Multiple items were left behind, including clothing, bags, a laundry hamper, a lamp, a shoe rack, and other belongings, requiring me to spend the following day finishing the move myself. The movers also arrived unprepared and asked to borrow my personal tools to disassemble and reassemble furniture. During the move, my wood table was damaged and now has a significant crack. After the move, I contacted the company to try to resolve the issue. Communication took weeks, and after multiple follow-ups, my request for a refund was denied. The owner seemed more interested in arguing with me than addressing the incomplete move and damaged property. I expected a completed move, professional preparation, and reasonable customer service. Based on my experience, I would NEVER use this company again.

They were excellent all around, from Amy, the moving coordinator, to Josh, Joe and Neil the three gentlemen that performed my move. Communication from Amy was clear, prompt and friendly. The movers arrived right on time for an 8 am start. They knew their stuff. In addition to moving a couch, desk, and chair among other items, they moved my 55" flat screen tv and my Queen-sized sleep number bed with no problems. They do charge an up charge to pack the tv into a specific moving box for flat screens, which I thought was fair and much better than them simply trying to wrap it. They worked quickly and were done loading in 90 minutes. They were also familiar with my new building and knew where to park to unload and quickly got me set up and everything was completed by 1 pm. Moving is stressful, and the movers saw me when I was not at my best, and their friendliness, good humor, and competence really helped me get through the day. I thought the pricing was competitive for a professional service. I did call other companies to compare, and one of them wanted to charge 3x the price to move the flat screen tv, and didn't want any responsibility for the sleep number bed!! Just silly. But they broke the tv and after their insurance wouldn't give their money for their fault, we were stuck paying $700 for a move and then having to buy a tv for $600 to replace the one they broke. They asked for photos, said they would pay us in 30 days, and still haven't a month and a half later. We will have to take legal action against them but I wanted to warn everyone not to use them. They overcharge for random fees and are incredibly difficult if something happens.

Our final invoice was triple the amount of our original quote. Through no fault of our own - nothing changed on our end from what the move involved; no items were added. Owner offered to move the date up to avoid bad weather, which was appreciated. However, our initial estimate was for 3 hours with a crew of 5. Instead the move consisted of half the crew, and it took about 14 hours across 2 days. My husband had to essentially join the crew just to get through the move. It feels as if a much lower quote was given to secure the job, and we can't help but feel swindled. It's unfortunate because we were hoping to go with the same company for our final move in 6 months, and now that is absolutely not an option. I can understand an estimate being off by a few hours or a few hundred dollars, but for the cost to triple is unacceptable. The move itself was decent enough, just expect it to take 3 times as long, and cost 3 times as much as your initial quote.

DO NOT HIRE TUJI. Tuji was the most disingenuous, dishonest and nontransparent company I have dealt…read morewith. They ignored my moving agreement, missed the box-delivery date, and were hours late for the rescheduled delivery. I contracted 4 movers, but only 2 arrived on moving pick up day turning a 6- to 7-hour move into a 14-hour day. They gave no advance notice (they said more movers may come later but that did not happen). After the 14 hour move they tried to collect $1,000 in unexplained upcharges, which I refused to pay. Over the next two weeks, I spent hours trying to secure the 4 movers for the delivery move and remove the charges I had never agreed to. On delivery day, only 3 movers arrived, and the job still took 10 hours instead of the expected 5. They also used Penske rental trucks instead of Tuji-branded moving vans, and the trucks were smaller than a large moving-company truck. Tuji eventually waived the unauthorized upcharges as a "goodwill credit." They were clearly understaffed and should not have accepted the move but instead treated the signed agreement as an ongoing negotiable contract and relied on repeated excuses. Apologies if Tuji staff members were in a truck accident and in the hospital...but...the continued excuses presented as "the dog ate my homework." When voicing complaints, they continuously redirect the communication and just keep the "floor spinning" with nonsense to avoid direct answers. Some staff used both Zip to Zip and Tuji email addresses, suggesting a shared service arrangement. Tuji also provided no direct-dial numbers or individual emails, only a generic address. Hard to determine who works for what company. I ended up paying about what was expected (after numerous emails/phone calls) but got VERY LONG move days which I wanted to avoid. The movers themselves were hardworking and excellent; a competitor would be wise to hire them.
