The 5 stars weren't only for the great quality food but for the exceptional service as well. I live in Queens and have sampled the best Greek restaurants in my area. Everything was fresh here and the servings were generous. We ordered the bison burger (juicy and flavorful) and chicken souvlaki platter ( huge serving, I took home half for my lunch the next day--still tasted really good). My favorite Greek place to stop by for lunch or a quick dinner. The gyro special is a my go to. Gyro is a large size and pita bread is always warm and fluffy. Fries are amazing espically with some feta cheese on top. Free refills on drinks. The lady that is usually working is very nice. read more

Great food at decent prices. I've tried their gyros, Greek salad, Greek fries, calamari and lamb kokinisto. Food is always fresh, tasty and served with a smile. I was bummed because this place used to be a Latin deli that served empanadas, and when I went to get my empanada fix I found out they closed and this place took over. I decided to give this place a try and now it's my go-to Greek food fix. Formerly living in Westchester, I used to frequent Nikko's Taverna which was the only place I got great Greek food. When I moved to Rockland it sucked not being able to easily get my Greek food fix until this place opened. Got of the parkway for gas, also needed food, fired up yelp and saw a five star rated place. We were not disappointed! Everything was seriously delicious. Decided to give Gyro Point Plus a try. We choose take out, the Chicken Souvlaki Platter with French fries. The service was fast, friendly staff & priced right. The meal was hearty, the chicken was well seasoned and plenty in the warm soft pita, the Greek salad was great they even added a yummy stuffed grape leaf. Living in Rockland has been difficult for my palate, I am constantly looking for yummy places to eat. I read reviews for this place and decided that Friday night take out would be from here. WOW!! I was very pleased with the chicken and pork Sluvaki platter, the fried calamari was a little soggy but it was because it was take out and the moisture caused that. Definitely will visit to have sit down meal next time. Glad to have a Greek food option close to home. read more

there's quite a few "greek" spots in and around rockland but this place is the real deal. if you want a proper gyro, this is spot. tzatziki was authentic and there was a hearty amount of meat as opposed to being crammed full of lettuce and tomato like other spots. looking forward to my next visit. read more
