This is very late in coming, as Hahka finished our master bath remodel 9 months ago, but that actually is good as we now have several months of use and can say that it's much better that we had imagined. They were a really easy team to work with and we found all of their craftsmen to be some of the best we've ever worked with. (This is our 3rd house remodel). We are unique in that we do our own remodeling work. We needed help, however, with our kitchen cabinets. They didn't hesitate to help us design and order cabinets. The attention to detail in Linda's design was fabulous. Everything went together on our installation, just like it should. She recommended different cabinet sizes and designs than we originally thought we wanted, and now that we have finished our installation, we are so glad she had that professional insight. We had a very difficult experience with this company. I would NOT recommend them at all. We started a major home renovation project with Hahka Kitchens but had to break away after the preliminary work -- permitting work/drafting/architectural work etc cost us 4X of what was initially estimated. When asked about why most work was going over budget Randy was very rude and condescending. He claimed that the estimates were a best guess - but their 'best guess' was way off-mark, at 1/4th of the actual expense! There was no communication from Hahka when the expenses were going over estimate, only final bills sent and payment seeked. With an already expensive project going over budget in the preliminary stage, it wasn't working out with Hahka kitchens so we decided to part ways - we are so thankful for that decision! Our next contractor was much more transparent about the costs, more hands-on and kept us informed of any rising expenses. Many months into our renovation project with our new contractor, we discovered that there were glaring discrepancies in the architectural/drafting work Hahka kitchens did for us and submitted to the county for permits. Their architect never visited our site, all measurements for the plans were taken by Randy (owner of the business). Our approved permits had major measurement flaws as a result of which a door, interior wall, garage door and windows were significantly misaligned, by a few feet! We were shocked to find that the plans submitted to the county for approval, the work for which we paid many $$$$$ to Hahka Kitchens had such glaring discrepancies! We had to get that work redone by our new contractor, reach out to another architect as the original architect from Hahka kitchens was difficult to reach. When we reached out to Randy about these discrepancies in the plan his claim was that the new contractor is responsible for cross verifying the plan measurements before starting work, he was not at all apologetic about incorrect measurements in the plans drafted by Hahka! Our experience with this company was terrible, I would not recommend them to anyone! Avoid this business! I would give them zero stars if I could. read more

I had a kitchen that was about 30 years old and in desperate need of remodeling. I was hesitant to undertake such a big project, but Hahka Kitchens helped me every step of the way! Linda spent hours designing my kitchen; her attention to detail gave me confidence that my new kitchen would be beautiful as well as functional. Randy is an excellent contractor. He was very reliable, responsible, and patient in responding to all my questions; he even finished the project 2 weeks ahead of schedule! Randy's crew worked very hard, did excellent high quality work, and were very accommodating and helpful down to the last detail, including cleaning up at the end of each day. The end result was a kitchen that I absolutely love; I couldn't be happier with it! I intend to use Hahka Kitchens in the near future for my bathroom remodels. I had my ugly yellow maple contractor grade kitchen remodeled by Hahka Kitchen. It was the first time I had anything remodeled. I did lots of reading on my own and Linda answered all the questions I asked. They sell Bellmont and Dura Supreme cabinets, which are mid to upper mid level cabinetry depend on the line you choose. I think you can certainly find cheaper options out there, but Hahka kitchen provides good workmanship and good customer service, and its worth it to pay a bit more for quality and convenience. The construction part of the work was done by the Ocampo family, just to give you some idea on their workmanship, the father spend almost a whole day remove and patch up the tile floor perfectly. My one regret regarding the kitchen was that I wish I had purchased new cabinets for the pantry area instead of just installing new doors. The colors matched perfectly, but the hand painted new pantry doors aren't as smooth as the new factory finished cabinet doors in the kitchen. read more

Randy Hahka and his team just completed work on our kitchen and we could not be more happy. His planner Linda spent four multiple hour sessions on her computer with us planning every inch of our kitchen to maximize the space, efficiency and aesthetic of our kitchen. While the schedule of eight weeks Randy proposed seemed long at first, in the end it was realistic and he was able to keep to it, even though a flooring contractor we had hired separately caused delays. The result is a kitchen that is all we had hoped for and which invites us to linger on for more conversation, even when the meal is over. You might pay less at a warehouse store, but in terms of design, quality and convenience, you are not going to do any better than Hahka Kitchens. read more

I had Hahka Kitchens do my kitchen remodel and could not be happier. The process was so smooth from the moment I walked in "just to get a rough estimate" to the finish. They couldn't be nicer people to work with. Linda is a great designer and Randy is an excellent contractor. We came up with several solutions to things that I didn't care for. I love the cabinets I choose with the door style and finish. The hardest selection to make was the Cambria quartz countertop and they were very patient in ordering larger samples of a number of options. My kitchen remodel turned into a kitchen remodel with new flooring and a few changes in the bathroom and Randy was happy to answer all of my questions. The Ocampo brothers did excellent work installing the cabinets and hardware. They were so pleasant to have working in my home and were very careful when installing my appliances. read more

If you expect any sort of follow through or for your kitchen design/sales people to stand behind their work, AVOID these people. To add insult to injury, they are using a photo of MY kitchen as the first one on their website! (They have not responded to my request to remove it.) I purchased a home that had undergone a recent kitchen remodel done by Hakha Kitchens. Although it took a considerable amount of sleuthing, I was thrilled when I found myself speaking to Linda, who stated that she had actually done the kitchen design with the previous owner. My problem was simple---there are two cabinets that were left open (for display purposes and to accommodate a TV, according to Linda) that I would like to purchase doors for. Linda referred to the kitchen plan and said she would email me by the end of the week with info on the cost for the doors and how to obtain them. I called again today after receiving nothing from them last week and was told that my job was too small for them to bother with! Linda advised that I deal directly with the cabinet maker, DuraSupreme. She did not provide me with any of the information I needed (door style, wood, finish, sizes for the doors, or even the order numbers for the existing cabinets) nor did she provide me with any contact information for the cabinet company. After an internet search, I was able to find a telephone number for DuraSupreme, where a lovely Customer Service rep named Jill expressed shock and dismay that I would be told to deal with them directly as they are a dealer-only company! I was referred to the next closest dealer 40 miles away in another town. (To be fair, Jill helped me through the process of finding order and tracking numbers on the back of a drawer and directed me to someone who should be able to get the doors for me.) In other words, Hakha Kitchens is refusing to provide me with the necessary info for cabinetry that they provided and that I now own! Thanks to Hahka Kitchens for nothing but wasting a week of my time waiting for the service they had promised. Their customer service was non-existent and apparently once they have been paid for a job they do not stand behind their work. Considering the high cost of kitchen cabinetry, I would advise you in the strongest possible terms to AVOID dealing with this firm. If I could give them ZERO STARS, I would. read more
