Central Ohio Endodontics, Westerville…read more The level of care was exceptional. I have anxiety and had never had a root canal before, so I was definitely nervous going into and during the appointment. I had honestly never even heard of endodontics before the term "root canal" started being dropped into scheduling and conversation for me. It was nothing like I had imagined. Thank you to Dr. Sloan Lanctot and Dani. You were both truly amazing. You were attentive, listened, never made me feel rushed, and made the whole experience much easier and more comfortable. Wouldn't recommend a root canal for the fun of it, but the entire experience was better with you, and better than I could have ever imagined or expected. The office in Westerville is beautiful! It's new and think they have only been at this address a few months. I had a 9 AM appointment, arrived around 8:30 AM, and had no issues finding parking. The office and facility are clean and modern with new equipment. Everything felt as comfortable as could be, and the service from check in through the next day follow up was friendly and appreciated. Helpful notes: Upon arrival, the restrooms are on the second floor, directly across from the elevators. They are only accessible before you enter the suite. I was very impressed with the care I received and would absolutely recommend Dr. Lanctot and the team. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

When it comes to relieving it, you will not receive better care from another endodontic group. I've had 4 root canals in the last four years, three from Dr. Menke and one from Dr. Arens at the Dublin and Westerville offices, and each time, I have left feeling truly cared for. Professionalism and expertise is top tier. Dr. Menke has done the last three root canals for me and makes it a point to check on his patients the next day personally to see how things are. When was the last time a medical professional did that in our world? Best guy ever! The first root canal I had was an emergency two days before Xmas in '22 during a blizzard. A two-hour drive turned into three, and my whole head throbbed with pain. Walking out into a field and lying down was definitely on the table. If you know, you know. Dr. Arens took one look at me and in one minute, the pain was gone. The endodontist in Chillicothe I had gone to first actually had numbed my mouth, then looked down and said, "No. I'm not doing it. Your mouth is too small. Just have it pulled." Yep. Zero stars. Do not recommend. Dr. Arens saved my tooth. Despite my frequent brushing and flossing, old fillings have broken or fallen out, requiring more dental work as I've gotten older. Despite the 2-hr drive, Central Ohio Endodonics will always be my first choice for future work. The office staff is also kind and professional - very empathetic - and thoughtful, extending the exemplary dental care to the finish line. I appreciate everyone there. Do yourself a favor and just go there.

He took X-rays and explained what he was seeing and the procedure after doing some testing on my teeth. I felt very at ease with him and his staff. I admittedly had been putting this off for about a year and felt relief I chose to see him after discussing options. After agreeing to the procedure he started the numbing and it was the best experience I've had with this. He took his time and did in two rounds. I barely felt anything. He worked well with his assistant and continuously checked on me during the root canal. He was doing all the work but encouraged me on how well I was doing. An absolute class act and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him! Thanks Dr. Ben (from a big chicken that found courage thanks to you!)

Elite called the morning after I had a really bad night with pain and they could see me in three days instead of the originally scheduled day. I would rarely describe getting a root canal as 'wonderful,' but the staff was as kind in person as they were on the phone. Dr. Lisa explained what she thought was going on with the tooth and the conservative approach she'd recommend. She completed the procedure right away. I hope to not need another root canal, but if I do, this practice would be my first choice. Affordability is important, but for me, professionalism and kindness are of utmost importance. Their practice hits the mark on all three counts.

Someone called me Saturday morning and said they were closed Saturday's but the Dr, rearranged his schedule Monday to get me in. I was very thankful. What I love is that Dr. Ettrich is super cool and laid back, very personable and easy to talk to. It's almost like he's a long lost buddy you're visiting. Dr. Ettrich is VERY gentle and will do whatever you need or it takes so you are completely relaxed and comfortable during your procedure. He specializes and only does root canals and my dentist personally recommended him and now I know why. This is my 2nd visit to Dr. Ettrich and while I really like him, hopefully there are no more root canals in my future. I highly recommend him if you ever find yourself in need of a root canal, you can't go wrong. Honestly the only "eh" part is getting the novacaine shot, but even that is easy in the way he gives them to you and for my big baby butt to say that DOES say alot, trust me.

But the woman at the front desk who I called on the phone was SO happy to help me, she made me feel so welcome and so extremely prioritized, that I actually felt EXCITED to get go in to the dentist, & by chance was able to get me in very quickly, she really took her time and put me on hold to invest help into figuring out this tooth crisis, without EVER making me feel like I was a burden, or annoying, I felt like a person! a valuable patient in need! That was very valuable and important to me, I felt seen, and I knew right away that I could trust them to care for my teeth correctly... I immediately took an Uber over to Reynoldsburg Dental Center, (from the dental center down the way that I was currently at, who made me feel like a burden and unwelcome) so, needless to say I was SO happy I found reynoldsburg dental! Especially, because I had a broken tooth come up with sudden sharp pain and needed it pulled ASAP! I was SO confident walking up to reynoldsburg dental, even though I hadn't seen it inside, I could tell who they were, honest people who want to help; well, my expectations did NOT fail me, upon walking inside, the atmosphere is so comfortable that you feel like you're at home!wonderful music, lovely books available, and extremely nice people, this is DEFINITELY the place you are looking for if you've ever had an uncomfortable or bad experience at another dental office and you want to change that! I will NEVER go anywhere else now, It was THAT nice after I went in the back, my dentist went to great lengths to make sure I was comfortable and completely informed, he walked me through everything and I felt NO pain at all even when I got it pulled out, only pressure, no pain! This was the best dental procedure ever! Lol But, seriously, I cannot explain how much I appreciate the entire team here, especially Dr. Ryan Naylor, who worked on my tooth, and the woman (I can't remember her name) who was SO caring at the front desk, you all just earned a customer for life! I will be back here every time I need a dentist appointment! Even better, they accept (most) or all insurance providers! Thank you for a WONDERFUL experience! Great job team!!!

The periodontist wanted to extract a tooth that was, in my experience, solid as a rock and not giving me any pain. I declined the suggested procedure. When I returned for my next cleaning, they inquired about whether I had seen the periodontist. When I explained that I had but that I had decided not to undergo the recommended procedure, they informed me that their "new" policy was to not perform cleanings on patients that had been prescribed a periodontal treatment but had not followed through. I don't know the professional ethics of such a policy, but it seems unethical to me. I will always retain the right to make decisions about my own health care without undue pressure from any medical provider. If you feel the same way, avoid the Reynoldsburg Dental Center.
