After much speculation and announcement... H&M is HERE Augusta! I have frequented this store in Atlanta and made my first stop into the one at Augusta Mall the week before Labor Day. Store layout: Primarily, the ladies r upstairs and men downstairs. There is an elevator in the back . I do like the escalator at the store in Atlanta but ...you can't have everything! LOL However, I was able to find some great shirts for my nephew(the main purpose for the mall shop that day). I also wanted to get him the camo joggers but they were sold out. The shirts are really fun and different than you find at some of the other shops. I picked up a henley , LosYorkNewAngeles, a couple other Ts and even a classic RUN-DMC T. Finally, I passed thru upstairs and the ladies were lookin right! Nice lil tops and stylish accessories. Check them out! read more

I went here on Sunday with my kids to buy clothes. We bought two stuffed animals on the upper floor , and went down to the kids section. The man at the cash register asked if we were buying the two stuffed animals we had already bought , and I told him that we had paid for them on the upper level. Me and my kids left the store , but I came back to show him the receipt. He cursed at me and told me to never come back to H&M. The alarm didn't even turn on when me and my three kids left the store , but we were accused of stealing. The customer service is absolutely awful. read more

Oh how I love the store in the mall. How wonderful it is that they have an H&M in Augusta Georgia. My heart lies in the store is of all my clothes are from the store it seems. After only being in the store a few times, no note I try on the whole store, LOL, most of the staff knew my name and greeted me upon return. There was absolutely no complaining that I had clothes waiting to be put back up or that I needed help while in the dressing room. Everyone was there to help and I will gladly by and purchase from the store instead of online again and again. I also want to make comment that they are great upon returns if you get home and find something doesn't go with what you thought it did. There is no complaining whatsoever for the staff and I much appreciate that. Management is awesome read more

One of my favorite places to shop in any city. I just love the options they have. They have good stuff for all members of the family. I see this being a great place to shop for gifts. Great place for classic inexpensive pieces. This location is two floors. Lots of jewelry and accessories for the ladies. I especially like the collection of scarves they have. A new store, so the staff is on top of it for now. The fitting rooms are always crowded. No surprise or complaint there. I must try on everything I intend to buy! The store has an elevator, so the Moms can ride up with strollers to check out the Women and Mens section. Great addition to the Augusta Mall. Finally on par several other cities. read more

Of course I would be at the Grand Opening of one of my favorite stores when it hit Augusta. I tried to make it when the opened at noon but got tied up, but I did make it eventually in the evening when I thought the crowd would have died down. I was wrong, it was still very busy and customers were still crowding in. There was a dj spinning good tunes in the front when you walked in. This store has 2 levels with the women's and girl's merchandise on the upper level and the men's and boy's merchandise on the lower level. There is also a small plus size section here too. I asked one employee where the section was and he showed me to it and informed me that they will eventually get more plus size clothing in later shipments. This is the only reason that I didn't give this store 5 stars. I browsed the jewelry section and found several pieces I liked and actually purchased. The price was very inexpensive for what you were actually getting. The checkout process was a little hectic, but there were 5 lines open and all the lines were full. I did find a line that was shorter and was checkout quickly. The staff was very pleasant and were easy to find with them wearing the same black H&M employee t-shirts. I did receive a postcard in the mail from them because I am an online customer of theirs. It was informing me that they would be opening in Augusta and it came with a small discount but I didn't actually get the postcard till after I got home because I didn't check the mail till after my trek to the mall. But it's still cool though, I'm not mad at all. I'm so glad that we finally got one here because I really do like their merchandise and this is one more reason I will be coming to the mall!!! read more

I shop for my toddler and brother (because he hates shopping and would wear the same shirt until it literally falls off him). What I love about this place is the low price point and fashionable choices. The kids clothes are cute, and I wait for it to go to clearance or on sale and then buy as much as I can. My daughter wears the outfits until she outgrows them, which is saying something because 3 year olds are hard on things. The outfits get compliments and I always tell people to come here. The sales keep me coming back for more! read more
