We told our daughter not to use them. In the past they have been so difficult to work with. So today my granddaughter went to urgent medical clinic in San Antonio with double ear infection. Prescription sent to Boerne HEB. They waited around then checked in and it wasn't done. So they came home and had late lunch/early dinner, went back still not done. Returned a last time and pharmacy just closed! Walgreens would have been faster and text her when it was done! 24 hours? At least reasonable! Now my granddaughter is crying in pain, no antibiotics and all we can give her is Motrin until tomorrow morning. Boo HEB pharmacy! read more

This pharmacy is just terrible. I called in an refill for an essential daily medication. It was to be ready the next day. I went to HEB, braved the parking lot mess (!) and waited in line at the pharmacy counter. When my turn came, I gave the clerk my name and DOB and told her I had one refill to pick up. She checked and advised me that they were waiting for a reauthorization of the prescription from my Dr. She informed me they sent the Dr. message as well as myself explaining. I never received a message or call and checking with the Dr., neither did he. Drs. Office said they'd send reauthorization immediately. I received some samples of med from Dr. as it essential. One week later, I CALL the pharmacy to ensure prescription is ready. I get recording they are still waiting for Dr authorization! No messages, no calls, no care about essential meds. I'm done with this circus. read more

Frequently out of prescriptions. Give a date to expect back in stock, but still not in stock. Very busy and therefore do not look for prescriptions that may be in progress or ready. The worst pharmacy I have ever worked with. read more

Unsure what experience others have had - but the staff is always terrific. The pharmacists on staff have always answered my questions about my family's medications and I've never felt like they didn't truly care about answering my concerns. I started using H‑E‑B pharmacy because their prices were a fraction of cvs and Walgreens. Sometimes there is a line - but that's only because so many people recognize their awesomeness. read more

first and last experience with this pharmacy was the worst one I have ever had. Doctor sent prescription over on Tuesday afternoon. I went Wednesday morning and it wasn't ready. They said it would be that afternoon. I waited until Thursday afternoon to be sure. She tells me they had one filled for me but they only keep it 10 days so they put it back. In the span of TWO days, they didn't fill it, filled it, kept it 10 days and then put it back. She said she could fill it again but it would take a few hours. I had my doctor move it. Slow I mean slow as hell .... Had all my prescriptions transferred out and will never return. After waiting over 20 minutes I was asked to circle around.... And re wait there was 15 cars behind me ..... why would I do that..... when all my prescriptions were ready they had entered one wrong and had to renter read more

Most of the staff are fairly kind, but it's always very slow and busy. I'd give it a 3/5 considering they're probably understaffed and just trying to do their best. read more

Pharmacist Amber could have simply answered my question regarding when my prescription would be ready but instead accused me of misappropriate use of my medication and told me she would be more than happy to transfer all my prescriptions to a different pharmacy. Absolutely terrible customer service. I love HEB but I am shocked they allow this horrible department. All the negative comments are true. The cashiers are super lazy and rude. They act like they are all doing yiu a favor. Nothing is a rush.......unless it is their break. I am a Dr and I will NEVER send a patient to them. HEB get a clue and clean house, start over and train some customer service and kindness. Take my advice and go to Walgreens!!! read more

my husband needed the prep medication for his colonoscopy. the young lady at the pickup counter turned us on to an on-line coupon that turned out to save us $20 on the prescription. She was very helpful and waited on other customers while I pulled up the coupon on my phone. Really appreciated the tip. Will be getting all of our prescriptions here in the future. read more

This location can be busy, but so can every pharmacy around here. That's just the way it is. Now take that fact into consideration. This pharmacy (this may come as a shock to some) is run by humans, who, surprisingly, make mistakes. THEY ARE RUNNING AROUND AS QUICKLY AS THEY CAN AT THIS LOCATION SO AS TO SATISFY AS MANY CUSTOMERS AS POSSIBLE. The customer service here is outstanding, so I don't mind waiting an extra (God forbid) 10 minutes when they are really busy. In short, if you expect perfection, you will be sorely disappointed. But if you go in there with the knowledge that they are honestly doing the best they can, you'll be glad you did. read more

Recently moved to Boerne 6 months ago and stopped by to pick up my wife's medication. I politely greeted the person at the window and stated why I was their at the Pharmacy and she just looked at me with a blank stare and said,"okay?". I then gave the lady my wife's name, and proceeded with my business transaction. Most of the time when I go to a pharmacy, the person at the window says, "Hi. How may I help you?" That's courtesy and what keeps the customer coming back. Not, "okay?" with blank stare response. Who ever that blonde haired lady was working the 9am morning shift needs a little extra espresso in her coffee or a new job. read more

The staff at this location seriously needs to get their act together. I have had problems refilling / picking up 3 out of my last 4 prescriptions. The problems have ranged from being told a prescription was not on file that I have filled at least 3 other times, being told a prescription did not have refills when the bottle showed 2 remained and an employee (a heavy set blonde girl) telling me a prescription was not on file because she was too lazy to transfer it from another HEB location. After my last attempt to pick up a prescription, I drove to the location in Leon Springs hoping to avoid any issues. It turns out this is a company wide issue, not just specific to this location. I've been filling prescriptions at HEB for over 20 years and the cashier attempted to tell me I was not in the system and had never filled a prescription there... If my insurance did not offer better prices at HEB, I would have permanently switched to Walgreens by now. read more

Little frustrated. I understand policies and all but my husband called it in at 10 am and they hadn't filled it yet. He's been without his medicine for two days because of not getting off work in time to pick it up. Today after sitting in line I found out that it was 5 min to closing and they would not accommodate us. Very disheartening. Not impressed HEB. read more

I don't like going to this place for two reasons. 1. The rudeness every single time I go. I've never been to this location and not have rudeness. 2. The long wait time. It's never ready when I go back up there. And even after I go back up there 9 times outta 10! They keep saying, their working on it and tell me to drive around again! So ridiculous! I use this HEB pretty frequently. I am always greeted with a how can I help you and a thank you when I'm done I do on occasion have problems refilling through the automated system. It occasionally skips the pickup time option so I have to call back and redo the process read more
