I have had this happen twice, and I am really tired of it. I take 2 beta blockers. I know what they do, I know what they are for, my doctors know I take both, my doctors know what they do and know that we have to watch for interactions. One of them is prescribed by one doctor for one issue, and the other by another doctor for a seperate issue. Both doctors are aware of the others prescription. Recently, HEB would not fill one of them because they called the wrong doctors office and were told that they didn't prescribe it. The prescription bottle has the name an number of the prescribing doctor on it. Is it that hard to read? So I start making phone calls and am trying to get it sorted out AGAIN. I get that there may be interactions between medications, but when you look at my history you can see that I have been on the 2 meds for wuite some time, yet here I am sorting out the confusion of the pharmacy. read more

they're drive-through needs a little help. They don't know how to alter the guest that arrive instead of one side and then the next side they don't know how to go back-and-forth. I say this because I worked drive-through you're supposed to take the next car and alter the sections one section and then you go over to the other section and help that customer in that car, so they really need to work on their service in the drive-through area and it would be really nice if they would smile a little more counter. Much smaller than I'm use to. Lacking in the progressive foods like gluten free and vegan selections. Prices are good but like another customer told me, Walmart's hard to beat. The staff is super friendly and helpful. At the Deli and on the rest of the floor. They give you the time without feeling like I'm bothering them with questions. I would come back because it's closer but def only for fast service and convenience of getting staples. In other words a good store for my husband to go on and out! read more

The worst HEB in Texas. Whoever the manager is either needs training or help!!!!!!! Never use this place is my best recommendation. Had even HEB employees go oh yes stay away. You know it's bad when a 27 year old gets on this app to complain... that being said the PHARMACY is HORRIBLE. Waited over an hour in the drive thu that you can't get out of once you're in it. It was so bad this visit that people were getting out of their cars to see what was happening. This isn't a problem at any other location nor pharmacy I've been too. This is the worst H‑E‑B in the state. The pharmacy never has anything you need. Have to wait days to get medication. Other pharmacy's get your medication to you within 24 hours. The grocery store is often not stocked, and it doesn't have the variety other H-E-B's have. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Looks like they are expanding. We can only hope this will help the grocery side of things. The pharmacy seems to be a lost cause. read more

I just read a review that really criticized the pharmacy at this location as well as the store itself. I gotta say, I'm really surprised because every time I've used the pharmacy, or the grocery side, I've gotten exactly what I needed. So here is my take on the situation. Our H-E-B has probably been here for a while, and what YOU have to remember, is that this used to be a small town, where this H-E-B was perfect for what was needed. Now that the town is rapidly expanding, H-E-B has to expand also, which can cause some inconveniences. So sometimes it's hard to keep stuff on the shelves, especially during the holidays. Don't get your panties in a wad if it's not there, give them a little time to restock it, or ask someone if they have what you need in the back. All of their fruit is rotten. Bought a bag of organic grapes for $6 and it's disgusting when I opened it I also purchased a bag of apples ALL ROTTEN!! Disappointed and disgusted!! Had to Throw my fruit away!! Waste of money. read more

Location very missed managed. If you can go to Floresville or Seguin. Had to wait 15 mins outside be cause there were too many people inside. Very understandable given the current guideline. But after I ask when someone might be going in the young lady allowed 25 people in. Sounds like someone was not paying attention again. Once done shopping only 5 lanes open. read more

They need to offer a discount to senior citizens. Chances are, we've been shopping with HEB for a LONG time and have a certain loyalty to the chain, plus when we get to retirement age, money is a lot tighter. I guess I'll have to check WalMart and see what their prices are like. *sigh* read more

If you can go to any other pharmacy, then do so. The customer service is lacking and even that is an understatement. Employees are snarky and have bad attitudes. Pharmacy users be prepared to wait anywhere from 30 minutes-3 hours. There is NEVER a guarantee they will have your prescription ready. Even if you call in and arrange a time to pick it up 100% it will NEVER be ready by the time they give you. The staff are typically unapologetic and flat out rude. The outside lanes will typically have 10+ cars in line at any given time and the staff has ZERO motivation to help their customers promptly. If you decide to go to the line inside bring a jacket as you will be forced to wait in a very long line down the frozen foods section with a number of sick people around you. Depending on what time/day you go prepare to spend your entire day here. Absolutely terrible customer service. Choose literally ANY other pharmacy. I will never go back. I'm driving an additional 40 minutes out of my way to pick up my prescriptions at the heb in floresville where at least they have a friendly staff. read more

I shop at the HEB in La Vernia. Staff is friendly and courteous, but please HEB teach your staff how to wear their masks. At least one checker, the one next to the one I was at, had her mask just over her chin the whole time I was at my checkout. Even once seemed to remove it but put it right back over her chin and lower lip. This is not the first time I've seen this, last week I believe she was the checker I went to and the same thing, her mask was below her nose and barely covering her mouth. I'd rather see no mask at all than wearing it incorrectly. Most other employees that had masks on were wearing them properly. read more

Thank goodness HEB opened this location. Now we are not forced to shop at the Wal-Mart on Rigsby. This location is clean, well stocked, nice variety. My husband even enjoys this location. He usually doesn't care either way. One suggestion...please add a garden center like some of your other locations have. read more

Moved to the area about a year ago. Shop here for groceries and such but today I used the pharmacy for the 1st time and the girl was flat out rude. As much as I love H-E-B and try to spend as much money as I can their preferred over anybody else I just simply call their gas station to ask them how much their diesel is going for because they advertise it I'm just way out of town and trying to schedule refuels.
