I had searched a different Asia supermarket earlier in the day and while that place had the brand that he was looking for, they didn't have the exact flavor that he was looking for. Sakuraya had it, and they were selling for a better price too than the other place that I had gone to earlier. They also had lots of 2 for the price of X number of dollars deals, and a good variety of brands to choose from as well. I picked up 3 boxes of the curry that my husband wanted and while I was there, I picked up a few drinks as well and a big bottle of Light Soy Sauce. If you're not fussy about best before dates, this is a great place to shop cuz they have so many great deals on products that are expired or expiring soon. After all, "Best Before" does not mean "No good after" right?!

That works out to $2 per onigiri and that's got to be the best deal in town for Onigiri, especially given the size of these ones. Got pretty much the same flavors as previously. Mostly Tuna and Salmon onigiris, some of them with mayo, some of them spicy. The one flavor I took this time that was a new one for us was Kimchi Onigiri. I had tried Kimchi Onigiri earlier this year from Market Ribbon and I absolutely loved it. This one from Kim's Mart wasn't bad but personally, I prefer the one from Market Ribbon. The flavor from that one tastes better somehow. The Onigiri here are better when purchased directly from the Zenya food stall in International Village, but for a quick, affordable and cold bite to eat on a hot summer's day, 2 for $3.98 is pretty hard to beat!

I also appreciate the thoughtfulness of the small drinks fridge beside the checkout, paired with the non-refrigerated drinks on another shelf. My foodie friend and I remark at the price of the frozen, vacuum sealed wagyu and fresh sashimi every time we go. All of them were delicious and the pricing was affordable. There is a parking lot right outside the supermarket. Staff is friendly all the time.
