This review is no reflection on the waxer, Tee, she's amazing, I would go to her over and over and hopefully she leaves this place, but when you pay so much for the service and you tip really well I just expect better customer service!

I pre-bought a package and was basically paying $40 for just a Brazilian. I asked her twice (last time right before Rona) and she couldn't tell me how many I had left, nor was she available due to weight loss surgery. I wish her all the best but I like communication and a thorough job.

Just a heads up: I don't think she's in business anymore (at least not at this location on Austin)…read more I had scheduled two services online, received a confirmation, and showed up early for my appointment. But the door to the building was locked -- you have to go up the stairs in the back, there isn't another way in to the spa suites. I was standing out in the rain for a minute waiting for someone to let me in. Thankfully, one of the girls in one of the suites had just arrived and unlocked the door. What was interesting is that she was the first one there. Like she had to disarm the alarm and turn on all the lights in the waiting area. For a 10am wax appointment, I found this odd. Doesn't your wax have to heat up? I was trying to give Tonayia the benefit of the doubt....Lord knows emergencies happen. I waited nearly 20 minutes and tried calling Tonayia's 972 # that's on her confirmation email. It's the same # that's listed in her Yelp posting, too. What was weird was that the phone didn't ring. I just got a message stating that this number wasn't accepting phone calls. No way to leave a message. So I emailed her by responding to her confirmation to tell her I was leaving. At this point, I had been waiting over 20 minutes with zero communication. Again, I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. I have a small business and I know things happen. But 2 1/2 days later, still no response to my email. There's nothing worse than when someone wastes your time. If she does go into business again, I'd highly suggest calling before you head to your appointment to make sure that she's really in the office. Fortunately, Peace Love Wax in Plano (who has a no tipping policy) was able to get me in the same day. I'd suggest going there instead.

You come off very rude and bias. The attitude is unnecessary. As the customer, I do have the right to speak up. Nobody is using the race card, I'm simply stating the truth. Whether you changed phones or not, the attitude isn't needed & I still have the right to speak the truth. Update to Katie @ 8:37AM: How do you have a personal opinion when this is business related? Once again, you're extremely bias. This clearly is a personal issue that needs to be worked on within yourself Katie. You're practically proving my points. Please refer to your business rather than choosing to attack a customer "personally". Learn to accept the truth and move on. I'm honest enough to state the facts on Yelp. If that bothers you, then try to use your time to work on running a customer friendly business. This has nothing to do with any of the points you've mentioned. You just have poor customer service skills. Maybe you had a horrible day? Who knows. All I know is that you lack professionalism. End of the story Katie. Let it go. Update: 10/15 @ 8:59AM As a "business owner", Katie re-editing your post at every hand hour just continues to prove my point. You're making time to misjudge me when I have all the receipts laid out front. Simply learn to accept the truth or move on. I'm a consumer and I was not happy with the "customer satisfaction" given to me. I do along with many others have the right speak up. Please let this be put to rest and stop blowing up my phone with updates to your post. If you had addressed the truth from the beginning you wouldn't have to consistently review and edit your post. Thank you and have a nice day.
