More importantly, the salon was very dirty, dust everywhere (not just construction dust) where you get your fingernails done was also very dusty/dirty, nails and detritus on the floor, several staff wearing older clothes that were unkempt (wrinkled, dirty, etc.) looking. Pleasant nail techs and they do full sets. Lots of pedicure options/upgrades. They have a 10% off coupon if you check in on Yelp! Cons: $15 for a soak off if you don't get any service (I was coming back two days later, just didn't have time to do it all right then) and I was charged an extra $10 for my pedicure even though I chose the middle package ($60) because she told me it was a better deal to do that one with the gel polish and then charged me and additional $20 anyway. I didn't notice it until a day or so later on my receipt but I was getting married so I had other higher priorities to take care of. It's been several years since I've been here so not sure if it's the same ownership/management team or not. I was able to request an appointment online with about an hour's notice. You could make an account for easier appointments and previous appointment information but it isn't necessary. Check-in was easy and I was brought back to my chair. There are at least two pedicure rooms with 6 chairs each. Staff working on nails wore masks and gloves while reception didn't. I got the basic SPAtacular $37 pedicure with regular nail polish. I was really pleased with the service. It was estimated to be 40 minutes in length. With the dry time it was about 55. The woman on the other side of me complained she'd been there a few weeks before on a weekday that steps were being skipped this time, and the staff was all new. I don't know about any of that. I was thinking this was more thorough than the pedicure I had at another establishment last month. And I know none of my steps (sugar scrub, hot stones) were missed. read more

Went here for Manicure and Pedicure for my sisters wedding. We all loved our nails. The girls were very nice that helped us and they were all safe with new COVID rules. Everyone wore masks. Customers and employees. Only a few issues. 1. My sister(the bride) was completely ignored during our pedicure time slot. We let it go a few minutes but by the time we asked and someone had to come to start we were all done so she didn't get to have a pedicure at all We ALL had made appointment way ahead of time and it seemed as if the staff was more concerned about fitting in the walk in customers before her. And even after I feel they should have offered her a free pedicure to come back for but nope. Nothing. Charged her full price for her nails and that was it. 2. They apparently have a "first timer" discount but don't let you know until AFTER you have already paid. Not cool. Other than that everything was clean and safe and I would def recommend the services but be aware of what they are charging and if you have Ana pot speak up and let them know you should be priority over walk ins. read more

I have been into H&B Nails at least 8-10 times. I keep going back because honestly the fact that you can book online is HUGE and when I need to make an appointment quickly this is super convenient. I wish every salon did this. However, I keep trying other salons hoping to find a place that is more consistent in their service. I get the exact same services every time - a gel manicure and a basic pedicure. But every time the process seems to be different. I wish there was more consistency nail tech to nail tech. In fact, I will sometimes go with a friend and we get the same services but one of us will have extra steps, or be asked to wash our hands, or have filing after the polish goes on when the other does not, etc. etc. As a result, there have been a few times when I have chips a day or two after coming in (on a no-chip!) and my friend will have a perfect manicure for weeks. I am also careful not to get too many gel manicures because it does thin my nails when they start to peel off. I don't see any reason to then sand my natural nails (once the old polish is removed) but a few techs do this (not all) and I know my nails are getting weaker because of it and I have to take longer breaks between manicures. Because I sometimes schedule on a whim, I can't always book with the same tech, so I wish I could go in confidently knowing I will get a great manicure that is healthy for my nails no matter who I see. read more

I had to wait 30mins for my tech to finish up (had an appointment) but I remained patient and understanding mindset. Well worth it because May hooked my atrocious set up! Repaired an awful old set and was super nice. I was given my VETERANS discount as well as my first timers discount. They are very fairly priced for the quality!! I'm the most OCD nail person I know. I placed a review last Saturday and it's been deleted. Firstly, this salon seems fine, that is until you have a problem. I used Yelp to warn prospective customers about the fact that the techs in the salon are independent contractors, I didn't find this out until I had a complaint. Calvin, the owner was skeptical and disbelieving when I called about my problem. I decided to use the power of social media. Calvin responded that he intended to offer a free pedicure and refund. He certainly didn't do that in either of the 2 phone calls I made. The money isn't the important thing to me. If I pay $60 for a pedicure and realize that the tech clipped my nails in a way that causes ingrown problems. I don't want to go to that salon again. read more

You guys! This place is legit!! I have been going to another salon for 4 years and there was a very quick change of hands and i was left to find a new salon after a completely botched dip mani. I searched the area on yelp and found the H&B has great reviews. I was able to schedule my appointment online and almost immediately got a call that the person i scheduled with didn't do dip and Meg asked if i would be willing to change my appointment to see the owner. I was open to this and i told her what happened with the last salon. She assured me Calvin would do a great job. When i showed up they were running a little behind but they had comfy couches to chill on until they were ready. A few things to note, i was sitting next to a woman with a 4 year old girl. The staff was wonderful with the girl, taking their time with her and talking to her like any other client. Next- although they were behind i was quickly acknowledged and knew the situation. Calvin took his time but worked quickly and efficiently. He was friendly and engaging. He fixed my nails and shaped them EXACTLY how i asked. I couldn't find anything wrong if i tried! I'm so happy with the results! I come to this salon for gel manicures often, and my manicures are always great! I have been seeing Lynn and she does a great job and is so sweet. My complaint about this salon is that they always seem to be overbooked for the technicians they have working that day. I have had a couple of visits where my technician was busy with another client well past my appointment time, and someone else needed to work on removing my previous gel polish. These experiences have always been for Friday evenings or weekend appointments. I think they are overbooking themselves for what they can do, which I could see hurting them and their customer service. This could be worse due to short staffing from Covid, but who knows. They do a great job on your nails, but my advice to anyone is to do appointments during the week if you come here, so you're not left waiting. read more

I needed a new place to get my nails done. The old place, where I tried dip polish for the 1st time, is always in such a rush to fit as many people in as they can in, they don't do a good job. Dip polish is suppose to look like polish, not acrylics. They were way too thick. So, I tuned here to yelp as a guide,and found this place. I am so happy I did! They got me in right away (however I would suggest making an appointment) and my nails look fantastic. Absolute worst pedicure of my life. I've gone here before and usually I have to explain over and over what I want to get my pedicure how I want it to be, which is fine whatever. I always get them filed as square as they can and keep the length, minus a very small trim. This time the shape, size, and polish job came out like absolute shit. Not only is the polish lumpy, she didn't even BOTHER to make my nails the same size or shape. She actually didn't even get the file out. I had to have her take the polish and fix it because they were all slanted and crooked. To fix her mistake, she cut my toe nails to NUBS. Now not only are they short, but they still don't match and the polish still looks like garbage. Do not go here. They will rush and pretend like they don't know what the hell is going on. I know she saw what I saw. People use their hard earned money to treat themselves and some of us don't get to do this all the time. I left 1.5 hours in with half of my nails half done (acrylic applied, no gel or design) and half of them bare when I was told I would be left unattended until someone came in to replace the person working on me because she had a client coming in who "hates to wait".
