Consistently friendly service, and they take the time to educate and assist on odd jobs. For example, I needed a new double-headed zipper for my kid's giant bean bag chair, and they knocked it out with no issues. If there are, they do proactively reach out to communicate what's going on. I really like how they send text notifications for completed jobs. I've gone to them for mostly dry cleaning and alterations. My qualms are that I'm not clear on their pricing structure; I don't see a published menu, they don't starch the clothes upon request, and I believe the service costs have increased recently... read more

//ZERO STARS// brought in my messenger bag and they ruined it. After three failed attempts and almost a month of waiting, they finally admitted they couldn't fix it. Fast forward to today -- my mother-in-law came to visit and fixed the same problem in just 15 minutes, without even using a sewing machine. Having grown up around family-owned dry cleaners in Los Angeles, I know what real professional work looks like. Unfortunately, this was not it. Very disappointed -- take your belongings somewhere else. read more

Hacienda Cleaners - My zipper was broken and they zipped the pocket and told me they couldn't fix it after ruining it. Horrible excuse. - Laundry Services Near Me - Dublin, California

They agreed on a price of $24 for dry cleaning my suit and sewing on the button for an extra $1. They said to drop it off and pay later. When coming to get the suit, they said "$29. It's $5 for the button." I can only assume that they were hoping I wouldn't notice the increase and were trying to take advantage of me not remembering the previously agreed upon price. Simply dishonest. All I can say is be sure to remember your price. Luckily I did. I wouldn't go back or recommend this place based on my interactions with them. They try to take advantage of you. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. They open up at 8:00am and I got there at 8:05 and waited 30 minutes to pick up my clothes. I had an event the next day so I needed them promptly. I called 3 times and no one answered. Decided to go after work but called ahead to ask if it's okay that I'll be there at 6:10 because they close at 6. They said okay they'll be there. Got there at 6:08 and place is closed. I called multiple times to get hung up in the face. Terrible customer service do not go here! read more

Very good service. Very exact. Reasonably priced. What is promised- delivered as promised.

Great team in front desk and also provide detailed explanation about the fabric and the need for dry cleaning

On Monday, I brought two lightweight hoodies for alteration to simply shorten the length of the sleeves. Today, I rec'd a text that my garments were ready for pickup and the cost was $42 for the alteration service. The total cost for the alteration was more than the original cost of the hoodies. Unbelievable... This is another example of price gouging and we're fed up with it... read more

I had been going to Pleasanton cleaners for my business travel clothes and would prefer to support Dublin local businesses, but paying $50 for wrinkles is not what I call good service. I'll have to steam all my clothes in my hotel bathroom once I arrive. My mistake changing cleaners before a very important meeting with my company Vice Prez. I should have looked at their Yelp reviews first, so I'm not blaming them for my laziness in not researching before trying a new business. I really hope they read these reviews and take heed of what customers are saying. They were really nice people. read more

Visited to have my dress hemmed. The women are kind and the turn around time exceeded my expectations. They told me as least one week as it depends on their current queue of alterations work. My request was simple, hem a light weight lined dress. I'm only 5ft tall and the dress was long. Their service is valuable to me because I don't have the tools or skill to do a easy hem. They completed this in under 24 hours. This turn around time will not be my regular expectation and I will give myself more time for hemming. But I was delighted to wear this dress to my bf's bday dinner. Thank you ladies of Hacienda Cleaners for making this possible. read more

I would just like everyone reading reviews for Hacienda Cleaners to know that my every experience with this business has been exemplar! Both owners are on the premises to handle the day-to-day operations, and they service theirs patrons in a VERY kind and professional manner. I transferred all of my dry cleaning business from another Pleasanton based dry cleaner when I was regularly met with an unfriendly manner by the owner, and I have taken both business shirts, dresses, blouses and MANY alterations of a more sophisticated manner to Hacienda Cleaners - EVERYTHING has been 5 star ‼‼‼ I highly recommend this business for your dry cleaning and laundry needs! read more

I've been frequenting Hacienda Cleaners since they opened years ago. They are friendly, professional and do great job with all of our clothes. Our shirts, blouses and dresses are always perfectly pressed and they've removed stains too. I've also used them to hem multiple pants and that's perfect too! read more

Asked to have 5 items cleaned with a specific date and time for pick up. Items were not ready as agreed, and 3 items that were clean were at a different store. 1 item was located at the other location (4 items found) and the 5th was still lost. A week later they find my 5th item and then ask for full price for their services and they would offer a $10 discount next time. Poorly managed, poorly run and disorganized business. DO NOT go there. read more

