts in Parkville about 7-8 months ago and requested the same hair cut/style as mentioned above. The execution was poor. The lady did not listen to me. She did her own thing. She kept asking me what was wrong with me since my hair was falling and breaking at random spots. She kept saying my hair was awful. After my hair was done at Supercuts, she charged me twice as much as the amount I paid for at Hair Cuttery. That being said, definitely go to Hair Cuttery. read more

I only been here one time, and that was it! I was the time I just moved to america and I need to trim my ends and needed a side bang. I waited the line for almost an hour and then the lady asked me what I want. I told them what I want, and she wet my hair and gave me a ridiculous bang and there it was done. My hair was still wet and I was totally confused. No blow dry nothing. People were staring at me and laughing as I walked out. To be honest this experience gave me a fear to walk in a salon in this country. For an year I didn't dared myself to go. But thankfully I found a better place which makes me happy and satisfied.
