I love Indian food and don't have any time to cook, so this is a healthy yet truly delicious option: What sets this meal service apart from others is that I don't have to sacrifice flavor and spice to stay fit. (In the past, it has been extremely difficult for me to stick with nutritious food services because the meals were never spicy enough, never left me satisfied, and then I would often go to bed hungry and frustrated/eat a giant bag of Masala Banana Chips to compensate). That being said, it is also a very personalized service. The chef is not only talented and likes to vary the menu from week to week but will also reach out to you personally to ask about any dietary restrictions and/or preferences. Deliveries are just once a week, and you will always receive a text the evening before so that you know when you should be ready to receive the food. I receive mine early in the morning, so the delivery never interferes with my work schedule. I have chosen the option to receive six different veggie and protein dishes (to mix and match throughout the week), but I believe they also offer breakfast items like masala idli. The food is so fresh and healthy, the dishes delicious and varied each week, and my husband and I always remark on how great we feel after these meals -- nothing like our (beloved but) heavy Indian take-out in our neighborhood. I'm a big fan of Indian food so I am very excited to find this gem of a place. My wife and I had the Tikka Masala, chickpeas, rice, garlic naan, and the salad. It is the details that differentiate a good restaurant from a great one. The subtle spices were very tasty and not overwhelming. The tikki masala was wonderful! You can actually taste how the chicken was roasted. And the garlic Naan was highly addictive. We ended the meal with a mango lassi...in all its deep creamy goodness! I am a regular at this restaurant & I'm surprised I didn't leave a review earlier. It must be because I so happy after eating the delicious food here. The people here are very pleasant and give you great service. They will cook the food to your liking weather spicy, mild tangy or sweet. They have many vegetarian options but I recommend the chefs special when it is available trust me it's amazing. The butter chicken is also very good. I loved Superfine tiffins. The food is healthy and tastes great. It is ideal for people who want home made north indain food but dont have time/dont know how to to cook themselves. The service is great as well.They have all kinds of options from vegan to non vegetarian. I tried the omnivore package and really liked it. You can also customize your plan/add extra rotis as you like. The menu is changed every week so you never get bored of the food. I am so delighted to have discovered Superfine Tiffins. I wanted a healthy meal delivery service now that I'm working from home, and I had been using a larger company for a bit, but I was disturbed by the significant amount of packaging their meals came with. Superfine Tiffins sells reusable containers that you buy once, and then you can just have food in new containers delivered each time and give back the old ones--a brilliant way to avoid waste! Delivery has been during the time slot promised, early for me but worth getting up for because the food has been healthy and absolutely delicious thus far. Also, the customer service has been fabulous (emails with questions have gotten an almost immediate answer). I would definitely recommend this service, and I can only wish more restaurants offered an option like this, but I'm very grateful to have found this one. read more

In Jamaica, NY we were looking to eat Indian food and found this wonderful place. It is small but the hospitality was the best I have received. My younger daughter was sick and having nausea because of a long ride. The ladies at the restaurant took care of her really well and even suggested food for her to take care of her nausea. I ordered from this authentic family-owned Indian restaurant last week. It's hidden on Rockaway Boulevard, an area not known for this type of food. I was skeptical. I give every place one chance. This place blew my mind! I've been to good Indian restaurants in Manhattan and further out on Long Island. I'm spoiled. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised at Superfine. I had no idea the food would be so delicious and authentic! The menu is extensive and includes a nice variety of vegetarian/vegan options as well. The portions are large. We got 3 meals out of one entree, a salad and two appetizers. Very tasty, well cooked food. Chicken cooked to perfection. Salad was super fresh, garnered from local farms as much as possible. The staff were quite courteous and patiently explained the menu items to me over the phone! The food was ready on time; they called to let me know it was ready. Everything is freshly prepared, spicy to taste. This restaurant is an extra treat to the neighborhood. The prices are very reasonable. Not much space for dining-in for a large group, but good for an intimate meal for 2-4, and they cater. This is our new go-to place. 5 minutes from home.