I had been using them for almost 10 years. While they were most expensive, I didn't mind as these guys always did a good job. However, seems like something has changed this year, especially over the last few months. I have had three bad experiences in a row (broken buttons on my shirts, 2 shrunk cashmere sweaters, and most recently unauthorized charges). When I tried to bring it up to the clerk l, somehow all these are my faults. Fed up so now looking for a new establishment. read more

They will try and overcharge with "special charges" for shirts. Even after you tell them no special handling for shirts cleaned elsewhere with never an issue or extra charge, you will come in and be surprised with huge extra charges. 2 stars as at least the service was fairly fast. read more

Had been using for the last 4 years, but now under new ownership . They lost 2 of my husbands shirts and all they worried about if he had paid for two or not. They said the would deliver personally missing shirts before an important trip yesterday. And they didn't even bother to call. Need to find a new full service cleaner! And the shirts he got were poorly pressed. read more

All right, I don't want to be overly negative because I had a bad experience today, and some of my shirts did turn out OK however some did not which is completely unacceptable. One shirt I dropped off came back today looking no different than the wrinkled mess I gave it to them as. It's ridiculous, and it just does not look professional which is the point of me dropping off my dress shirts at the dry cleaners. I also found out that I got overcharged today for the amount of clothing I actually dropped off. Sorry, but would not reccomend, find a place that is stable and standard. read more

Update: I have bumped up my review for this business from 1-star to 4-stars because Hacienda Cleaners response is very professional and respectful. Most businesses respond to negative reviews with hostility - this one was professional and constructive. All the best! Along with other services, they advertise themselves on yelp saying 'Home Cleaning' (screenshot of their yelp page attached). This morning, I called to enquire about their home cleaning services and the lady on the phone gets highly upset, sighs and yells 'This is Dry Cleaning, not Home Cleaning'. Very rude lady. If you don't provide home cleaning, then don't put false advertising on your yelp page. I only called to enquire about services that you advertised. Upon her rude behavior, I upfront told her to check their yelp business page and correct it - not get mean and rude with me for their own false advertising. To that she replies 'I am new here and in training'. Wow, terrifically rude service. Says a lot about a business whose new employee itself is so rude already and doesn't know how to talk with respect to customers. I am never giving my business to them. read more

Pricier but quick-turn Service, they can do same day or early next day so that's worth it if you need something badly fast.

In my opinion, they are incompetent, non-responsive and untrustworthy. I would think twice about trusting them with valuable items. I took my mattress cover to Hacienda Cleaners for dry cleaning. I specified that the item must be dry-cleaned and line-dried. After repeated excuses as to why the item was taking so long, they finally informed me that they regular washed the item and it had shrunk beyond repair. This was a $650 mattress cover, and they have refused to compensate me for the loss or return phone calls. I have to resort to small claims court to recoup my losses. read more

Second time I visited this establishment way over priced. It's convenient because I shop at Safeway but I will fine someplace else..

Terrible service. They have two locations. For high ratings they really disappointed me on my first visit. We dropped off rush items for a wedding. They were supposed to be ready the night prior. When I went to pick up the articles of clothing they weren't ready until the very day of the wedding event. Also, I had to pick it up at their second location. Will not be doing business here again. read more

I went to this place and customer service is horrible. The lady that works there also works for VIP cleaning, and when it comes to customer service she is on a different planet. I took my shirts to be clean but instead all my dress shirts had stain on them. When I ask her what happened, her first reply was I will re-clean them, then when I ask who is the owner her reply was to google it. The owners were kind on asking to re do the shirts however there overall works s bad on how the press and clean. Not sure how good is there other locations but I give this place 2 try in month but service and quality is bad. read more

It was a really stressful week for me and my family when I came into Hacienda Cleaners. You see, we had a death in the family and I needed my suit cleaned for the funeral. I brought it in on a Monday and was given a claim ticket for Thursday, which was fine with the services starting on Friday. Fast forward to Thursday evening and my wife goes to pick the garments up and they're not ready. I was livid. I didn't want to have to go back there the next day and pick the stuff up before the funeral. I called them and, in a not so nice manner, insisted that I'd be picking up the garments as soon as they opened on Friday morning and I would not be paying for the services. Shortly after getting off the phone, a different person than the one I spoke to called me back. She politely apologized for the garments being late, offered an explanation, and generously offered to deliver them to our home. I felt terrible. This was incredible. Sure, they made a mistake, but going the extra mile to deliver everything to our place was above and beyond. I wouldn't go anywhere else to have my dry cleaning done. read more

I took a few pieces of the clothes for dry cleaning and one pair of pants for hemming. When I got my garments back the pants were not hemmed. I didn't check immediately after getting the clothes back and only noticed when I wanted to wear that pair of pants 2-3 months later. I have moved out of the Dublin area at the time so couldn't bring the pants back. I contacted owner, sent him the pictures and asked if they could refund the $16 I paid for alteration. I had my comforter clean at this place, at first the lady who work there told me it cost $35 for this comforter so I agreed with the price and leave it there to have it wash. When I came to pick up the comforter the lady charged $48 on my credit card without telling me there is the difference in the amount that she originally told me $35. I will never come here again as they are not honest. If I have a choice to give 0 star I will give them 0 read more

