Thankfully though I finally discovered Spring Branch pharmacy which is the total opposite which is no doubt because it's an individually owned pharmacy that takes a great deal of personal pride in its service. It is very efficient and well organized, but it's the fantastic, stable staff which makes all the difference! They're not only super friendly, they're extremely efficient and helpful. In fact there's such a friendly atmosphere at this pharmacy that customers are recognized the moment they step in the door. How often does that happen these days?! Not only that but because I have two insurances that cover vision to a degree, they chose to use the one that got me out of there without me having to pay my 10 dollar copay. I didn't even know my other insurance covered eye exams!! I did find out that I need glasses, and I thought about taking away a star for the news... But that's not their fault, and they really were a lot of fun to visit. (I wasn't really going to take away a star for that.) The first time they sent my medicine, it arrived with 2 stickers on the package- one saying refrigeration required, and one saying refrigeration not required. Their carelessness will cause someone to ruin their medication. I later submitted a refill request, and chose pick up, yet they shipped it to my house which costs an additional $20. I called and emailed them explaining that I specifically chose pick up because I was off work that day, and that I wanted the shipping refunded. They did not even acknowledge my concern. They also chose a flavor for my compounded meds that I never requested, then acted like I asked for it. Needless to say, I switched pharmacies. Don't waste your time here. HEB has a compounding service, and they have locations all over town so you don't have to pay for shipping. They were also $4 cheaper.
