I previously lived in both Cypress and Kingwood. The heb locations I'm used to do things like cook their own turkey breast to make lunch meat out of. The employees know which deli meats have msg in them. I was excited when I moved out this way there was an heb close to my house. I'm very disappointed though. The staff don't know what they are serving. They don't care if you have a special request. The lady next to me in line at the meat counter wanted a meat they had last week and the guy at the counter says sorry that was a special we aren't serving it anymore instead of asking her if she would like to order some because its out of stock. The veggie selection was not very quality. I don't think I found more than 10 dollars worth that I wanted. If you love heb go to the one in cypress if you just need groceries go to Kroger or the Tomball farmers market every Saturday read more

This HEB needs upgrade . fresh veggies are not so fresh . I can't find anything compared to other location its like they caiter to Latino population . I bought meat and milk out date . terrible such small health food section no cafe . read more

This is the worst HEB i have ever shopped at. The aisle are so crowded with display crap you have to walk single file lines with customers just to get through. They have all their offices in middle of store which makes it a pain to get across the store. Just found out today that HEB no longer carries Borden products, how do you explain that. Its prob bc all of the generic crap (2- HEB brand and Hill Country Fair) that is taking up ALL the shelf space. Today Monday (a busy grocery shopping day) they were our of Thomas bagel (wheat), 1% organic milk, Med size eggs, Dont even carry uncle bens whole grain rice, Borden shredded cheese (no longer carry it). Not the nicest HEB in the neighborhood. While the help was helpful, the store has a rather "off" feeling to it. I'm sure their selection is such of other HEBs but this one is not as nice as the ones I'm use to and I would not go out of my way to come here. read more

I ordered my curbside at the incorrect HEB location and spoke with Ricky (I hope I didnt get his name wrong), and he went the extra mile to see if my order could be delivered. I live about 20 minutes from this particular location. Someone to take the extra time help a customer out gets an A in my book!! read more

This week I checked out at Tomball Texas HEB with over $100 worth of groceries. I filled out a personal check and presented proper ID. The clerk rejected my check ... and gave NO reason. The clerk was too ignorant of his own store to tell me WHY. So I went down the street in Tomball and bought the same items at KROGER. Kroger accepted the check and so did the bank ... as I had way more than needed and I knew it. HEB thinks that it is so HOT that it can reject checks without giving a reason. I will go to Kroger from now on. read more

Aug 24, people prepping for hurricane/tropical storm. Parking lot was jammed, low on carts, but the entire staff was ALL HANDS ON DECK! Every cash register open, every team member working hard, and pretty cheerful (considering). The crowd was laid back, well behaved and checkout flow was well managed. I was impressed. They may have been low on some things, but overall, this store met the challenge with grace and hard work. Well done, y'all! read more

This is the worst HEB I've ever been to. The store is dirty and the bathrooms are smelly. The employees are not helpful or friendly. If you need help forget it. All of the employees look like they hate their job. Corporate needs to visit this store and replace the manager. We will just shop at Kroger at the four corners. It's clean and very well stocked. read more

We moved to Tomball 3 years ago and have shopped on a regular basis. We have 5 teenage boys my mother, and me and my wife so our food bill is substantial. Although we also shop at Krogers here in Tomball, we used to give HEB about $1,000/month in business. On 1/29/2012 i came in to return an HEB Cooked Prime Rib that I had bought 2 week previous and a week later before its expiration date it blew up like a ballon. The night manager Rick said I had no receipt even though it was HEB Brand. From the minute I started to explain my dilemma his only objective was to not accept the return and look for ways of ignore a legitimate complain and cheat me out of the $42 dollars it cost. To add insult to injury he even said that if it was a few dollars he would do it. Apparently his ethics were all about the mighty dollar, never mind what is right or wrong. I asked him if he was willing to loose $1,000/month of business. He smiled and said yes. Have never been back since nor will. H.E.B is not a place for costumer service. This place is about as nice as shopping at Walmart. Actually its worst than the Walmart in Tomball. First we have been living in Tomball for 5yrs now, so its not like this is anything new. When you go to H.E.B your lucky if the shelves are stocked with product. Then if there is enough unfriendly staff to help you. There are times I walk in to go to pick up stuff for tacos and there is no meat on the shelves, NONE not even one package of meat. The store isn't busy, then half the shelves are empty. Like I said about if there is any staff, they are really understaffed. They will have 10 lanes open and 2 sackers, so guess what that means. That's right you sack your own grocery's. If you expect the cashier to do it ha that's a joke they will bag slow or look at you like why aren't you bagging your stuff. I am sure when H.E.B does there pricing, they are adding cost to pay a cashier and a sacker. That's why I stopped shopping here, I only go for things that Kroger doesn't have a comparable product. Other than that I have stopped doing majority of my shopping there. Friends in Tomball go to Kroger the staff is friendly and always stocked. Now the tomatoes and pico in Kroger isn't as good. But hey take the good with the bad I guess. One more thing I know a couple of employees that work in there corp. offices and they do get on yelp to help make the company look better.(Not saying they are told to, but they do) read more
