Definitely worth checking out, it is near the Garden State Mall. The H Mart is a really awesome Korean grocery store. They have an amazing selection of everything from Korean BBQ bar, bakery, and food court. read more

Good place nearby to get assortment of seafood. However the H Mart on Route 1&9 in Fairview has a broader variety.

I am very disappointed in how I was treated at the bakery. The guy that claimed he was a manger was very rude to me because I was confused on how to buy the pastries. He very rudely pointed out the sign by the entrance that I missed. When I went to customer service to complain he ran over to try to intimidate me. He wouldn't let the lady at customer service talk to me and over talked her. I tried calling corporate but was unable to reach anyone. I did speak to the store manager and he was condescending as well and told me it was in my head. Everyone else in the store is really nice. read more

One of the best markets in the area. The prices on produce and seafood are lower than most other specialty markets like Whole Foods and Fairway plus the quality is magnitudes better than Shop Rite. I have never had any customer service issues, I have always been treated with patience's and respect. Those that complained about the customer service I suspect are just the typical self-centered entitled NJ suburbanites. Sorry the staff there is not your personal guide to Korean food and cooking, try using google translate and search. H-mart is my go to fish monger, The fish is super fresh, never smells, clear eyes and all. I always buy whole fish, never filet. read more

Love this Hmart especially since it's so close to my house I usually go to Mitsua but this is good when I need noodles or certain rices...they had everything beautifully stocked and displayed, everything was clean and the employees were super nice...i buy my coconuts in bulk here because they're the sweetest! And the comment about going to China town this is much closer and save a you the toll and parking... I went on a weekday I found parking in front... didn't try the food but the ingredients are all here which I mostly cook all my foods anyway..great store! read more

I went shopping last weekend and now they offer sushi products in Seafood department. Price and quality are soooo awesome. read more

Workers are so rude to you if you are not Korean. I spent good money in here only to be treated in a crude manner by the lady that my child asked a sample from and the cashier at check out. read more

super disappointed with this hmart offerings are very slim, and it's extremely overpriced?? i frequent the hmart in little ferry and a lot of items over there are cheaper, whether through sale or just regular price, which doesn't make sense to me? the location is the only thing this store has got going for itself. the food court is not good and overpriced. read more

Huge and modern H-Mart! Great imported selection of Korean goods. Fresh sushi quality seafood in back of store along with a marinated meat selection. Small food court and bakery and drinks on the other side of store. Great bubble tea highly recommend read more

Love this play. It has a nice section for you to eat and a cool French cafe in the corner with croissants and macarons. I had an early grey macaron which was so accurate in taste. The place has kind employees and plenty of free samples and things to buy. This place is great. read more

We were there this Saturday, the place is very crowded, bought a couple of grocery and Bronzini fish, did not notice there, it's smelled terrible after the grill, have to throw away, the place is opened only on Friday, so it's rotten from beginning, will not shop this place again, need to be inspected by health department ,give minus star if there is one! read more

Rude staff. Not wearing masks properly. The guy at the fish counter refused to clean fish although I waited at the counter for 15 minutes before the closing time. At 7:30 he told me that they don't clean fish after 7:30. I guess it had something to do with the way I looked as the other guy served the other lady waiting in line. read more

I've been looking forward to this location for a very long time and had a feeling that the old Staples space would be too small for the newest addition to the H-Mart family - and I was completely right. Do you get agita from shopping cart traffic within a store? If you do, stay away from this location. Things I did not like: AISLES ARE TOO NARROW: I can't imagine two-way shopping cart traffic..One would think that they would make the produce section extra spacious (as well as other high-traffic areas) PRICING NOT COMPETITIVE: With the exception of the grand opening promos going on, the pricing is quite high (noticeably more than other H-Marts and Korean supermarket counterparts). This location will suit any last-minute needs, but we will continue to go to Han-Nam & the larger H-Mart in Ridgefield for our regular shopping trips. Instead of curating the items that could fit into the allotted space, it seems as if they took a supersized H-Mart and crammed it in, without any thought process in regards to the shopping experience itself. read more

