Big surprise on the under side of my nice looking pork butt roast! - The image shows raw chicken pieces, including a wing and a breast, arranged in a white foam tray on a granite kitchen countertop. A paper towel is partially visible next to the tray, and a water pitcher with a red lid is in the background. The scene appears to be in a kitchen setting, with the chicken ready for preparation.

I'm tired of "thinking" I'm getting great meat at HEB, get home and underneath it's all fatty!! Sickens me! Or the date says "good till a few days later" open it and it stinks like a dead animal! Yes, I started making trips back to return my sticky, smelly meat or slimy veggies wrapped in the produce section. Also, where's the Keebler Graham's, Buddha Kombucha, hummus other than central market (HEB)? We don't want all HEB food. Oh, I haven't had hotdogs for a while and was shocked for ballpark franks or $4.92 over a dollar apiece for a hotdog? I can go buy a hotdog and a bun at the gas station for a dollar each already cooked!! I guess nobody's allowed to open at the grocery store in Texas to bring the prices down a little bit. They can charge less especially for produce that they get locally and end up throwing it away in the garbage out back! Is anyone else tired of them monopolizing the area? Little by little they are slipping in Hill Country and Central market Eliminating other brands or making the prices higher than the HEB Brands! Not as great as you think. Making fools of us loyal customers

I would like to preface this review by saying we have been weekly customers for over 2 years since…read moremoving here. However: Extremely disappointed with our holiday pie order. I placed the order by email a couple weeks in advance and was told that someone would contact me for payment. No one did, and I called twice before someone actually took payment over the phone. She totaled it wrong when I questioned the high amount, then recalculated and came up with the right price. I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip for the bakers, I said I would leave a cash tip when I picked up the pies. Apparently she didn't understand that, because when I came to pick up there was already a 25% tip added on, which I thought was rude. Every single pie (we ordered 4) had the driest crust and was hard to cut, even with a sharp kitchen knife. I ordered pies because I was on a tight time crunch with a lot of guests and thought it would save time. Hardly anyone took more than a couple bites and it was very embarrassing because I had hyped up the local bakery so much. They were pricey and not worth it at all. Every interaction with the bakery from the time of order to pick up was terrible. We are so burnt on this experience that we won't be coming back here during the rest of the year anymore. We trusted Thyme and Dough with a special holiday meal and it was ruined. It won't happen again.
