It's $5 for the button." I can only assume that they were hoping I wouldn't notice the increase and were trying to take advantage of me not remembering the previously agreed upon price. Simply dishonest. All I can say is be sure to remember your price. Luckily I did. I wouldn't go back or recommend this place based on my interactions with them. We have been using these folks for 8 years. I agree that there has been a shift in service, as another reviewer mentioned. Our batch in December came back musty with a terrible odor, I suspect from not drying the cleaner sufficiently. When we returned it, the cleaner said she didn't smell it. She relented in cleaning our clothes again at no charge, but they still smell and our clothes were expensive. Now ruined. Will be using a new cleaner moving forward. read more

I had been going to Pleasanton cleaners for my business travel clothes and would prefer to support Dublin local businesses, but paying $50 for wrinkles is not what I call good service. Visited to have my dress hemmed. The women are kind and the turn around time exceeded my expectations. They told me as least one week as it depends on their current queue of alterations work. My request was simple, hem a light weight lined dress. I'm only 5ft tall and the dress was long. Their service is valuable to me because I don't have the tools or skill to do a easy hem. They completed this in under 24 hours. This turn around time will not be my regular expectation and I will give myself more time for hemming. Asked to have 5 items cleaned with a specific date and time for pick up. Items were not ready as agreed, and 3 items that were clean were at a different store. 1 item was located at the other location (4 items found) and the 5th was still lost. A week later they find my 5th item and then ask for full price for their services and they would offer a $10 discount next time. Poorly managed, poorly run and disorganized business. I went to this place and customer service is horrible. The lady that works there also works for VIP cleaning, and when it comes to customer service she is on a different planet. I took my shirts to be clean but instead all my dress shirts had stain on them. When I ask her what happened, her first reply was I will re-clean them, then when I ask who is the owner her reply was to google it. The owners were kind on asking to re do the shirts however there overall works s bad on how the press and clean. Terrible service. They have two locations. For high ratings they really disappointed me on my first visit. We dropped off rush items for a wedding. They were supposed to be ready the night prior. When I went to pick up the articles of clothing they weren't ready until the very day of the wedding event. Also, I had to pick it up at their second location. In my opinion, they are incompetent, non-responsive and untrustworthy. I would think twice about trusting them with valuable items. I took my mattress cover to Hacienda Cleaners for dry cleaning. I specified that the item must be dry-cleaned and line-dried. After repeated excuses as to why the item was taking so long, they finally informed me that they regular washed the item and it had shrunk beyond repair. It was a really stressful week for me and my family when I came into Hacienda Cleaners. You see, we had a death in the family and I needed my suit cleaned for the funeral. I brought it in on a Monday and was given a claim ticket for Thursday, which was fine with the services starting on Friday. Fast forward to Thursday evening and my wife goes to pick the garments up and they're not ready. I was livid. I didn't want to have to go back there the next day and pick the stuff up before the funeral. I called them and, in a not so nice manner, insisted that I'd be picking up the garments as soon as they opened on Friday morning and I would not be paying for the services. Shortly after getting off the phone, a different person than the one I spoke to called me back. She politely apologized for the garments being late, offered an explanation, and generously offered to deliver them to our home. I felt terrible. This was incredible. Sure, they made a mistake, but going the extra mile to deliver everything to our place was above and beyond. I wouldn't go anywhere else to have my dry cleaning done. read more

I didn't check immediately after getting the clothes back and only noticed when I wanted to wear that pair of pants 2-3 months later. I have moved out of the Dublin area at the time so couldn't bring the pants back. I contacted owner, sent him the pictures and asked if they could refund the $16 I paid for alteration. Extremely rude customer service and ruined and missing clothes. A hole burned straight through a dress and another dress gone missing and never returned to me. The woman at the counter (dont remember her name but she had short black hair and was an older woman) said "oh thats too bad" and grinned. Also when i went to pick them up my friend came in with me to have her pants pressed the woman made a joke about how they "match her" which im assuming is because the pants were brown and my friend is of color. Then tried to tell her it would be $200 and giggled. So basically she was either trying to tell a really bad joke or just refusing her service because of her race. Their quality of work is good, however they get negative marks for timeliness. I took items in Tuesday afternoon sith the expectation that they would be ready ny Thursday at 5 pm. I called Thursday around 230 or 3 pm to ask about my items to which I received a swift comment that the items aren't ready if I haven't gotten a text message yet. Okay, that's fair since my ticket said 5 pm, however, I never received a text message. I go in to pick uo my items around noon and my items are still not ready for immediate pick up. Instead, I wait as they finish folding it. I ask about a discount because my items were a half day late. I didn't get one, and was told they could have folded it for me yesterday at 5 to hand it to me. Two problems with that 1) my items should be ready to go by 5 and 2) how am I to know that was a possibility when I had been told I would receive a text message when mxy items were ready. In all, these folks do good work, however, timeliness is important for someone like myself who's constantly running around from place to place. So, if you don't mind making a later pick up than scheduled, they're great, but if you're counting on items being ready on time after two days, maybe pass. read more

We have been customers of Hacienda cleaners since moving to Dublin, two years ago. We have had numerous problems with them but the people that work there have been very nice and the locations convenient for us so we have given them the benefit of the doubt each time. First there was some kind of fire at the facility that cleaned and laundered our dress shirts. Several batches came back smelling dirty. Second time, we noticed that for whatever reason under arm marks were starting to look more pronounced than they had been in the past. My purple shirt came back with sparkles in the armpits. Mind you I have been using dry cleaners for years and years and years and never had this problem. They tried to tell me it was due to deodorant. So, we started washing our dress shirts at home before taking them to the cleaners. The last straw was this morning when we went to get ready and found dress shirts with blood spots on them, almost as though the people packaging up the clean shirts had pricked themselves on a pin and got blood on the shirts they packed up. I have been to this dry cleaners twice and will be looking for a new service provider. The first time I went, I was told that my drycleaning would be ready at 4 pm. When I went to pick up my clothing, a white shirt was not ready on time. They called me at 7 and I had to go back to pick it up. This is not reliable service. The second time I went, NINE of the dress shirts came back with the same black stain on the inside collar and a tag stating that there was nothing they could do to get rid of the stain. When I picked up the shirts, no one informed me of the stains- it was only when I brought them home that I discovered them. Again poor customer service. I have been giving a lot of business to Hacienda Cleaners - 2-3 items for dry cleaning almost every week - but I won't be going there anymore. 3 experiences highlighting the excessive pricing: - Asked to have a full dress hemmed for length - they quoted me $45 (!) for it, VIP Cleaners in Pleasanton did the exact same thing for $15. - Charged $2.25 for washing men's shirts when Nature's Cleaners in Pleasanton does these for $1.75. - Charging me $23 for dry cleaning a coat when the other places charge $15. Shady business practices include- -Extra charge for rush pricing without telling customers. -Not answering questions on pricing under the guise of "system has closed" at the time of drop off. -Lost expensive jacket without taking responsibility. And, in spite of going there so frequently, there is no desire to offer any customer service. They may as well be doing you a favor by taking your business, and act exasperated if you ask them about prices. I was told to check online for prices before coming in! I am done. If you decide to go there, be vigilant about the charges. And hope you get all your clothes back! read more
