After a while, boutiques around here just become conglomerated into the same darn things. Designer…read morethis, pretty dressses that, high prices here, ever-changing stock there. But, Circles really does stick out a bit over the "norm". When you first walk in, you're greeted with high piles of denim to the left and to the right. If you're looking for the latest and most expensive new denim designer out there (or if you still love those Sevens), it's here. A sophisticated walk toward the back, and you'll find shoes straight out of the newest Lucky/Glamour/Cosmo/Nylon issue, in a separated display that does well to highlight the kicks. In the adjoining room, racks of breathtaking gowns to playful grown-up rompers wait to be touched and swirled. It's a rather large place, filled with intelligent stock and only a few of "wait, what?" pieces from runway design. The owner is such a sweetheart that I feel ridiculous not remembering her name. Although it's a women's-only boutique, it's definitely a one-stop-shopping-after-that-paycheck-hits place. If greatly made and uniquely pieced clothing is your thing, get to know the owners' name.

I've been trying to patronize this business since they were in Delmar. The service is awful. I may…read morehave made @10 trips here and only purchased when I was greeted- first time when pregnant, second time when the shoes outweighed the customer service. Went yesterday for the LAST time to prove to my friend that we should boycott. Walked in the door, 4-5 sales associates standing around the register. NO ONE SPOKE to us. We browsed the front, walked to the back and not a simple "hello". I've always suspected that it was because i am black but that's the easy way out. My friend is Korean and they did the same to her (perhaps because she was with me lol). This business is just whack and their selections have declined since the 90s. Save your money, shop elsewhere.

Finally found a chic boutique with stellar brands that match every occasion. Though the regulars…read moreare known by a first name basis and they can be quite intimidating, this family-run boutique is successful because of them. On my first visit I found statement pieces that didn't break the budget thanks to good timing. Can't wait to pop in more often!

I was at Newton Plaza waiting for my husband to have an appointment so I stopped in today looking…read morefor a few items to freshen up my wardrobe . I liked that they offer men's clothing also and wanted to pick up a few things for my spouse . The sales person didn't greet me immediately, but after about 5 minutes she asked if I needed help. I responded I wanted to look around for a few minutes, and she replied, "the sales clothing are in the back." I spent quite some time looking around in both the front and back and she never once spoke to me again. I was the only person in the store. I found a few items to try on and not once did she come to the dressing room and ask if I needed another size or if I needed assistance. Here's what is important to me: customer service. This shop wasn't offering brands I couldn't find somewhere else. I did ask for assistance in finding a size and she did do a quick look for me. I purchased 2 items and said thank you as she handed me my receipt, her response , "OK ." Not a thank you , not one thank you for making a purchase . I intended to take my husband to look around after his appointment , however I was so disgusted with the salesperson, I refused to patronize this establishment ever again. So confused by other reviews stating great friendly salespeople , must have been written by the owner's family.

De Anna's seems to foster a love/hate reaction. Most of the reviews that have been previously…read morewritten are based upon the bridal services provided by the business. So far, only one other review has addressed the rest of the business which includes women's clothing, jewelry, candy, soaps and other personal care products, greeting cards, knickknacks, and holiday gifts. There is a sign on the back of the building where the main entrance is located, directing bridal service customers in one direction and all others to a different entrance. We were in search of holiday gift ideas and purchases so we avoided the bridal entrance - you probably need an appointment to shop there in any event. As already noted, there are a lot of things for sale in the main store, and that may be a problem. While the clothing, almost exclusively for women ( I saw a sign saying they have men's hats and scarves) appears to be well organized by color, there is so much of it packed into racks and on shelves that it actually is a chore to browse. If you are looking for products made in the U.S.A. or Canada, there are options available. Staff were friendly and helpful in our search for personal care products. They offered to gift bag our purchase and removed all price stickers. However, when we requested who made their chocolate candy, the only response was that it came from a variety of places. As one other reviewer pointed out, an important feature that is lacking in the store is a restroom for customers. You may have to drive a mile or so to find one (Hannaford? Shop Rite?). Also note that they do not take the American Express card.

Terrible, inflexible return policy. I live in Boston, got a cardigan sweater gift for Xmas, wasn't…read moresure about it, kept it and figured I could exchange when I came back to Albany end of Jan. Exchange, not return, not money back, just exchange. Went to return and was told 1/20/23 was cutoff for returns/exchanges. I was there a week later. I pleaded with the owner, Dianne, to make an exception, but she stated she already did reorders based on 1/20/23 inventory, so she won't help me. My sister has shopped there often over decades. She won't anymore. I guess not allowing 1 exchange is worth losing a lot of future business
