During the loading they ripped one of our upholstered chairs and didn't tell us. Then during the unloading they unwrapped solid wood furniture and placed it on concrete. They chipped our wood dresser, chipped a brand new marble coffee table, scraped up the corners of multiple wooden chairs and end tables. They also broke the wire to a treadmill and tracked mud in on our new carpets. I purchased insurance but when I contacted them to file a claim they refused to let me and only offerred to refund the cost of the insurance I purchased. I called them and the rude woman I spoke with tried to blame me for damage to the treadmill and accussed me of inconsistencies and said that the damage was normal wear & tear. I will be pursuing my claim further, but please do not use this company if you think there is a possibility you could want to file a claim on your damaged furniture. They are the worst.

The movers arrived right on time for an 8 am start. They knew their stuff. In addition to moving a couch, desk, and chair among other items, they moved my 55" flat screen tv and my Queen-sized sleep number bed with no problems. They do charge an up charge to pack the tv into a specific moving box for flat screens, which I thought was fair and much better than them simply trying to wrap it. They worked quickly and were done loading in 90 minutes. They were also familiar with my new building and knew where to park to unload and quickly got me set up and everything was completed by 1 pm. Moving is stressful, and the movers saw me when I was not at my best, and their friendliness, good humor, and competence really helped me get through the day. I thought the pricing was competitive for a professional service. I did call other companies to compare, and one of them wanted to charge 3x the price to move the flat screen tv, and didn't want any responsibility for the sleep number bed!! Just silly. Instead the move consisted of half the crew, and it took about 14 hours across 2 days. My husband had to essentially join the crew just to get through the move. It feels as if a much lower quote was given to secure the job, and we can't help but feel swindled. It's unfortunate because we were hoping to go with the same company for our final move in 6 months, and now that is absolutely not an option. I can understand an estimate being off by a few hours or a few hundred dollars, but for the cost to triple is unacceptable. In addition when I booked the moving Matt told my wife not to take the draws out of the dresser and after wrapping with the plastic wrap they could not pick up the dresser so the had to unwrap (and then they never wrapped it again and move and damage draws and the added time to move all the draws which caused more time.
