We had been searching for our wedding for 2 months and hadn't found a single caterer who checked all the boxes we were looking for and at a reasonable price. At the end of our ropes, we went in to Darbar for a tasting service and immediately the experience was different. Mike the Owner was kind and attentive, asking us questions about our event, and making sure that we were having a good time during the tasting. The food was all delicious. This was the first easy decision we'd had regarding choosing a vendor for our wedding and we immediately decided that we would have Darbar cater our wedding. Now, one might think that the service we received that night was a one-off experience to get us in the door. It was anything but because all through the process of planning and ultimately executing our event, Mike was extremely accommodating and worked hard to make sure we, and most importantly, our guests were going to be happy. The actual event itself was wonderful. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious, and the service was exemplary. At no point did we have to guide or direct anyone, and everything was seamless and smooth. They went above and beyond in ways we weren't even aware of but learned after the event - all to make sure that everything was smooth for our guests and to make sure that we weren't burdened by any troubles during the event itself. I cannot thank Mike enough, he truly added so much to our wedding. We highly recommend Darbar Catering Services to anyone searching for a truly top tier caterer.

Chapati is the flat bread...think Indian tortilla, but more sophisticated lol. I got the Chicken Tikka Marsala wrap. And of course this is after I just read on WebMD that I shouldn't order Chicken Tikka Marsala in any form because of its high carb, fat, and sodium content due to the spicy yogurt based curry that the chicken swims in. Well sign me up heart disease be damned rofl!! The lady heated up the chapati on the flattop grill, then gave me a heaping ladle full of Tikka Marsala, added some diced cucumber and tomato, and drizzled the spicy green chili sauce on top. She wraps it up, and then proceeds to toast it on the flattop again. She asked me if I worked around there, and I told her I was visiting, and had never tried her food before. So she gives me a free Samosa, which of course she doused the side of with Tamarind Chutney. Oh man. That was insane!!! Sorry I don't have a pic because that thing was gone in a sec my camera wasn't fast enough. Oh yeah unboxing the Chapati wrap once I got home was so fun. For my this was a jackpot, this was dinner and tomorrow's lunch for 3 people! Since I was able to try ALL three options, here's what i thought: Aloo Chana - chickpeas and potatoes - my two friends order this. This was tasty and a great vegan option. Paneer - Curried spinach and cottage cheese. Probably my least favorite but possibly because I'm not head over heels over cottage cheese. Chicken Tikka Masala - This was so flavorable that I dipped my wrap in the sauce with the paneer. Samosas were a little bit cold by the time I had them but understandable.
