And since the next day was water delivery day for our town, he was able to deliver it the next day. Additionally, I was searching for a new water system, and he had an open box unit; he was able to sell it to me at a reasonable price. He also arranged for the unit to be delivered with the water. Joan the person who took my called said I should have called right away to notified them the technician didn't show up, I requested a supervisor to take my call, Joan told me nobody was available and transfer me to a full voicemail. American Water should know better who to do business with before sending letters to customers about replacing the water meter. I had to call American Water to request a different contractor. If you get a letter from American Water about replacing the water meter with IN-LINE services, you should call American Water to have a different contractor do it or expect the nastiest customer service from IN-LINE services.
