The miso soup was not as hot as it should have been and has some sort of brown vegetable in it that initially I thought was pork or beef but thankfully it was just a vegetable. They never checked on me as I was eating and forgot to take the menu off the table. The restaurant was nicer on the inside, than it was in their tiny parking lot with childish spray painted asphalt. The very of the water was nice. I would return the next time I bring my son to the trampoline park across the street.

We ordered some other items but I'd say that's the best roll you can get. We also ordered the Sushi Dragon Balls which is a fun looking dish. Just regular in my opinion. An Unforgettable Omakase Experience!…read more We celebrated the 4th of July with an incredible omakase dinner at Masaki, and it exceeded every expectation. Every course was beautifully presented, impeccably fresh, and perfectly balanced. From the delicate Red Sea Bream and buttery Scallop to the luxurious Toro with Caviar, Sweet Shrimp with Uni, and the unforgettable Eel with Foie Gras, each bite was a masterpiece. What truly elevated the evening was Michael, our sushi chef. He was warm, engaging, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He took the time to explain every course, the origin of the fish, the flavors, and the best way to enjoy each piece. His passion for his craft was evident, and his attention to detail made the entire experience feel personal and memorable. Dining at the sushi bar gave us a front-row seat to watch the artistry behind every piece. The quality of the ingredients, the precision of the preparation, and the genuine hospitality made this one of the finest omakase experiences we've ever had. Thank you, Michael, and the entire Masaki team, for making our holiday celebration so special. We can't wait to return for another unforgettable evening!

I guess that's part of the "charm"? But literally when we found it we didn't even know if the place was open. The gates were down, the windows were basically covered and nothing about the place was welcoming. We realized they were in fact open so we approached the door. We were greeted by a piece of paper stating "reservations only". We entered anyway and the place was EMPTY. There was one couple seated but other than that the place was EMPTY. The hostess approached us and I asked her if we needed a reservation and she said we did. So we said ok we'll come back another time and then she said, " well since it's pretty quiet tonight we can seat you." We should have left. We were in there for about an hour give or take and no one else came in at all. At all. Anyways, we ordered our food. I ordered the sashimi plate and my husband ordered a couple rolls. We also ordered the crab and avocado salad and the hamachi kama. Everything was basic. Nothing was amazing...oh except the price of the hamachi kama. Menu said market price and I get it, that means the price will fluctuate accordingly, but $60 for the hamachi kama? I almost fell off my chair when the bill came. I have eaten at very high end sushi restaurants and am almost 50 years old. I have never had a $60 hamachi kama. This one wasn't even tasty!!! It was not good or flavorful. Tasted like they just defrosted and microwaved it. I was wondering why i kept hearing a microwave go off but realized after the fact that that's what they must have done. I did not complain. We paid the bill. We left. Later that night I had stomach issues. Nicest way I can put that. I will say that i ate almost nothing that day so I can only attribute the stomach issues to the sushi. Needless to say we will not be back.