Been here couple of times. I am so disappointed to this h mart branch the Korean old lady cashiers are rude I said hi then they just ignore u they never smile. Then I went today I bought couple of things then the old cashier lady handed me the kimchi and said there's no price so I was like, what am I gonna do? do I have to go there to look for the price? then she took the kimchi in my hand and didn't say anything. She ask someone to look for the price. The other cashier said the price is at the bottom then she scanned it but when I got home I didn't see any kimchi in my bag I am so disappointed to their service and attitude. Worst h mart ever! read more

food court is very bad, onion cause bad diarrhea, the new store should process food very clean. Unfortunately, is not clean, would not go to food court again read more

Ordered on two separate occasions soups at Sangs kitchen. Probably the blandest of the bland soup you could imagine. The Korean beef soup is mehhh, no taste of beef at all. So on another day, what's supposed to be Vietnamese beef soup(is it called pho?), wrong noodles, wrong broth...tasteless bowl of poorly imitated Vietnamese soup. read more

The cafe made my day!! I got a iced hazelnut and strawberry drink. I finished it in like 2 minutes it was so good.

Food court is horrible Ordered donkatsu from Sangs kitchen and soondubu from Ondubu, both tasteless. Breading on donkatsu was overwhelming and barely a sliver of meat. read more

I'm not of Korean decent but appreciate their culture and amazing foods!! Most of all I truly believe in Korean face products and was excited to see their selection...please bring more and a bilingual sales person would be amazing to describe the steps of Korean beauty. Anyone who gives less than 3 stars for this place doesn't know what they're talking about. The food is exceptional especially because this isn't some 5-star restaurant. Their kimchi jjigae is better than most restaurants as well. Everything here is good and on point. Appreciate the space for what it is, it doesn't have to be a huge HMart. They have more interesting selections here. read more

OMG! We were so happy this opened. After we purchased fish on a few occasions, even fresh it smelled fishy. It wasn't until we bought a pork butt and getting it home it stank. We will continue getting packaged goods, but nothing else. read more

I came here mainly for their sushi grade fish. The size and price of the sushi grade salmon was okay but, in that whole section, there were packages that said a later expiration date but the fish itself was already expired (there were discolorations - like a gray/dark spots). It kind of makes me think that the expiration dates aren't even close to accurate. I ate the one I chose that same night because I was not risking anything and I obviously didn't die but I wouldn't try it again tbh. The aisles are kinda tight but that doesn't bother me - just a heads up to other people. The selection was interesting but everything was pretty overpriced I would say, at least for the fruit and veggie side. I didn't pay much attention to like cookies and snacks because I had a one track mind when I went in. They have special kit kat flavors but they were expensive so the few snacks I did see, I definitely wasn't paying the price for. Good luck! read more

This was my first time revisiting this Hmart location since COVID-19. Upon arrival, you can see they're sanitizing every single cart as well as providing gloves and sanitizer for free, which is greatly appreciated. The Target I went to before this didn't do any of this--if they did, it wasn't very evident, so thank you Hmart! I was able to get in and out as usual, and I appreciate the measures even being taken when dealing with the conveyor belts, which are wiped down after each person! read more

One of the best Asian grocery stores around. They don't have much in terms of southeast Asian groceries but for Korean and chinese you can find almost everything you'd be looking for. Awesome produce selection. The food court is also great. My only complaint is that sometimes staff is unhelpful especially if you're having trouble finding a specific item. But the location is super clean and they do a good job of keeping social distancing for the most part. The last few times I've gone there is an intimidating looking line to get to the checkout but it moves very fast. read more

the customer service lady was very nice however the southeast asian cashier or whatever was so rude. How can you hire someone like that. She was very not informative and gave us so much attitude. Please teach her some etiquette. She had glasses on pretty long hair. Spoke no korean. read more

