KJ is an artist!…read more Been searching for the perfect place to get a haircut in Marlton and have finally found it! The attention to detail KJ had on my skin fade was extremely impressive. With over 25 years of experience, this man knows how to cut! Aside from the actual hair cut. It was a great atmosphere with a very friendly staff. Also loved they had a military discount. If you're looking for top grade fade definitely head over to Roosters and ask for KJ.

However, a bad uneven fade is just simply bad and either demonstrates a lack of skill or lack of care (haircut lasted about 30 mins). Maybe they do other peoples' hair well, but the photos are my result. Didn't even notice how bad it was until my GF took the photos after pointing it out. Pure honesty, I've gotten better fades from chain salons for half the price. Good luck, guys.

I am so happy that I was referred to Lion's Mane and decided to come…read more Josh came highly recommended and helped me turn my very damaged hair to the color I wanted, and he was very helpful, informative, polite, and professional. Everyone at the salon is very kind and professional, and the salon is very peaceful and clean, with the staff carefully following COVID-19 guidelines. I would HIGHLY recommend Josh and Lion's Mane as (by far) the best stylist/colorist and salon in the area. I will definitely return as a regular. If only all salons were like Lion's Mane, lives would be a lot easier and hair a lot more beautiful and healthier!

After twenty minutes or so, a quick rinse, he applied smoothing conditioners and I was ready for a fresh cut, blow dry and style! Wow! I highly recommend Josh, and I booked my return appointment before I left.

I went in a few weeks ago for a cut and color…read moreafter a long year of nothing done on my hair due to pregnancy and moving from Philly to the Marlton area. Susan did my cut and she's fabulous! I have curly hair (3C) and I always do my research before committing to anyone touching my hair. She put me at ease right away. Not only does she have the warmest spirit but lady knows what she's doing with curly hair! Loved it! Will be returning in 12 weeks for another trim and moisturizing mask that she recommended. My color was done by Elle. Lovely woman, we had a nice chat. So, I waited long to leave a review because I wanted to live in the color in both my natural curl state but then after straightening it. I love the color when my hair is curly. Like LOVE! She did a slight balayage with natural browns to not add bleach into my hair. It looked great curly. I then straightened it and I wasn't sure I loved it anymore. I gave it 2 more tries after straightening and I think it's growing on me. The color isn't bad at all, she nailed the color I wanted it's just, some of the color felt a little more obvious and blocky when straight then when curly and so it looked less natural with how it was laid out. Not sure that makes sense. Anywho, overall I like this salon. So glad I found it. Def recommend for a curly girl cut with Susan!

I like the welcoming vibe of the shop, everyone was friendly, coffee and doughnuts were available, if they served alcohol this place would be called Cheers! Sam was great! Wanted to know how I wanted the cut, like razor or scissors, tapered or full, etc. I acknowledged I didn't know the technical terms but kind of described what I wanted. Sam nailed it perfectly! I'll be back next month for my haircut and maybe a shave! It's not difficult to love this place instantly! I strongly recommend you get a haircut with Sam and experience this barber shop on your own!

Neil's Barbershop is my go to place when I need to trim my mohawk pretty much every other month…read more Now, I've never had a cit from Neil himself, but I've been going for the past year and always go on Saturdays when they have some other barbers in there. I've kept going with one woman who only works on Saturdays as she works for another organization during the week. She's been very fun to talk to and is great with the trimmers, giving me some great lines on my sides and neck with a straight razor neck cleanup and trims the beard up to keep it all even. She never questions what I request as "odd" just because it's out of the norm when it comes to hairstyles, but let's be honest, when you have a mohawk, there's never gonna be a "normal" cut. They have parking in the back of their building, but it can get busy quickly, so no guarantee. Metered street parking is available but would be free if you were parking on Sundays. It's also not a far walk from the library if you're looking for free parking every time you go and Main Street Moorestown is a nice little walk through so I would certainly recommend taking the walk. Cash or credit cards accepted.
