They have many items on par with typical Goodwill donations, but for 3 times the price. For example, a $38 Sonoma leather jacket from Kohl's. Regarding service, the clerk clearly did not plan to speak to me. However, I kept eye contact until she was forced to acknowledge me. At which point she said hello and I replied in kind. The next customer who entered received a much more enthusiastic greeting that I did. Towards the back, a male clerk walked by me several times, but also didn't speak. Overall, it's a cute set up, but not worth the time or the consideration of spending money. Especially if they can't be bothered to speak.

The store was well organized with a good selection of items of interest to me that were reasonably priced. Some thrift stores have really upped their prices, so these seemed pretty good to me. I'll be stopping back whenever I am in the area to look for needs and treasures.

Their prices used to be quite good but they continue to go up so it's give-and-take. My most recent…read morefrustration had been when purchasing a wood finished item. Thet always stick their price tags right in the middle of items. I mentioned to the sales person that it would be great if they could put their price not in the middle of a table, but someplace less damaging. She went onto basically tell me it was my fault because of how I probably took my sticker off (note you can see items in their store where they have changed a sticker, and you can see it has taken off the finish). And I said that I was just trying to be helpful, to which they replied that it is how the boss wants it and they listen to their boss not to a customer. So unnecessarily rude. I truly was trying to give constructive feedback.

I really wanted to love this place, especially with its claim of being the "world's biggest." While…read moreit's certainly packed with an incredible array of items, that density actually makes for a frustrating shopping experience. The aisles are so crammed that it's impossible to navigate with a shopping cart, which really limits your ability to browse and buy. It's a shame because there were genuinely interesting items, from high-priced antiques to thrift-store finds, but the difficulty in moving around made it hard to truly appreciate them. After driving over an hour and 15 minutes to get there, leaving empty-handed was quite a letdown. While I appreciate that they at least had a bathroom, which allowed me to stay as long as I did, the overall hassle overshadowed any enjoyment. I'm not sure if I'll make the trek again for a second chance. I had high hopes, but ultimately, this place just didn't live up to them. Still worth a try. I did find that the employees just sat around on their phones so I couldn't get a feel of who they are. One actually scolded me for trying to pick up and item

There's a large selection of books, most 3.00 and under, mass market paperbacks 50 cents, and periodically there are good old ones from the 50s or 60s. Some items are cheap. Some are costly. They also sell the very high priced stuff online, but there's still plenty of great stuff in the store itself. The bathrooms are old but super clean and not creepy like in some places. There are real antiques, beautiful furniture, art works, plastic storage tubs, all kinds of glassware, figurines, etc. Don't listen to the complainers. I go whenever I can and almost always find something I want.

I come to this Goodwill on occasion, sometimes to donate but mostly to browse. I love sifting…read morethrough racks and thrifting for treasures. My thought process, when thrifting, is: keep your parameters broad like "holiday decor" or "brand name clothing" and manage your expectations. Some days I might not find anything at all, but other days I will find an item for $5 that retails for $40. In the past, I have purchased Boden (sweater vest) and Cloth and Stone (brand sold at Anthropologie) at a significant markdown. You really have to sift through the racks and if you have a good eye for material, cut/style, and enjoy the thrill of a hunt, include this Goodwill location as part of your thrift store expeditions. You will find me googling brands on my phone in the middle of sifting, because I am curious about brands. I'd say less of their clothing is vintage, and more of it is donations from brands I recognize at popular retailers. When you walk in, the smell of air freshener will hit you pretty hard so if you can tolerate that, you should be all set. The best finds (to me) have been in the women's clothing sections (tops specifically); less so for kids toys, dresses, bags/purses or any other section. But... it depends on the day, week, flow of the donations as to what inventory you will find on the shelves. Overall, it's always been a pleasant experience here! They have a drive-through donation drop-off at the side of their store that makes donations really convenient as well.

Meeting and evaluation of my fathers house and property were pretty straight forward. They said…read moreall the right things and checked all the boxes my siblings and I were looking for. Myself and my son did a LOT of organizing, cleaning, moving furniture. Communication once we hired the company was so so at best. A lot of things were "let me check and get back to you", which ended up with me having to reach out again to follow up. I walked thru my dads house and garage the day before the sale and saw how they priced everything. My dad lives very rural, in the middle of the country so we did not expect a huge turnout but there were people in line waiting with a constant flow of people both days. Day 1 is suppose to be full price as listed yet several of my friends went to the sale and were ready to pay the full price listed and only ended up paying 1/3. Seems like they were wheeling and dealing on day 1. Which we did NOT agree to. WHAT?? On day 1 you asked $20 for something listed as $60? My dads riding lawn mower was priced at $1400. It didnt sell the first day so I knew it would go for $700 on the 2nd day. When we got our itemized list of what sold we saw that the lawn mower sold for only $300!! a 12 piece oak amish dining room set sold for $100, that was a 1/8 of what it was listed at. We paid $1500 for their "fee" and a 65/35 split. Then told that we didnt have to pay thr $1500, that the fee was asked for if the home was determined that it would bring in a profit. When we received the check and itemized list the $1500 was taken out of the profits and the remainder was done at the split. We ended up after all the work and back and forth with $400. a full 3 bedroom home! The itemized list left out A LOT of pieces that were no longer in my fathers home but were not on the list as sold. I asked if anything was going to be taken for consignment at their store and was told no, so not sure where these items went. My father lived very simply so we were not expecting a huge result but really felt we were taken advantage of and it was a HUGE waste of time. I put in a lot of man hours and had I know I would have either A. let them do all the work or B. Did the work and held the sale myself! NOTE-I have been told by multiple people who frequent their sales and many others, as well as people who have hired them in the past, that they will have their regulars (*who resell) come and give them the deals on items. I cannot confirm this but hearing it from many different people gives me pause.

I came in expecting…read morereasonable prices and a decent variety, based on what I'd heard, and left wondering where the value was supposed to be.The whole experience felt like a middle-aged man trying to sell a 2000 Chevy for $15,000 because he "knows what he has." The prices are wildly inflated, while the selection does very little to justify them. If you're charging premium prices, there should at least be premium variety and quality to match. As for the customer service, it was practically nonexistent. No one seemed interested in speaking to customers until it came time to promote or push their program. That alone left a pretty bad impression.1/10. If you enjoy paying too much for clothes, having a painfully limited selection that feels like it's mostly just teams, and being treated like a potential sign-up rather than an actual customer, then by all means, this is the place for you. Otherwise, save your money and shop somewhere that actually understands what good value and customer service look like.
