Hello all, we just like to write a review, since this is the way these days. We hired Organic Dutchman and after 2 years, our lawn is just beautiful. It has some weeds, but that is ok. We love our dog, who plays in the grass and actually, when his stomach is upset, he eats the grass, in order to help the digestive system to cleanse him self. Eating grass which is treated with organics is splendid. No harm and no worries. Grass treated with chemicals is a nightmare, a horror movie. We have so many friends, who lost a dog or a cat, just because of the pounding of chemicals on the grass. It is sad, but they did not know. It is not their fault, they did not know. The label of the pesticide says it is ok after 24 hrs, but is it really? That is why we write this review. Organic Dutchman is so honest and so up front with all they do. We respect them. We actually invited the staff over for our sons graduation party. They were so nice and gave a big check for him. Meant a lot to us. Our son is healthy and also of course played on the grass his whole youth. We recommend this company very highly and you can trust them doing what they say they do, always. Their products are not the same colors as the chemical products, yellow, pink or purple. These products, since these are all organic, are more brownish, blackish in color. One time we asked them to show us the products and they did. They are so good and so professional. They really deserve the best reviews. Every time they perform a step, they go on their knees and pull weeds by hand as well. That is very special, in our opinion. We are both teachers and we have the patience and appreciate Organic Dutchman. We highly recommend them. read more

We started using Organic Dutchman this season and honestly, I wish we had made the switch years ago. Their organic approach just makes sense. No toxic sprays, no weird smells, no worrying about whether it's safe for the kids or pets. Before this, we were using a standard lawn company that left behind that strong chemical smell and signs telling us to stay off the grass. It always felt like a trade-off between having a nice lawn and keeping everyone safe. With Organic Dutchman, there's no second-guessing. They use natural treatments that actually work, and I don't have to stress about who's walking or rolling around on the lawn. The lawn looks great--thick, green, and healthier than it's ever been. You can tell they actually care about the long-term health of the soil. They explained everything clearly, showed up on time, and didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. It feels good supporting a company that's doing things the right way--no shortcuts, just solid, natural lawn care. If you want a great lawn without the chemicals, Organic Dutchman is the way to go. read more

I can't say enough good things about The Organic Dutchman! If you're looking for a lawn care company that actually cares about the environment and delivers incredible results, look no further. From the moment I reached out, their team was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They took the time to assess my lawn and explain their organic approach, which gave me confidence that I wasn't just getting a quick fix with harmful chemicals. Instead, they used natural treatments that have completely transformed my yard into a lush, green oasis--without any of the toxic stuff that could harm my kids or pets. Not only does my lawn look better than ever, but I also feel great knowing I'm supporting a company that prioritizes sustainability. Their attention to detail, customer service, and commitment to organic solutions set them apart from the rest. Highly recommend The Organic Dutchman to anyone who wants a beautiful lawn without compromising on safety or environmental responsibility. Five stars all the way! read more

My wife is a longtime teacher in Biology and she is very aware of the DANGERS of CHEMICAL lawn care. She knows all the ingredients of these products and we chose Organic Dutchman for our lawn care many years ago. Thanks so much to this great company Organic Dutchman. Our neighbor who had a dog, did not realize the dangerous results of her dog every day eating a little grass of her lawn to settle his stomach. This neighbor used a chemical company for lawn care for many years and unfortunately the dog got CANCER and died at a very young age. We have had many sad issues like this over the last 15 years in our Town and we feel that this IMPORTANT INFORMATION needs to spread. Please BE AWARE of the consequences of chemicals and pesticides around your home. Just ask your local VETERINARIAN what he or she thinks about all this. Can you imagine if you have children rolling in the grass? Have a care, please. read more

Organic lawn care offers numerous benefits, including improved soil health, a SAFER environment for families and pets, and a reduced environmental impact by eliminating chemical use and promoting sustainable practices.  Organic lawn care avoids the use of synthetic chemicals like pesticides and fertilizers, which can POLLUTE water sources and harm ecosystems. Organic practices encourage the growth of beneficial microorganisms and insects, contributing to a more diverse and resilient ecosystem. Organic lawn care promotes long-term sustainability by focusing on natural processes and building healthy soil rather than relying on quick fixes. We HIGHLY recommend Organic Dutchman. They are the best. read more

We switched to organic Dutchman this spring and couldn't be happier with the way our lawn looks as well as the incredible kind service we have received. We changed from our previous service because our dogs were breaking out in rashes over the spring to fall Seasons. Happy to say no more rashes since we made the change to Organic Dutchman ! They really are the best lawn service out there especially if you have pets and young children!! We also opted for their natural tick lawn service . I was finding numerous ticks on our dogs and in our home but within a month of starting this yard treatment the ticks have literally vanished . We just opted into continuing the same services for next year. read more

Not only does the Organic Dutchman provide prompt service as mentioned in another review, but our lawn looks much better! So glad to be rid of the chemicals. I tried chemical products and couldn't even breathe while spreading. Then one of my dogs had a bad reaction to another fertilizer. When I attempted applying organic products myself I did not get the results I desired. I am very pleased; even my neighbors have noticed!! Finally free from polluting my soil and the water supply. Please try, give it time. You can't expect a miracle overnight. It took a couple months, and now about a year later my lawn is really looking good! read more

I am very impressed with the quality of work Organic Dutchman provides. Since I had a dog, I wanted to be careful what products and procedures were done to my lawn. As a former Science techer, I am very aware of the effects of products routinely put on lawns. I can feel completely confident in the work, the products and the professionals I have dealt with in this company. I take pride in how my lawn looks and yet, had to feel safe for my pet. These are very profeesional and certainly competent people to deal with. I highly recommend Organic Dutchman, ESPECIALLY if you have a pet or a child playing on your lawn. read more

Wow what prompt service, I called Harmon on Monday afternoon and he was over the next day. Very knowledgeable on what to put down on the grass that will get rid of weeds. I didn't want a chemical company to kill off the dandelions being that our honey bees will not get the nutrients they need to make honey. He took care of everything we are very happy. read more
