They are thoughtful enough to ask for you in the middle of making the sandwich if they need to adjust something or to even confirm if you really didn't want cheese or just missed that category on accident. I always ask for extra sprouts and a little bit of mayonnaise, and they've consistently (to varying degrees) honored my request. There is a bit of variability with how your sandwich turns out (they have a lot of different staff for making sandwiches), but it's usually not dramatic enough of a variability where it doesn't still result in a good sandwich. Also, even when it is extremely busy during lunch time, I never feel like I'm waiting for too too long. There is not a specific waiting location for sandwiches, so sometimes you might stand in front of something another customer is trying to access. Otherwise, there tends to be enough room for you to stand and wait around for your sandwich. It's not as big as some other Zanotto locations, but they seem to always have everything I'm looking for. Outside, they have a nice amount of seating with some covered and uncovered spots. They make it nice given that you are next to a heavily trafficked road. I usually take my sandwich to go, and they have napkins at the end of the checkout area for you to take. If you are looking for a satisfying lunch at a good price point, I would heavily recommend Zanottos. I prefer the sandwiches at this location vs. the Willow Glen location.

The service was okay and the ambiance was your typical Italian deli offering wines, cheese, meats, etc. The ornamentation was of interest to view with a lot of football memorabilia. The pastrami sandwich lacked the smokiness and salty pepper. I thought the thousand island dressing was a bit funky but it did add flavor to the meat. The corned beef wasn't savory at all. Yes, both meats are similar, but both were extremely bland. The beef raviolis were a disappointment. Now I understand the highlight of a ravioli should be just that, but sorry, it was mush, not pillow like. There was no constancy. No chewing required. The sauce was not to my liking-it was like eating tomato sauce with sugar. To sweet! Sorry, La Villa, I prefer a more savory garlicky Italian herby flavor for my Italian palette.

I don't always work from home and when I do, I might just work through lunch but I crave that ribeye sandwich and the deli sandwiches are filling and flavorful and just tastes like REAL food. She let me know that some places say "kosher style," but that doesn't mean that they actually serve kosher food! They have both a market full of kosher foods and a cafe. The menu is kind of simple: your choice of meat, which you can get as a sandwich or a plate. Unfortunately, they were out of kabobs when we went, which was my first choice. I went with the chicken schnitzel as a plate because I was interested in the various salads. I chose rice instead of fries, and they gave me a ton of rice! Everything was made to order. The schnitzel was pounded flat and delicious. I liked a lot of the side salads, including one that was red cabbage-based. I bought something similar at the market - hoping it tastes as good. This place is not fancy on the inside, with long group tables, but there were a lot of people coming in either eating lunch there or grabbing it to go. I enjoyed what I ate and will want to come back and try something else next time (hopefully the kabobs).

Every aisle had something unique to discover. The quality of the products is excellent, and it's a great place to shop if you enjoy cooking or putting together a cheese board. I picked up a bag of Lay's Masala chips I haven't had since I was in Mumbai, excited to eat it with my sandwich. The sandwich took about 10 minutes to make and panini-press and smelled delicious. However, when I got home I immediately noticed the color and thought they had mistakenly used roast beef. I looked at some of the other reviews and their doordash image and I'm confused on what I got. The pastrami was missing the distinct reddish-pink color from brining and black bark from smoking, I'm not sure how it was prepped in-house but it tasted like roast beef.
