Best sandwich from a grocery store

I work close to this haggens and evertime I come in I'm amazed at how well staffed how amazing the food in the deli looks and how helpful everyone is! I forget to come here some days and then after I do go, im so happy that I chose to come in thank you fairhaven haggens for just being outstanding

I have had one of the worse experiences in a pharmacy I've ever had. There is one redheaded pharmacist who seems to get a kick out of not ordering my medication when my refill is do and I have ad to repeatedly waited up to 2 days for them to order it even though I get it here every month. This is a medication I'm not supposed to stop. No apology, not evena smile-- straight-up rude could give a dam* attitude. Then I go to get another script today for my thyroid medication and they say it's in Ferndale. I call Ferndale and they said Fairhaven just called them and had it transferred to them. 4 hours later I come in to pick it up and they tell me they don't have it!

I am not a big fan of shopping at Haggens. Well maybe its the prices and the option. I would prefer Freddie. I don't find the prices here being that great. But I do notice that Haggen is very quiet and not a lot of people here. This is not the only Haggen that is like this. They have a lot of organic produce, dairy and canned food. But for some reason if I were to get organic stuff, I would go to Trader Joe. Lots of parking out front.

I really love the store! After moving up here, there is not much of selection from when one moves from a big city. When one wants to cook in a gourmet style, one really needs good ingredients to start with. I was having a difficult time until I found this amazing chain. They have all the hard to find items in almost every category. From east Indian to a bakery that sells some pretty amazing items. It's very hard to walk by and not grab some kind of snack, (So evil of them to make it look that good!) Then there is the Deli. Its items are quite one of a kind, from the Asian noodle Thai salad to the golden potato salad, and everything in between. They really have mastered the chef level taste on too many dishes. Their Reuben sandwich is really up there for a chain store deli. I had no idea they have them on sale, selling on selected cold days for their customers to just pick up, ( are you sitting down now!) the price of $3.99, hot and ready to eat. That is like the 4th of July at Christmas! Does it get any better than that? Tell me where you can find any Reuben for that prince all made up when you walk in the store. "Score!" Let's not forget the Wednesday Sushi night! You can binge out on sushi rolls for under $20 and get pretty stuffed. The quality is right up there with many top restaurants. Kind of hard to do that in Bham. Here, you walk away thinking, (Did I just get a spider roll and a couple others for under $20?? Really!) You should know, you must understand, this all costs money! They are noticeably a bit more pricey than the other stores. Once you get used to the royal treatment, the extra costs just feel right in line with the final experience and Top Notch quality of, yes, ...come-on.... say it, Everything!

They must have professionals come nightly to clean and wax the Floors, they glow. The variety of all foods are there. Whether it be Hispanic,Italian,Asian,Native, and all American groceries are in abundance. They always have everything stocked never an item you can't get or find on anyday or anytime you go there. The Deli has awesome selection you can buy anything its always fresh made the same day. One of my favorites it is the cold cuts for $5 and you get a great amount of meat like Turkey,Chicken Breast,Ham,Provolone American,Pepperjack, and Jalapeño cheese. The homemade Cold slaw and Potatoe salad and Macaroni salad is just like the way my family makes it so delicious. Absolutely recommend that! I was just staring at the Steaks at the Meat department and the Head of the Department Manager actually asked me very politely do you need help? I told her yes,Thank you,She advised me that the Steaks were $10 off for 4 Steaks Sirloin and Chuck Steaks were buy 1 get 1 Free with your purchase with your Fred Meyer card( A Must Have)! I purchased 3 packages of Steak and literally saved $50 dollars ( No Joke). I Thanked her. She replied ," It's was my pleasure."! I Think President Trump was right groceries are getting cheaper! You have to see there Produce Department there you will see an appetizing Fresh I mean Fresh array of fruits and vegetables of all kinds with the steam or sprinklers on keeping them so edible . So Delicious I ate a few grapes bought the whole bunch lol. I strongly recommend trying there Seafood Department. There are so many same day Fresh caught Fish, shrimp, etc. Love it I can eat it all day long very satisfying and tasty. I then have to say that Checkout is Fast ,Efficient, and with total care. CeeCee the cashier Isle #6 was so friendly and immediately asked me for my Fred Meyer Discount card. She then scans all my items fast and accurately and was smiling like I knew her before, maybe I have lol. But she told me the amount I had to pay for all my groceries for 2 weeks was just alittle over $100. She then told me I saved over $50 I'm like I need to give you a hug she actually did! Wow Love CeeCee PLEASE GIVE Ceecee a raise!! Then there was Leia she packed my backpack and Leia worked her Magic and managed to fit all my groceries in. I was amazed how she did that. I looked at her and got scared and said," How'd you do that dang woman! Overall my experience at the Fred Meyers on 800 Lakeway Drive in Bellingham,Wa was incredible. Awesome Customers service in every department. Friendly Workers( Not Frozen lol) they truly seem to care about each and every customer. I actually felt that they had given me the best experience grocery shopping anywhere I've ever shopped at. Go to Fred Meyers at 800 Lakeway Drive in Bellingham,Wa the Cleanest, Best Customer Service,Superior to any grocery store I've ever been too,Great atmosphere, and you'll feel safe there knowing they will actually help you with anything and everything in every department., I give them 10 STARS. Thank you Fred Meyers for being just Awesome! Stephen Curtis Hamilton- Brooks

I understand pharmacies can be understaffed, but the level of disorganization and lack of communication here is unbelievable. I would give zero stars if I could. I will absolutely be transferring my prescriptions somewhere else.

Looks like a hole in the wall from outside which we know is usually where good food comes from but talk about sketch and questionable. Hard to navigate small lot. Park in back where someone appears to be looking for drugs in grass around cars. Someone is beating carpets outside with gloves on. We see a few people on patio and in the weird area through the entryway window sitting to eat. They close at 10. We showed a little after 8. Confused walking into a small market and where to order, we turn toward the meat counter. There's a register. You hear voices but no people to be seen. There's a limited menu above meat counter. We stood awkwardly waiting. The person beating the carpets walls in from back with gloves still on and pushes past us. Doesn't say a word. Stands in front of register and just stares loathing us. Awesome start. I ask if this is where we order food. She nods. I say I'd like to place an order for here. She says at this time they're only doing takeout. We are far from home, don't want to eat in car. We see patrons eating with seating available. She stands silently holding her broom with rbf permanent on face seemingly annoyed I interrupted her night. At this point exhausted with the exchange, I just want food. We keep the order simple to get out of this insufferable person's aura. But wait, problems with order. I don't even remember the full interaction after that at this point but I remember them saying they ran out of meats so there was chicken or vegetable. I'm sure that's someone's choice but not ours. It's not even worth trying to make it work. I remember trying to kill with kindness because maybe she's just having a day but once we changed our minds and decided to leave, couldn't believe it was possible to get icier. I feel bad for people like that. This woman seemed to hate her job and people. This is the only impression we will ever have of this place. Will never come back. I'm sure the food is edible but honestly wouldn't trust it. Looks dirty in there. She was still wearing the carpet beating gloves at the register. Idk about Bellingham code but hope they pass for yalls sake. There were seemingly a million and one places to get Mexican food in Bellingham. Choose a place where they treat you right and you're not afraid the register lady is going to sabotage your food and no one will break into your car looking for drugs. We ended up going to a fantastic Mexican restaurant with the best food and despite it being 20 mins to close over at that place, they were so kind and amazing. And the ambiance was so wonderful. If you have to choose, pick literally anywhere else.
