This fourth generation local company has been taking care of my driveway including new macadam, and then topcoats once in a while, for over 10 years. same thing with many of my neighbors, here in Montgomery county Pennsylvania As an engineering professional, working with contractors both privately and commercially, for over 40 years I can highly recommend H Parker Paving! they are way above average in customer service, very nice workers I am happy to have them at my house, value of work for the cost of the job, good materials, very fussy (when they did my ~2 inch remove and replace macdam on top of old, they did a perfect job). this type of work requires somebody who understands the correct slope for the flow off of water which is super important. read more

I don't usually leave one star reviews but the experience with the representative of this business that just came out to my house is just unacceptable. I was asking questions about the way the work was going to be done and it seemed like the gentleman got upset really quick and started saying things like : " I don't need you to tell me how to do my job"," I have been doing this for 40 years etc " I guess they think they are entitled to do whatever they want with someone's driveway, they must forget that at the end this I my house and I need to know what,and how they are doing the work. After that the gentleman just handed me a card and said : if you want to do it fine if not fine again , and left. Just unacceptable customer service. read more

I'm very satisfied with the entire experience. They literally went the extra mile, taking care of some areas that needed filling and compressing before topping with the asphalt coating . So, I had been pricing out driveway repairs for 3 years and the prices I was getting quoted were in the $8k -4500k range. My drive was not horrible, but it was chewed up pretty badly down near the sidewalk and had huge tree roots busting thru that had me scared someone was going to fall and break their neck. I was debating about signing on with the team that gave me the $4500 quote when I noticed a driveway that had just been finished arougn the block. It looked great and there was the H Parker sign out front, so I though I'd call for a quote. My call took a while to be answered but the kind woman who answered apologized for this and said she would have the owner call me back - which he did in 5 minutes. He was very helpful and said he would personally do a quote that day while I was at work. After seeing and inspecting my driveway, he provided me with several different options on the written quote he left for me in my door. He told me that my entire driveway was not all that bad, just the bottom half, near the street. We spoke later in the evening and he told me he would grind out the roots and then fill the whole driveway afterwards for $2500 - which, after the other quotes, had me a bit skepical. He was very pleasant and responded quickly when I left two follow-up calls for him later that night. He said he would be there with his team at 750am the next morning and that the would be done the job by noon. (I had had a particulary horrible history with contractors, so again, I was not sure what to expect). Well, the next day, at 750am on the nose, he and his men showed up. The team was neat and clean and introduced themselves to me as they arrived. "Junior", as he was called, introduced himself to me as the "owner's son" and was the man I had been speaking with on the phone. He, too, was in uniform and again went over what they would be doing that day. By the time I got our of the shower and ready to leave for work, they were already well under way. My neghbors were all coming out to see what was going on and Junior sold 3 of them right there on the spot and his team got started on those driveways, too. I had to leave for work, but when I returned my neighbor told me the team had been done my drive and another drive by noon, and were returning the next day to do 3 more on the street. Clearly, these guys were good at both sales and customer service. The prices were incredible and the quality was amazing. They even offered to return to seal them for us (for a nominal fee) within a year. If you are lookin for a company who shows up, looks/acts professional and DOES THE JOB WELL, then look no further, these are your guys! read more
