My wife and I signed up as new patients since the office is located close to where we live. The problem began with the front desk when the woman with the perpetual pout made us come back three times with various paperwork requirements before accepting us as patients. After one cursory visit we attempted a follow up visit, were confirmed by text twice, only to be told there was no record of our appointment when we arrived. Perpetual pout told us a third party vendor handeled the texts and they had no control but have a nice day and just go away. We have private party insurance and medicare which they accepted. This is the most appalling treatment I have ever had from a doctor's office. This doctor says he is accepting new patients but he needs to control his front desk if he expects return patients. read more

I have come to Dr. Nguyen for over 10 years. I absolutely trust him with my health care needs and he is extremely professional. His wife is always so kind and friendly and the staff is the best. Dr Nguyen has been my PC for over 10 years. The wait is never more than 20 minutes and I can usually get an appointment on the same day, which are two great things for people who are busy. At times I have felt rushed, but I do appreciate his to-the-point style, and I have never felt as though I have been misdiagnosed or not given the proper treatment that was needed. His office is a little gimmicky with all the advertising for other services offered..but I guess that's a good way to get the word out. Most of the nurses are super nice but the receptionists are usually lacking in energy and not the most helpful. They are nicer over the phone. read more

Dr. HAC Nguyen is a fine Dr. i've been going there for over 15yrs but like someone said in an earlier post the receptionist needs an attitude change. The nursing staff are pleasant and professional. i went in for a regular Dr. appointment for blood work and the receptionist was charging me $45 Copay and $20 for lab work. When i questioned the Copay i noticed a little attitude bu ignored it. She replied back with something had changed on my insurance. I thought that was very odd but i think the lazy receptionist probably didn't call to verify the information. I went ahead an paid it because i didn't want to cause a seen. i immediately called my insurance company and they informed me my Copay was only supposed to be $20 and BTW this isn't the first time they've done this to me. Beware if there's nothing else available because the receptionist is incompetent or is running a scam and pocketing the extra cash. Who knows how many people she's over charged. read more

I've gone to Dr. Nguyen for minor illnesses in the past and haven't had a problem. He prescribed an antibiotic and everything worked out fine. I went in with concerns of a serious condition of a DVT (blood clot) and he pretty much shrugged it off. He was unconcerned and apathetic. I was the last appointment of the day, and he was ready to go. He ordered an ultrasound, but didn't send orders to the imaging center; therefore, I couldn't schedule the test. Apparently his office closed right after I left, so his website instructed me to text a number with concerns, so I did and he called me back stating their off closed at 3:00. I should just call again in the morning to have his staff fax over the orders. He seemed truly unconcerned and annoyed. I ended up choosing another GP who immediately got me into imaging. I was sent to the hospital for DVTs and a pulmonary embolism. If you have a cold, he'll prescribe drugs and you'll be fine. Other than that, avoid. You'll be disappointed like I was. read more

RACIST DOCTOR. My father in law has been going to this place about three times he had really bad experience with this doctor my FIL doesn't speak English and when we made his appointment we told the receptionist that he doesn't speak English and that he needs a translator (he is Spanish speaking) the first time everything went ok the 2 last times he went the staff didn't want to translate for him even tho the staff does speak Spanish and the doctor got mad and gave an attitude to him saying that "he has to learn english" he knows that we know that but if you are gonna have that attitude towards non English speaker patients then don't accept patients that doesn't speak english. This doctor is very unprofessional, racist and he discriminates people, really crazy for someone that's obviously an immigrant as well if I could give him 0 stars I would, his license should be revoked. read more

