Ali did a great job making our son feel comfortable. He talked to my son, let him choose clippers and turn them on and made him feel very comfortable and involved. I preferred to cut my own hair. It was easier back then because I wore it long. Well then, I cut my hair short in solidarity with women in Iran. I am committed to keeping it short but I'm in law school now and I want to look more professional. I went straight back to Trizzie. I didn't have to worry about telling her ALL the details of my hair. I just trusted her to fix it. I told her I didn't want to spend much time on it. I pointed out that my hair is wavy and it's very troubling for me in the morning! She definitely listened!! She pointed out the different ways my hair twists (I think this is a cowlick lol). She took her time cutting my hair and chatted with me a little about her recent location change (my gps initially took me to her old location). I enjoyed hearing her talk. I mostly complained about my hair. She recommended that I use leave in conditioner so it stays the way I want it. I felt good when I left but I was worried that I was just mesmerized by all the decorations in her shop. I was a little worried when I went home- (I've had some baaad haircuts from stylists) I'm happy to report that when I followed my usual routine and added the leave in conditioner, my hair looked great!! In Kent, the population of single mothers and families on government assistance is probably the highest in the county, but for some reason these guys are confident their pricing is fair and reasonable. Someone told me to never hate someone for their hustle, but I think when you overcharge for services, you are setting yourself up for failure. I don't care how good a haircut is, it's only worth so much money, and unless your appointments are 100% on time and every cut you give is clean, you are opening yourself up to criticism. I think you will get a solid hair cut here, but I also think you could get the same cut elsewhere for about $7 less.

I discovered a bald spot larger than a quarter, likely a result of an unguarded clipper used despite my request to use #3 or #4 clipper guards. The barber concealed this error when they showed me their work and I unfortunately discovered it at home. Picture below for reference. It's disappointing that a major error like this wasn't disclosed to the customer. This makes me question the integrity of the staff and the quality of service this establishment provides.