Extremely rude customer service and ruined and missing clothes. A hole burned straight through a dress and another dress gone missing and never returned to me. The woman at the counter (dont remember her name but she had short black hair and was an older woman) said "oh thats too bad" and grinned. Also when i went to pick them up my friend came in with me to have her pants pressed the woman made a joke about how they "match her" which im assuming is because the pants were brown and my friend is of color. Then tried to tell her it would be $200 and giggled. So basically she was either trying to tell a really bad joke or just refusing her service because of her race. Obviously we took our business elsewhere after that. Never would have believed a horror story like this if i hadn't seen it. I'm so shocked and appalled. Don't go here unless you hate your clothes and yourself. read more

Their quality of work is good, however they get negative marks for timeliness. I took items in Tuesday afternoon sith the expectation that they would be ready ny Thursday at 5 pm. I called Thursday around 230 or 3 pm to ask about my items to which I received a swift comment that the items aren't ready if I haven't gotten a text message yet. Okay, that's fair since my ticket said 5 pm, however, I never received a text message. I go in to pick uo my items around noon and my items are still not ready for immediate pick up. Instead, I wait as they finish folding it. I ask about a discount because my items were a half day late. I didn't get one, and was told they could have folded it for me yesterday at 5 to hand it to me. Two problems with that 1) my items should be ready to go by 5 and 2) how am I to know that was a possibility when I had been told I would receive a text message when mxy items were ready. In all, these folks do good work, however, timeliness is important for someone like myself who's constantly running around from place to place. So, if you don't mind making a later pick up than scheduled, they're great, but if you're counting on items being ready on time after two days, maybe pass. read more

If I could I would have give a zero rating to them They are the worst dry cleaners I have ever dealt with. Firstly, there prices are extremely outrageous. Second, the staff is extremely rude and misbehaves Third, they messed up on my delivery. I was going out of town and needed my stuff. They did not have it ready in time.... instead of being apologetic, they started fighting with me... the two ladies there are extremely rude and misbehave. In this world of competition, where every business should value their customer and be nice to them, these guys are extremely snobbish and show attitude to the customers. I am never going back there. We have been customers of Hacienda cleaners since moving to Dublin, two years ago. We have had numerous problems with them but the people that work there have been very nice and the locations convenient for us so we have given them the benefit of the doubt each time. First there was some kind of fire at the facility that cleaned and laundered our dress shirts. Several batches came back smelling dirty. Second time, we noticed that for whatever reason under arm marks were starting to look more pronounced than they had been in the past. My purple shirt came back with sparkles in the armpits. Mind you I have been using dry cleaners for years and years and years and never had this problem. They tried to tell me it was due to deodorant. So, we started washing our dress shirts at home before taking them to the cleaners. The last straw was this morning when we went to get ready and found dress shirts with blood spots on them, almost as though the people packaging up the clean shirts had pricked themselves on a pin and got blood on the shirts they packed up. I'm done! Save yourself the headache and look for another dry cleaner. read more

I have been to this dry cleaners twice and will be looking for a new service provider. The first time I went, I was told that my drycleaning would be ready at 4 pm. When I went to pick up my clothing, a white shirt was not ready on time. They called me at 7 and I had to go back to pick it up. This is not reliable service. The second time I went, NINE of the dress shirts came back with the same black stain on the inside collar and a tag stating that there was nothing they could do to get rid of the stain. When I picked up the shirts, no one informed me of the stains- it was only when I brought them home that I discovered them. Again poor customer service. I have been giving a lot of business to Hacienda Cleaners - 2-3 items for dry cleaning almost every week - but I won't be going there anymore. 3 experiences highlighting the excessive pricing: - Asked to have a full dress hemmed for length - they quoted me $45 (!) for it, VIP Cleaners in Pleasanton did the exact same thing for $15. - Charged $2.25 for washing men's shirts when Nature's Cleaners in Pleasanton does these for $1.75. - Charging me $23 for dry cleaning a coat when the other places charge $15. Shady business practices include- -Extra charge for rush pricing without telling customers. -Not answering questions on pricing under the guise of "system has closed" at the time of drop off. -Lost expensive jacket without taking responsibility. And, in spite of going there so frequently, there is no desire to offer any customer service. They may as well be doing you a favor by taking your business, and act exasperated if you ask them about prices. I was told to check online for prices before coming in! I am done. If you decide to go there, be vigilant about the charges. And hope you get all your clothes back! read more
