Finding a good hair stylist can be challenging at the best of times, so a good reputation can go a long way! I started using Alice and a few of the other stylists after I heard from many people about how good and experienced they were. The hair stylists at Hair Booth are professional, super friendly, and go the extra mile to ensure me and my kids have a good experience. I enjoy the extra service they offer such as a head massage prior to the cut, which is so simple but relaxing. They treat you like family and the service is exceptional. The salon is very nice and clean...they even have a photo booth for their clients to use...which is unique. The staff are great and accommodating to my busy schedule. They fit me in last minute, which isn't easy to do when many of their stylist have a loyal following of clients. There are not a lot of good hair salons in the area and would definitely recommend others to try them out....you'll leave happy and satisfied. Thanks for the great service. read more

Afra is the best! I do not like finding a new stylist. But Afra eased the transition. She did a fabulous job on my fine hair. She recommended a weekly treatment which has made my hair even better over time. I look forward to my next appointment for another cut and highlights. Very nice modern salon. Service was fine but my stylist was a bit too rigorous with my hair, I would even say borderline rough. My hair looks good but what really left me disgruntled was that I came in for just a quick trim and they charged me $60. I hardly believe less than 20 minutes of service merits such a hefty price tag. If price isn't an issue then go ahead and check this place out, like I said, my hair looks good but as a broke university student, I really cannot afford to return. My apologies. Edit: I take it back, after washing my hair, I can see now without all the product that my hair actually looks really choppy and could have been done better, and since I don't usually bother myself with product, I really can't find anything nice to say about the business. read more

Awful. I went in for a trim, just the dead ends, it literally only took 3 minutes, and they charged me 60$. That's absolutely ridiculous. Not only was the price outrageous, the guy who did my hair, yanked and pulled, and scratched my face with the brush like 5 times. I'm furious and i will never be going back there. read more

So I decided to give this salon a try after seeing positive reviews. I have been just bouncing off different chatters to cut hair in the past years. Called the salon to book an appointment and got one. The stylist was friendly - but I don't think she was paying too much attention to what I was saying. I let her know my scalp gets irritated and itchy with products put on afterwards - I told her thermal protectant and little oil was fine - but she insisted putting products in my hair. I got home and my head is itchy as ever - ended up washing my hair again. The appointment was frequently interrupted (her staff keeps asking her things). Then came the bill - I do not mind paying for more as long as the service was "worth it". For 60 dollars my hair was washed, trimmed (because I wanted to leave it long), and just blow dried. *note I have curly frizzy hair*. My hair didn't even get straighten (this is the first time I got a haircut without straightening afterwards). I usually pay 45 dollars and I get a wash, cut, blow dry, straightening. Then came the "green fee" - no body has mentioned it before (phone or in person) - nor did the gal who was at the front explained to me what it was when I was paying. Overall experience was bad.I called and book the appointment for my 3 year old kid, which was confirmed by the staff .I reached on time but I guess no one was happy to help. A girl asked me for whom the haircut was for I told her it's for my son, she didn't come back.After waiting 10 mins I checked again with the boy at the reception, he pointed the other girl who will do my son's haircut.After 20 mins, finally got a call I sat with my kid on my lap, she ask me what type of haircut I was looking for, I told her the style, she understood and sprayed water on his hair, started combing and went to bring some equipment after a while a lady came and told that her staff is not experience enough in cutting children's hair .I was so disappointed with this statement as they realized after wasting my Time and didn't have courtesy to apologize. Staff have style but need to work lot on customer service and treat every client important even though if you can't help. read more
