Angela Soto is a phenomenal acupuncturist but she is more like a wise soul who is a true healer beyond her excellent skills of acupuncture and knowledge of herbal medicine she is a great researcher of healing modalities that work. And she combines them specifically for the patient. I have had great acupuncture in my life but she goes above and beyond as a healer. I always look forward to coming to an inviting office where I am met with Hannah, the office assistant. Her kindness is always appreciated and she always has a smile to greet you. And then you are escorted back to your room. Angela appears and greets you with joy and the ability to change a perspective that is negative (me) into a dynamic hopeful soul. I admire her ability to catch my thoughts in mid air and show me my patterns of behavior with empathy and love. I have been driving a long distance just to get care at Blue Root. Driving through Charlotte traffic just once is enough for me ,but I have been coming to see her since last October 2023 almost weekly so I am used to the drive now. I make Tuesday's my self love day and try to remember to bring more joy and love in this world also. I have been inspired to do so! Feeling grateful for finding such a beautiful gem. Angela Soto is the real deal! Enjoy your time with her as well! I certainly am and will keep coming back! She has certainly saved my life for the better and I am so grateful to keep learning from her. She is a wise woman who is a natural healer that brings joy and hope to her clients. And that to me is an act of love. I wish for her to have huge blessings for following her heart and passion for bringing healing to a community!

I was told there was a domino's pizza next door. I changed and laid on the bed. The smell intensified. After a few minutes, the masseuse stopped to remove the crock pot that warms up the stones. The smell was the crock pot burning. The masseuse then asked if I wanted an essential oil to diffuse the smell. The masseuse opened the essential oil. I should have asked for a different room as I am sensitive to smells, but I didn't. The smell was alarming and concerning. The massage itself was nice. The masseuse was a very nice woman. Since I booked custom massage through ClassPass, I wasn't asked what customization I wanted.

You go to work for the morning, drive an hour to the airport, and then sit in the most perfect posture possible to not cause further pain for, not one, but two delayed flights. When I tell you that Dylan and Balance Massage saved my entire trip, I mean it wholeheartedly. My sister was so glad to see Dylan had availability to save my shoulder and neck, because she is fully aware of how I get when I have muscle pains. I booked a 90 minute hot stone massage, and Dylan put in WORK for all 90 minutes. As an avid massage enjoyer (I have held memberships with different massage therapy companies for the past 5 years), I truly believe this was the best massage I've ever had. I mentioned to Dylan that I get massages every month and that I would definitely need the deepest tissue massage possible - he delivered from the first minute to the last. Especially with 90 minute massages, therapists need to take a break from the deep tissue and work on hands and feet and other more gentle spots. But Dylan understood that I needed my neck and shoulder to be normal again and mostly focused on my problem areas for the entire 90 minutes. I wish this was my primary massage spot, but I will absolutely be returning the next time I visit Fort Mill!

When the pressure was too intense and I said so, the massage therapist quickly adjusted to a slightly less intense method. A few times questions were asked about preferences to ensure that my massage was delivered to my own liking, and I very much appreciated that. The chopping and the knocking is not for everyone. The warming on the massage table was welcome, and I was very comfortable throughout the experience. Safety would be a concern however, as I never signed a waiver, filled out any forms to disclose any personal information or pre-existing conditions that may impact the massage. I'm used to filling those out and noting any areas of pain, prior surgeries or medical diagnosis, etc. Was never asked if I have had a massage before either that I recall. Price quoted over the phone was $90 for one hour, matched the pricing displayed on arrival and was the price changed. Pricing displayed under the table that you see when you lay on your stomach was older, should likely be removed.

One lady does my right leg for about twice as long as the other leg. The one doing my back seemedto be digging for gold as hard as she was pushing. Then when I paid with a card and was going to leave, very sore and dissatisfied and I get "You pay tip in cash?" I was about to just keep walking but I gave her a $20 and then get "This is for one?" No, that's to show you how poor of a job you did. If I'd had a $1, THAT would have been the tip.

We got to the room and stripped down and had an alright massage. The ladies would ask us our preference for the massage and I needed it softer at times and harder. We were also given the lavender oil option for $10 more to which we declined as the regular oil sufficed. The downside is there was no hot stone like I'm used to getting and the ladies talked to eachother laughing for probably about 10-15 minutes of the whole massage. Sometimes they would whisper but I wanted to relax and just hear the sounds of the music. The massage oil was also on the other side of the room instead of them having it nearby so they would have to stop at times and walk all the way over to reapply. We still tipped them $20 each but next time I would do single massages to avoid conversation during my paid time. I'm glad I could finally stop by and experience it after always driving by it my whole life but for the price I could get a better massage in New York.
