I had planned to order some slices to try some different pizza varieties, but there was just one or two pizzas in the case, so I ended up ordering a small white pizza. The employee who took my order was very friendly and polite. I was confused about the beverage I ordered, as I am used to fountain drinks and iced tea options. So the only choices here were Pepsi products with a limited selection or bottled water. The restaurant has some tables and a bar that wasn't being used. The front of the kitchen is open to the dining area, so you could watch them toss the dough. Most were getting orders to go, but there seemed to be some mishaps: orders not ready when customers arrived, or orders not found. From what I picked up, it seemed the slips were falling on the floor rather than being put up with the orders to make. When my pizza arrived, I was surprised that it was served with a hole in it. It looked like someone took a bite of it. I've not been served a pizza in that condition before. I'm not sure if it was caused by a finger or just bad cutting. Whatever the reason was, was bad quality control. The pizza tasted fine, and the crust was good. It just seems by now that the kinks should have been worked out, and these mishaps should not be happening. It is sad that the kitchen is rushing the pizza cutting, being careless, and not caring about the presentation. It makes me wonder what else is happening that I can't see. I wouldn't order from here again.

One slice and two knots had me full. I enjoyed the fresh ricotta on the pizza (my boys were not big fans, so we got some plain cheese for them instead). The only potential ding was once we were sat, the service from there was really slow (a challenge with two special needs kids). The wine list was reasonable both by glass and by bottle - much more so than most upscale Italian places. I took the remainder of our pizza back to the hotel and then home with us after our event -- reheated a couple slices when we got home in the oven and it was still delicious. I was surprised my salad was made fresh rather than being prepackaged. But I loved the compostable plate and not a plastic container.