Sent my husband for an appt to do lab / blood work. After billing my insurance company for that visit, results came in two days later. He needed a prescription to treat something very common according to the bloodwork. Dr Nguyen refused saying he had to come back in, pay another office visit to be handed this prescription. I have being seeing Dr. Nguyen for years. First of all He has turned his family pratice into a botox joke. Secondly I went into his office in alot of pain he diagnosed me in 2 min flat. Then offered me a medication I told him doesnt really set will with me because I have other issues and my other doctor told me to stay away from it. He laughs it off and pretty much calls my doctor a moron. I asked a few more times to not be perscribed it- he did not care. He perscribed me it with a 2 min diagnosis. 2 days later im in the hospital needing emergency surgery because of his mis diagnosis and medication. I stayed in the hospital for 5 days. Finally I get home and guess who calls... His office saying they have found something in my lab results. I was pissed and told them off pretty much. 1 week later ya call? F U Dr. Nguyen. You only appreciate your doctor when you really needed him/her. I had an eye infection which caused me tremendous pain. It felt like there is a cut or sands in my eye, which further exacerbated with every blink of the eye. All I wanted was for the pain to go away, but I did not want to pay the exorbitant cost of the hospital emergency visit. 99% of the doctors you call would not give you an appointment the same day even if you are willing to wait, but Dr. Nguyen will. He has accommodated me every single time I needed to see him for an ailment. When you are sick, you want the pain, discomfort, or suffering to go away and quick. And if you have to wait a few days for an appointment to see a doctor then I don't care how special that doctor's office is, I don't want to go there. I have now seen a Doctor stoop to some pretty low level of service. My wife took our 16 year son to Dr. Hac (he's been a patient for years) because he was ill with something. The receptionist handed my wife a form that says (and I quote) "The Annual fee is for services we provide in addition to your office visits". In a nutshell, the Doctor now wants his patients to pay $25 a year to do the following: -Fax prescriptions -Prescription changes -Respond to prescription refill requests -Postage, billing and statement fees -Dr. after hour calls -Patient online access (you now have to pay to use a doctors website) -Communication with mail order pharmacies -Technology fees So the way I understand it, the good Doctor doesn't know how to manage his practice or make money, so he is going to charge each and everyone of his patients for the services that are normally part of a doctors office expense. Then, to add insult to injury, after administering a FLU TEST the Doctor handed my wife a bill for $45 and told HER to file it with her insurance company. Now let me get this straight... The Doctor wants to charge me $25 a year for administrative and office duties (see # 4 above), but then wants me to file for the insurance, not him. When I called and demanded a refund I was told I'll have to wait for the office manager to get back. I made it easy... I called Visa and cancelled the charges. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR UNTIL HE CHANGES HIS WAYS! read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had with any doctors office, if you could even call this a doctors office. I went in for simple bloodwork because I've been having symptoms of diabetes and I was having trouble finding a doctor that could get me in the same week that I called. The doctor really didn't offer me any advice on anything I asked him and the girl who took my blood did not know what she was doing. She clearly had never drawn blood before and had to get someone to help her. The second girl who came in the room tried to tell me my blood won't come out? Literally, one of the best doctors around. He really is a genius in all aspects of the word. He is so intelligent that if he put his mind to it he could almost find the answer to any ailment. But to play the devils advocate He's growing rather large which is good for him he deserves it, but not necessarily great for us soon to be long time patients because he is getting so busy I don't really know if he'll necessarily have the time to figure all things out the way he could if he had more time to study our individual cases thouroughly. Which is another thing....his billing practices. I could complain and complain about his annual and referral fees. But yesterday I was sitting in his office waiting to be seen and I looked up and I saw a sheet that he had written quoting an article that was in "USA Today" about all the times doctors have to do things in between patients that they don't necessarily get paid for. And literally they suggested this plan with annual fees. The exact way he was doing it. And I started thinking to myself how sometimes we take the human out of doctors too. He gets paid good for the things he does. But he probably spends just as much time on research and continuing education which has gotta be tough and at times when trying to juggle a family and oh by the way he gets sick too and has to pay for out of pocket insurance that's expensive as hell plus malpractice insurance, you start to see why sometimes he seems stressed out and it all makes sense. And the way he explained it in that paper on the wall made me not mind paying that fee so much and appreciate his hard work for people in general. But hopefully along the way he gets a junior doctor that he personally scouts out that's highly intelligent and analytical as he is. He could train him himself to take on newer patients only seeing him in extreme cases. That way he still has enough time to see his established patients for longer. Because in paying those fees I'm not willing to sacrifice any quality in a doctor. That has not happened yet, but if it does I will be highly agrravated beings I have an individual policy that is about 1290.00 a month and then those extra fees plus prescription costs and I don't make s much as doctor or lawyer so I'm sure you can see how frustrating it could be if I had to sacrifice quality. His staff is wonderful too. They actually helped make his practice what it is today. It's always a good sign when a staff is as good as the doctor. Needless to say if your looking for great doctor he's the guy. I endorse him. Appointments are easy and fast and wait time not so bad. Most UN- professional health care person, I have ever seen. I went to him because of his website, and reviews, and he is one of the few out there that accepts cash. He didn't listen to anything I had to say, the "interview" didn't last two minutes, he looked at my history, and asked a question, then wouldn't let me answer. HE DOES Not take his time to listen to you, he immediately wants to tell you what and how to continue without hearing your history. Just took my baby girl there to see Dr Nguyen. I had not seen or spoken to Dr Nguyen in 15 years. The way I remembered him still holds true today; He is Very intelligent, very caring, very conscientious, good bedside manner...He was thorough, explained to us her Diagnosis and instructions on her medication and At Home care. Although Brittany was sweet and courteous on the phone, The rest of the staff was not quite friendly and caring. It's a shame too because Dr. Nguyen IS a great doctor. I trust him enough to take my only daughter, whom I adore and am protective. He was courteous, warm and caring. Today December 22, 2016 - My husband had an appointment with Dr. Nguyen for a physical check up and a rash that he has in the leg. Please note the appointment was rushed 5-10 min the doctor did not spent the appropriate amount of time with patient. The physical was not done, because he was not fasting. When setting up the appointment they should have inform us about it. Partial of the physical could have been done without the blood work. I would not recommend this place at all. We had to pay first time patient fee - which was not worth it plus the copay. Was better of going to CVS or the RediClinic. read more

this doctor was fine when I did have health insurance. The first time I went back after Ioss coverage he was rude and completely unprofessional. I called to ask how much the fee was to see Dr Nguyen and was told starting at $75 which was fine until after I seen the doctor and had to pay $135... I was prescribed 4 prescriptions and talked to him a measly 5 minutes, and it was out of his convince to answer any questions that I may have had. The fee I dont mind to pay but if I pay $135 to you you better be polite cause bad karma will not keep you in business. Highly not recommended read more

A nice guy - I presume a good entrepreneur however - too busy and too diversified to provide quality attention to patients. I think he is probably a decent physician - but does not take the time to do a thorough exam to come up with the appropriate diagnosis always. I would strongly recommend not going here, my experience here was horrible. First, it took the front desk over and hour to tell me they couldn't get a hold of my insurance to figure out what my co-pay was. Then she told me that they were going to charge me the full amount for the visit and then refund me the difference. People DO NOT fall for this! That's a scam! they make you sign a paper agreeing to pay the full amount and then they will NOT re-fund you the money. So, after figuring that out I told the front desk that I know I have coverage and that she needed to call them again, because its an automated system! So, after telling her this my insurance suddenly worked fine, and I payed the regular co-pay. But, the worst Wasn't over. Once the doctor came in and realized his scam didn't work, he rushed me out of there as fast as he could. He never even formally introduced himself to me and, told me good bye as he was sitting down typing on the computer. I had to let myself out. This man is clearly a doctor for all the wrong reasons.
