Unfortunately, the hours are pretty inconvenient for working people: M-F 7:30am to 5pm, Sat. 7:30am to 4pm, closed Sundays, not at all helpful for people with 8-5 jobs, because there's no popping in after work to pick up a part. If you can plan your emergencies for Friday night/Saturday morning, it can work for you. The aisles are on the narrow side, and many aren't very well-lit. Hubby's always armed with a small flashlight, and he often has to use it to read boxes, here. He's had about a 50/50 chance of finding what he needs; it's worth the time it takes to check here first, before making the long drive to Home Depot. They have a little seasonal display in the center of the front part, which changes frequently and can be fun to look around in, and often have specials on the adjacent end caps, which usually catch our attention. There's a nice selection of drawer and cabinet hardware, a paint section, an outdoor section, plus many others, and they have attractive displays of windows, siding, and roofing. They can also order anything found on the True Value website and have it sent to the store for you to pick up. While we believe in supporting local businesses, the prices are higher than the big box lumber stores, so if we need enough stuff to fill the truck, it makes more sense to drive out of the area. If we just need a few 2x4s, it's definitely worth it for the convenience.

Now I can't speak for acreage or mileage but you can walk around for hours trying to find the right tree. Not really too many bad ones. Lupton keeps them trimmed perfectly and cuts, tractors them up to the checkout, shakes, drills and wraps it all up for you. You can even jump on and get a ride in and out of the field. All in all a full five stars. Friendly staff, plenty of parking, fire pit to warm up, service on point and even a port a potty when the urge may strike! What more can you ask for?
