I love going to Kris at Bladerunner. I (female) had lost my…read more15 year hair stylist in 2022, and since then had been bouncing around trying out different salons. Paying $75 (min.) for a mediocre haircut that was never the same the second visit, was frustrating and getting old so I thought outside the box and found the micro salon. I have gotten 4-5 haircuts from Kris, and even sent my mother to see him while she was visiting, and I highly recommend him. I am always happy with the cut, Kris is fast (30 minute for long hair), and the price is more than reasonable. It's just Kris with one chair and a barber shop vibe so if you are looking for the posh salon experience then the micro salon is probably not for you, but if you want to be happy with the end result then definitely give Kris a try.

He immediately put me at ease and was very easy to talk to and listened to what I wanted! His salon is very inviting and has beautiful pictures around that CHRIS has painted! He is very talented and artistic! I LVE my new haircut! He cut off at least 6 inches and gave my hair a lot of long layers about shoulder length. My hair feels very healthy now and has a lot of movement and texture with side swept bangs! I would recommend him without hesitation! Chris will make sure that you are happy before you leave his salon!

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this salon with Marie Kittrell…read more I want to give a heads-up to anyone who might walk in wearing a nice ring or driving a fancy car--you might end up being overcharged for services that typically cost half the price. I was charged $250 for a simple all-over black hair color, which is normally $125 at salons around the world. On top of that, I was charged $65 for a basic micro trim. I didn't say anything initially, but after a few days, I reached out to confirm the pricing. She quoted me a far lower price than what I was actually charged. When I confronted her, she made no effort to make things right. My advice? If you're going to pay top dollar, go to a high-end salon with a top-tier stylist in Cherry Creek. For these prices, it doesn't make sense to visit an out-of-the-way salon in Timbuktu with questionable practices.

I saw Briley Webb in October for balayage. Before I saw her my hair was strong and healthy (I posted a picture of me in September). Within a few weeks, my hair was severely damaged and breaking so badly that I lost about 4 inches of hair. I went back in December and she said it was damaged and compromised so she darkened it vs bleaching. I then messaged her on IG a week later to simply ask how long it would take to lighten and she sent me this book. I was never angry with her or pointing fingers even though we both knew SHE over processed and caused the damage. Our exchange is in pictures. It was never contentious. She then canceled my March appointment without reaching out to me about why. I had already gone back to my previous stylist who cut 2 more inches off of damaged hair. I posted a video on socials sharing my experience, without naming Main Muse or Briley, and sent it to Main Muse. Their response was simply, "Sorry this happened but we are not the salon for you." No offer to repair, refund and zero accountability. Had they simply offered a "What can we do to make it right?" I would not be posting this.

In the meantime I had also reached out through Facebook to book. Made an appointment and we arrived five minutes beforehand. There is nobody to check you in. The front is a waiting area and there is a wall which separates the stations from the front. A barber who was free asked what we were in for and I told him we had an appointment with T. He gestured to the other side from where he was and we looked back towards the two barbers there. Both had customers. My son went back when beckoned and was told by T to wait. It took a bit and I was not very happy as we had an appointment. Finally it was his turn and he went back for his cut. The atmosphere here is chaotic and there was a little child running around and seeking attention. Pretty sure he was there as his dad was a barber. I don't mind except that he kept getting into things and yelling. The haircut was meh. And when I asked how we pay, I was told cash only. No mention of that on their Facebook page. When I asked cash only? I was informed there's an atm in the corner. Also was over charged because the price for a teen haircut listed on their Facebook page is $20 ages 13-17. And men's $25 for 18 and up. T said $30 and it's 17 and up. I didn't argue and even gave him a tip but we won't be going back. I feel ripped off and the whole experience was not positive. If you want a military style cut which I saw a ton of, this is your place. But for anything else I'd go somewhere else.
