I'm giving a 2 because the services were fine but talk about sticker shock!!!!! i have short hair, barely can tuck behind my ear. I saw my stylist once before and asked her to do what she did last time (cover roots, a few foils, trim and blow dry) $216!!!! I KNOW I DIDN"T PAY THAT LAST TIME! they advertise full balayage for cheaper. When I spoke to someone at the shop, I didn't get her name but assumed a manager, she stated that I got the best price- a package would have been more monies. My single color with partial foil came to $160, then they added $27 for gloss/tone/fashion color- what the heck, doesn't toner come with foils anyway, i've never paid more for toner? AND then another $29 for signature cut- so the $160 doesn't include this? I felt nickel and dimed. read more

I stopped by on a Sunday and it didn't look packed like most haircut places so I walked in and they informed me it was kind of by appointment only. and much like an Apple store was booked for the rest of the day. Made an appointment, got there early, was told that we would be taken in 15 minutes and ended up waiting another 45 before we kindly ask how much longer and was told to wait another few minutes before we just ended up leaving. Not sure who raised the workers, but please have some decency to let customers know how long you will actually be, especially those who make an appointment in advance. Its very disrespectful to be wasting other people's time like this. This is towards those who were working 7/24th in the afternoon. read more

I came in for a self care day to cheer myself up but I ended up even more upset . before being seated I was told by my hair stylist "we are just trying to figure out who's going to do your hair cause some of us are trying to leave early today" I asked for an ombré sliver & I wanted to keep the roots my natural color. Thou I understand that it will take sessions due to my natural dark virgin hair . (Use to get my hair done a lot in high school ) instead I feel like she did the bare minimum she could of what I was asking for to leave as possible. I came out with partial highlights with a color I am unsure of , blond green and I guess a dark gray . She asked if it was okay if the sliver was a bit darker cause she don't want to lift color out my hair anymore before damaging. Fair enough !! Thank you . But I would've been happy leaving with whatever blonde color ombré not highlights. I tried to keep good spirits in the chair but at the end I broke down crying very upset with the outcome . I sat and cried in my car after spending 125$ in something I didn't ask for. I would've let her style and cut it but I felt like she did enough damage I had enough of my bad day I went home and slept my day away so upset . I didn't want to do this review thou it isn't the company fault but by the looks of it not too many people are happy entering by these reviews & fellow customers waiting in the waiting area with me. My girl Jaime always hooks my hair up, when living in center city I'd get my hair cut at Crimson hair studio. ($90 hair cuts) It was getting too expensive for me to take the patco there, I had to find something close to home and affordable due to my pregnancy. I knew I wanted a drastic change with my usual bob and micro bangs; and Jaime gave a cool pixie cut that I love. For the quality and price of the cut I definitely recommend it. read more

I took my daughter in a half hour before closing last night with two massive dreadlocks that made their way into her blonde ponytail over two days. My wife tried for hours to them out and made no progress. We knew the hair had to be cut (this 4-year-old's first) and she was NOT going to like it. And she didn't, and she screamed like a banshee, but Bella and her friend got us through it. They cut the knots out and left her with a very cut bob. They couldn't have been better. Amazing. The best thing I can say about my experience is that it was fast. I was "helped" by a woman named Lillana. I initially told Lillana that I did not need a shampoo since I had just taken a shower. She proceeded to walk me back for a shampoo. Next thing she tells me oh I shouldn't;t have washed your hair because I needed to use the clippers first. Go figure. Finally she wanted to talk about religion, rather she wanted to tell me how god saves. Pretty unprofessional. Bottom line I tipped her 5 for a 15 dollar hair cut out of the kindness of my heart she does have kids that need to eat. I'll try it again but not in her chair. read more

Not a huge fan of haircuts. Stacy did a killer job. Super quick/didn't jump the gun/listened to my instructions. When I told her that I was nervous because i've had the same barber for a while, she gave me some water and patted me on the shoulder. Will be coming back for sure. You know I've gone to a high priced salon over half a dozen times and to be honest Samantha and the Hair Cuttery team at this location always out do them. To pay $200.00 for a cut, highlight and color and blow dry at Rizzeri and walk out dissapointed is unacceptable. But I never feel that way here. The same services that I got for 200. I got here for 114.00! And I was happy! Love this place, been going for years. read more

Normally I would rate 3 stars plus. Usually Janice takes care of me and does a fantastic job. Of course she was off and I gave the benefit of doubt to Lorraine. In hindsight I should've walked out and returned when Janice was there. Lorraine gave a new meaning to the expression "phoning it in". She went straight for the clippers and just butchered me. I was in that chair for less than 5mins. I was in disbelief, I just didn't have the words. I got up paid my bill. Which was $17, for something that I could've done at home. I even gave her a $5 tip. I guess it's just habit with me. After the shock wore off needless to say I was highly upset. I paid $22 for a lesson. If you're comfortable with your stylist and they are not available, just go home. read more
