We decided to make check out the store, and we are so glad we did! Right when we walked through the doors, we were instantly greeted by Joseph, who we totally adore, and the wonderful staff! Joseph did everything in his power to make help us out and made us feel right at home. My wife and I love the whole rustic modern feel, and we felt like kids in a candy store. We saw a long wooden dining table that we really liked, but decided to check out the other well known furniture stores in town before we pulled the trigger. We loved how helpful and friendly everyone in the store was, and we felt no pressure at all. After checking out the local competition, we ended up right back to where we started. Although some of products at the other stores may look nice on the outside, the finish and quality doesn't compare to what we found here. We purchased the long dining table, along with a another round dining table set and buffet table. They delivered everything in a very timely matter, and were so accommodating with our schedule! We ended up going back a few more times to order a few more pieces for the house! Thanks again to Joseph and the amazing team at Reno Tahoe Rustic Modern for the amazing experience. We will definitely be back again soon!

Not sure if she had an appointment, but the gal that came in after us, was quickly being helped. So we just wandered looking at the different options. We did have a gal ask us if we had any questions. Now I'm deciding on getting new bathroom counter tops to my kitchen, so more decisions to be made. I've been wanting new countertops for a while, but had to prioritize with the backyard and the interior of the house. Very impressed with the pricing and choices available.. Of course the ones I liked had a sold sign! Now off to find a fabricator.

I have to emphasize "inquire" because how he treated me without thinking I would eventually purchase the painting was unintimidating, not judgmental, and even exceptionally cordial. This was all through a phone call and emails. Understand that this painting was fairly in high demand, and he could easily just treat me as a "number". But he took the time to have a conversation about the artist, the artwork, and the expectations of what I was looking for BEFORE even having anything on hand for me to consider. His email replies were always the same day or the day after. With much appreciation and excitement, he was able to pull through with what I was looking for; and I became a lucky customer of Stremmel Gallery. If you're gonna hire them to put in basic drip rock and a few plants, they're probably fine although where they lay the irrigation lines makes no sense at all, and makes it very difficult to plant after the fact which I had to do because 30% of what they planted died the first winter . They installed the water feature that has some type of leak underneath it because it is killing the evergreen trees behind it because they are getting overwatered. One of the drains for the water feature is a pipe that was 3 feet from the French drain that goes to the street so it was constantly a lake filled with water. The the irrigation pipes and electrical were run after the trees were planted right down the center section of that planting area which made it impossible to dig and replace the dead trees. I had to hire someone else to come out and reroute the irrigation line and the low-voltage lighting so that Moana could come out and plant replacement trees. Nothing they did make sense or was logical. It seemed to be the down and dirty quickest and cheapest way to get it done.

Thoughts on the venue: The art is well placed on the walls and is easy to see and well illuminated. The information about each piece is also on display next to each piece, making it easy for anyone who wants to view/purchase. There is a bookshelf near the south side of the gallery with local authors who are part of SALC. (There is a yearly membership fee, however the meetings I've attended do not require you to be a member). The gallery itself was clean and well maintained. Lynne has always been eager to help and answer questions thoroughly. I look forward to attending future meetings and being an active member of the SALC community.

Most stores are about a month old, but since this shop was pretty busy with foot traffic, I was unable to verify how long it had been there. Nice furnishings and little tchotchkes. She has been so very helpful by sharing her knowledge and expertise regarding the various countertops, the materials of construction, and any advantages or disadvantages there may be regarding the different types. Marie has also been very helpful with design ideas regarding bathroom and kitchen backsplash tiles. In all these areas Marie has helped us to make well informed decisions which is invaluable as we undergo the process of a new build house which involves so many decisions with so many variables.
