Their service has been fantastic. A recent incident to illustrate this. While we were vacationing in England, a smoke detector developed a fault and created a false alarm. Durrell's monitoring system had the fire brigade there in minutes, a neighbor was able to let them in and they established that there was no fire. We talked from the UK to Durrell's engineers and one of them was able to divert to the house and replace the faulty detector with a new one. Less than two hours after the original false alarm, our house was secure again with a fully functioning system and we were able to get back to enjoying our vacation. Butler Durrell offers personal service and real concern for their client's peace of mind. They never penny pinch. If something needs replacing they just go ahead and do it. Highly recommended.

She called the Godfrey Fire Dept. who could not find any problem but, immediately after, the lights in her dining room quit working. Then a family member tried to remedy the problem but, to no avail. After assessing the problem, Bickle Electric informed me they were 3 months out on service and repairs which was no problem. A few days later, a service rep named Christian showed up at my mom's house. He was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional with my mom. We are preparing to sell out home and I had a home inspection done prior to listing and the inspector took one look at the Sylvania electrical panel and flipped his lid. I was given Charlie McCarty's name from a construction contractor friend and called. He answered and scheduled to meet me at my home the next day. He not surveyed the electrical panel, but inspected each and every outlet in the house. He agreed with everything the home inspector stated in his assessment, and even added a few things that needed to be addressed before St Louis County sent someone for an Occupancy permit inspection. Charlie's computer died the night before his visit, but it did not stop him from meeting me at the agreed upon appointment time. He kept in touch with me as he got his system restored. He sent a crew to the house to handle all the work required after getting the necessary work permits. The proposal was fair (far less than I imagined) and the work was handled in swift fashion. there were a few minor things that got missed, but were corrected with just one phone call. I am not one to gush over people doing their job, but when a small business owner stands up to the job he bids, then stands behind the workmanship and takes full responsibility, I feel I need to let everyone know.
