I have curly hair (3C) and I always do my research before committing to anyone touching my hair. She put me at ease right away. Not only does she have the warmest spirit but lady knows what she's doing with curly hair! Loved it! Will be returning in 12 weeks for another trim and moisturizing mask that she recommended. My color was done by Elle. Lovely woman, we had a nice chat. So, I waited long to leave a review because I wanted to live in the color in both my natural curl state but then after straightening it. I love the color when my hair is curly. Like LOVE! She did a slight balayage with natural browns to not add bleach into my hair. It looked great curly. I then straightened it and I wasn't sure I loved it anymore. I gave it 2 more tries after straightening and I think it's growing on me. The color isn't bad at all, she nailed the color I wanted it's just, some of the color felt a little more obvious and blocky when straight then when curly and so it looked less natural with how it was laid out. I like the welcoming vibe of the shop, everyone was friendly, coffee and doughnuts were available, if they served alcohol this place would be called Cheers! Sam was great! Wanted to know how I wanted the cut, like razor or scissors, tapered or full, etc. I acknowledged I didn't know the technical terms but kind of described what I wanted. Sam nailed it perfectly! I'll be back next month for my haircut and maybe a shave! It's not difficult to love this place instantly! I've kept going with one woman who only works on Saturdays as she works for another organization during the week. She's been very fun to talk to and is great with the trimmers, giving me some great lines on my sides and neck with a straight razor neck cleanup and trims the beard up to keep it all even. She never questions what I request as "odd" just because it's out of the norm when it comes to hairstyles, but let's be honest, when you have a mohawk, there's never gonna be a "normal" cut. They have parking in the back of their building, but it can get busy quickly, so no guarantee. Metered street parking is available but would be free if you were parking on Sundays. It's also not a far walk from the library if you're looking for free parking every time you go and Main Street Moorestown is a nice little walk through so I would certainly recommend taking the walk.
