I didn't want to go the additional 150 miles needed before Monday without having the oil level checked, and I'm no longer local to my guy. Hmmmm, I drive past Campbell's in New Bethlehem and it looks like they are open so I drive in and ask if they can help. I explain the situation and am told that they'd be happy to help and for 150 miles until service I only really need enough oil to get me home, not a full change -- or a full $$ charge. In less than 5 minutes I was on my way. Oil light satisfied and a "$5 will cover it" kind of transaction later. Would my engine have blown up? I don't know, but it was nice to be sure because these things are way outside of my comfort zone. I'm just thankful that Campbell's was there!

I will definitely be going back.THANKS PRYS.

I scheduled an appointment two weeks ahead of time and then they literally repeated the code saying go back to me and say that it wasn't then you wasn't on like I knew like I didn't know that and didn't fix anything then refused to do the Transmission service because they said they don't recommend it even though I've had it done every time it's due and even if they were gonna do it, they didn't have time today which is ridiculous considering I had it scheduled in my service request but has audacity to charge me $100 but didn't fix anything and want me to reschedule my service like I don't have other things to do and didn't go out of my way to make this appointment and keep it. So $100 later I don't have my truck fixed. I still don't know anything more than I knew when I got there and I don't have my transmission fluid changed because they recommended against it and then didn't want to do it today because they did do it, which is ridiculous.

After 4 hours of my insurance company trying to find a company that was open to help us, a guy showed up. Only to tell me that I melted my idler pulley and he can't help me. He did refer me to another company that wasn't open til 8am. HOVIS Truck repair was the name and when the guy finally answered, he was a Godsend!! His first priority was to get us off the road and in a safe place. (Broke on 90east not safe). I asked what the cost was going to be because I was working with limited funds. He said that he wasn't worried about that, we could talk it over later. Oh, by the way, I had a 5'X8' enclosed u hall trailer with me. So HOVIS Truck Repair shows up and tows the truck and trailer back to the shop, runs to another shop for my pulley, replaces it all done in about two hours!! Not only that, total cost INCLUDING the tow was so affoedable. what an amazing company. The driver told us that they "Never say no to a job". AWESOME.
