This place packed people tighter than NYC's 1 train at rush hour, line snaking out the door, bodies on all sides, and plenty of weekend chatter. That part feels true to the Upper East Side original. H&H skips the "hasn't changed since the '70s" vibe, but it makes up for it with a bright, modern setup and just enough seating to remind you you're here to eat, not squat. Line runners patrol the floor like friendly bouncers, snagging orders, sprinkling in small talk, and offering cookies to line-weary kids. Behind the counter, the crew gets to work smearing plain, scallion, spicy scallion, strawberry, tofu, and veggie cream cheese across a solid spread of bagels, bialys, and breakfast sammies. The drink lineup sticks to the basic coffee, cold brew, and Saratoga sparkling water. Then it tosses in a few options for Pinecrest's Lululemon crowd, like Saint James' lower-sugar iced teas, Tractor's organic lemonades, and açaí energizers for anyone trying to hydrate and simultaneously achieve nirvana. Overall, a good addition to Suniland plaza. Not somewhere I'd travel for but somewhere I'd stop by if I was in the area and wanted bagels. Service gets pretty busy around lunchtime. The bagels and spread both taste very fresh, especially after having the bagels toasted. Good and friendly customer service Inside has a few seating available but the bulk of the general space is to account for large lines to order and pickup. I decided to skip the weekend chaos and stopped by on a weekday morning instead. Best decision ever ....no wait at all. I went for opening day and the line was out the door! but they moved everyone in and out pretty efficiently proud of them! I'm from the North so I'm a harsh bagel critic, and was very excited to try. I ordered the nova with the works. I ordered it on a jalepeno cheddar bagel and substituted the spicy scallion cream cheese. The bagel dough was thick and good texture, but can use a little more salt. I was a little sad that the cheddar in the bagel wasnt completely melted and i got a little hard chunk of cheddar. The bagel was piled high with toppings. The salmon tasted fresh, and the capers, onion, and tomato are the perfect addition to any bagel. The spicy scallion cream cheese was actually too spicy for me ( and i love spice!) So i would stick to the regular scallion cream cheese. I definitely would like to come back to try their egg and cheese sandwich. The inside is pretty spacious and a good amount of seating like a normal bagel deli. Despite the at times intimidating lines, the operation is a well-oiled machine; the queue moves quickly and the wait is minimal. They offer an impressive variety of bagels and spreads, but I went with the gold standard: Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on an everything bagel. Great new Bagel place straight from NYC, and the word is out. It took 45 mins on a Saturday morning to get a Prepared bagel sandwich. That's not horrible for a new hotspot, but it did feel as if the staff is still learning the ropes. It's a small place with seating for less the than 20, which is good because the line inside had close to 30 people and there were nearly that many just waiting to enter on an early Saturday. It's in a giant strip mall that has a bunch of free parking, so odds are you'll be able to park and get a spot. If you want to speed things up on a busy day, you can listen for when they call out "anyone here for bagels only?" That would've cut my wait to less than 20 mins on a crowded Saturday morning. The bagels here are great, with just the right amount of crunch and chew. Also keep in mind that you can buy extra bagels, slice them, freeze them and have ones to toast directly from the freezer on a busy morning. I tried this and was pleasantly suprised. H&H Bagels made its way to Miami from NYC, and the Pinecrest location was very busy when we went. But even with a full crowd, the place was kept clean from the bathroom to the entrance. Rudy took our order and Sam helped ring us up, they were both so welcoming and helpful. Now onto the bagels. My husband ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese with scallion cream cheese on an everything bagel and really enjoyed it. He said it reminded him of one of our favorite bagel spots (that shall remain unnamed) in NYC, which says a lot. I had an egg and cheese with scallion cream cheese on an everything bagel. It was delicious, the bagel was soft and chewy even being lightly toasted. You can tell that the dough was very fresh. The scallion cream cheese flavor was very good. Next time I'll probably skip the cheddar cheese because the scallion cream cheese alone would have been enough. We also got sides of plain and strawberry cream cheese to try. Both were fresh and flavorful. The strawberry had real pieces of fruit and wasn't overly sweet - which I Loved! I'll definitely be back to try more. As a native NYer, these bagels are excellent. Crunchy exterior with a soft chewy interior. They really slab on that schmear, so if you're a light cream cheese kind of person, ask them to go light. We ordered a sesame bagel with lox spread and sliced tomatoes on a sesame bagel, a raisin bagel with plain cream cheese, and a Scallion BT on an everything bagel. Delish! I do find their ordering and paying process not very effective. They need to work on that to help the flow. I am sure it will come with time. Check them out! read more

I really wanted to love this place. Miami bagels are not good. Neither is this "ny" bagel. It was better the second chance I gave it. You need to have ur bagel toasted. That makes it tolerable. But there is nothing like a fresh hot bagel right out of the oven. Except in miami. Smears are easy. And theirs are good. Egg sandwich was better. It hid the bagel. . Just a few tables. Non outside. I'm from NY and been dying to visit this location. I grew up in H&H Bagels in NY and miss a good bagel! I was not disappointed the bagels are delicious and fresh. I had a Scallion BT (scallion cream cheese with bacon and tomato) on a toasted everything bagel. AMAZING! my son had a Southwest turkey sandwich (turkey, bacon, pepper jack cheese, avocado with a southwest ranch sauce) on a toasted onion bagel. It was soooooo good! We went on a Saturday morning at 11:30 and the line was literally out the door BUTTTT the service is great and the line moves decently. From the time I got in line to leaving was 30 minutes. But as I left the line was only in the store so maybe go a little later and you'll be fine. They do come often through the line to ask people if anyone is there just to pick up bagels vs sandwiches which clears out the line too. The setting is really nice, ample seating (just not now for the crowds). Definitely recommend and will be back for sure read more

Absolutely the worst whatever you wanna call it bagel place in Pinecrest they make you wait in line. Waited the line over 30 minutes. Still never got to place my order the line goes out the door and then you can't just get anything done. It's just a big wait and when you ask why you're waiting and complain they cop an attitude telling you they're busy like yeah I could see you're busy but you have a line going out your door.