People when was the last time you check your receipt?are you being charge correctly by the cashiers?specially when it comes to the product that you buy per lbs.it happens to me not once but twice already i'm continue to be vigilant about it because they have to be refunded me twice already.$1.50 its not seems to be a lot but if you multiply by a minimum of 200 transaction a day were talking about serious money here.multiply by week or even per month thats a lot of money involve. read more

I am only reviewing their marinated meat department. As a shameful practice, they put in a lot of marinated liquid inside the container to weight with meat. So the meat might end up with $10.99/LB instead of marked $7.99/LB. For this reason, those sales woman at the counter refuse to let you pick up meat yourself or you have to leave. Be alert. read more

I found this store to be very helpful and in a convenient place. The food court is nice and food is delicious!

Hmart employees are very rude, I was there last night and saw signs posting there new business hours which is 9am - 7pm. So today I rushed there and arrived at 6:25 pm, only to find their employees with signs stating they are closed and standing in the middle of parking lot not allowing cars in. So I parked just outside the lot. I then took a picture of the employees hold up the closed sign along with what is posted on the door, but every time I tried to take a picture they tried to hide the signs. I proceeded to the door to take a picture of their business hours, an older gentleman confronted me and I informed I drove a long way, and would be getting only 2 items. He smiled and let me in. When i was checking out, this old woman yelled out to me 'why you here's, i informed i was let in, and would be quick. She then said she will call the police since I took a picture of them in the parking lot. I said please drop it I'm checking out and would be leaving, by then there were 3 employees saying they were closed. After going back and forth I finally was able to check out.. now this is at 645pm. I will avoid this store and wish the owners would inform employees to treat customers with respect, I'm surprised they have return business with su h rude employees. read more

A little smaller than the regular Hmarts unless this becomes the new normal size. Nevertheless, this saves people from having to drive all the way to Fort Lee/Ridgefield. Fresh fish, meats, vegetables and a host of Korean and other Asian ingredients. Plus the food hall. read more

This new H Mart in Paramus looks more upscale than the one in S. Hackensack. Prices may be higher but so is the rent. I think they are doing their best considering the space they have. They definitely utilized the space well and may be over time they will adjust the items they carry based on re-orders. Having them in Paramus saves me half the time and trip to either Ft. Lee or S. Hackensack. I haven't tried their food court but there is none in Ft. Lee or S. Hackensack. As long as they have fresh groceries and Asian groceries this will be the one I will frequent. read more

I heard many great things about H mart from friends that live in the city, so I couldn't wait for them to open. It lives up to the expectations! Very clean store and the marinaded meats are outstanding! Looking forward to going back and trying out the cafeteria (it smelled so good, it's all I'm thinking about writing the review)! read more

Limited selection of veggies and some aren't very fresh. Love the marinated meat section. They need more people to work in the seafood department because they move so slowly and my fish were very poorly cleaned. They also charged me more than the sticker price. Aisles are super narrow. They should have smaller pushing carts. The people that give out samples are very pushy. Other than that it's great, if they don't improve the seafood department I will go somewhere else for the fish. read more

I was sold bad branzino fish today. I noticed it had a foul smell when I got home but ignored it. After cooking the fish with very few ingredients my home had a nasty odor. I was extremely disappointed and called Hmart. They said I would have to come back in with the fish or the receipt. I drove all the way back to hmart with the fish (now my car stinks) and I was only given a refund. This was a huge inconvenience, and waste of ingredients, waste of time, and an additional trip. My husband opened up all the windows and it still smells a day after! You would expect being that this place just opened up they would have offered more in return. I also asked to speak to a manager but was just directed to customer service. What bothered me the most was that customer service said "sometimes branzino smells like that". Excuse me? Rotten fish that ruined my evening? Moreover, there are other Hmarts with cheaper pricing and less crammed than this one. I doubt this store will be successful. Very upset with the quality and customer service. read more
