Just wanted to update my review and say that I still give this place 5 stars! We have yet to go to a gyro place in the area that we like just as much or more than we like it here. I've told my family and friends about this place and they love it too. Gyro Guys has been our go to gyro place since the first time we tried it and it's gonna stay that way! Whoa. This place is good. Like, Nacho Libre "guuuuuud." We stopped here for lunch on the way home today. The door was kept open for airflow and staff were wearing masks. The menu is a bit more extensive than other hole-in-the-wall gyro stops, and they also had Turkish Delight in addition to the usual desserts. I had the beef and lamb gyro plate. It comes with rice, salad, hummus, and pita. There was so much food it looked like I hadn't eaten anything when I closed up the container after I was full. I had a huge portion left over for dinner. All of the flavors were spot on--I especially enjoyed the rice! The Turkish Delight was a little skimpy and I couldn't really taste the rose water, but I'm glad I tried it. Hubs got the chicken swarma pita, which was tasty and generously portioned. My son had a lamb and beef tzatziki wrap which he said was delicious. Parking lot can be full because this is next to a large gas station and other small businesses, and the intersection at 99 is always ridiculously busy. Prices are on par or a bit more expensive than other gyro places but I'll be back for those perfectly pillowy pitas and hummus! read more

We stopped here on a whim on a Friday afternoon with 26 deg. Celsius (77F) and this place has air conditioning, also I can see from my car that it was clean. We asked the guys to recommend something so we tried gyro pater and chicken with fries. The food cam with two drinks and we loved everything. The lamb and chicken were cooked to perfection, soft and juicy with garlic sauce on top. My player came with humus and Mediterranean salad. We've always driven past this place before but today we finally went in to give it a try. We were greeted by a warm welcome as soon as we went in, I ordered the chicken shwarma plate and my wife had the gyro plate and shared a large Greek fries. The food came fast and it was delicious, the owner brought over some homemade pickled veggie which was very nice of him. I was really surprised at the end when I went to ask for a top cover for our leftover fries and the owner took our fries bowl and proceeded to give us a refill and top it off with more feta cheese and garlic sauce. It was a very kind gesture and we'll definitely be returning when we're in the area. Just don't let the store front fool you since it's right by a gas station, great place for a delicious meal and treated like you're family. read more

As most of the other reviews say, everything we've tried so far has been great! I especially love the falafel - really nice flavors and consistency. We've had rice bowls, gyro plates, salads and fries, none of which disappointed. We also appreciate that drinks are given in cans (not sure if this was just a covid-related decision, but it's very convenient nonetheless). The folks working here are always so nice. This is our favorite gyro joint from Everett to Seattle, and we've tried our share of places :o) I've never taken a picture of the food from here because it smells too dang good to pause after getting ready to eat. I'll try harder next time. Anyway, we can't wait to continue exploring what they have! read more

Absolutely love this place!!! These are the best gyros I've had since I moved out of Seattle. I always get the lamb and beef with no tomatoes (I'm allergic)and my husband gets the chicken gyro made spicy, every time our food comes out perfect and delicious! The meat is always tender, well seasoned, and perfect! The greek fries were to die for, pretty sure they're the best Greek fries I've ever had and I'm pretty sure I could eat them every day and be totally happy about that. Also, the Baklava they serve here is great! I always get one with my food since it's hard to find Baklava this good The customer service here is on another level! Every time we've gone in the guys are friendly and happily take our order and has no issues with the modifications I ask for (some restaurants aren't as nice about changing items) I'm super appreciative of how great these guys are! Uber Eats during the quarantine. Not bad! Two entries was good enough for 4 people lol. I got the veggie plate combo and my sister got the chicken shawarma plate. Both were good. My definite favorites were the hummus and garlic sauce. The hummus was definitely homemade and they placed extra garbanzo beans and spices on top. Got take out lunch here on our first day of social distancing and working from home. We ordered the large Greek fries with feta and garlic sauce, beef and lamb gyro pita, and chicken shawarma bowl. Everything was fresh and portions were big. They give you thick slices of the gyro meat which is much more tasty. The fries stayed crispy until the end. My wife and I have been getting takeout from this place for the last couple years, got the pleasure this evening of meeting the owner. Their food has always been outstanding along with their customer service and overall friendliness when you walk in the door. Tonight my experience took it over the top, the owner is someone you want to support and hopefully meet, I even got a sweet little treat for free and enjoyed my time while waiting for my food. Horrible customer service. The woman who takes orders over the phone and works as the cashier is rude and doesn't know how to greet customers. As I walked in to pick up my order, she raised her eyebrows at me as her way of greeting and didn't say a word which is uncomfortable. Never in my life have I had pickles and French fries in my shawarma but I can see why they do it I guess. I think my problem is I want the same shawarma I had in the Middle East, so I'm being picky. GF ordered this off one of those food apps, and I have to say they made the most disappointing Gyro in have ever eaten, even worse than the one I had in Wisconsin where they used mayonnaise instead of tzatziki sauce. For starters, the gyro had a pungent unappetizing smell. The lettuce was finely shredded and not torn, it felt like it belonged on a taco at Taco Bell. The tzatziki sauce was sparse and watery, it lacked depth of flavor and leaned too heavy on garlic, I'm very used to tzatziki being thicker and more abundant, it was just lightly tossed in with the shredded iceberg lettuce. Speaking of shredded, the meat was shredded too, and was way today thinly cut, I've never had gyro like this before, and I hope to never again. I'm surprised by all the highly favorable reviews for this place, it was awful, there are many good gyro places in the area, however this is not one of them. If you want a good gyro in the area I recommend Acropolis on 128th or my favorite, Gyro Delight in Lynnwood. read more

We've been here several times since the pandemic. Every-time everything is super fresh and the portions are hefty! So far we've tried the gyro plate, gyro bowl, gyro fries bowl, and the falafel. Everything is so good and the standards are always up there. I don't think we've ever been slightly disappointed. The owners/employees are super nice and always makes sure you're not waiting for too long. Most of their meals comes with a drink, which is also a plus since not much businesses do so nowadays. My impressions from my first order here. 1. Website said Barqs root beer they gave me Shasta. The worst root beer on the planet. I should have gotten a coke. 2. The meat on my beef and lamb gyros was chopped not sliced. At first i thought it was a bad cheese steak or something. Not one slice of meat however there was lots it. The meat portion was generous if you like mini bite sized meat. 3. The Tzatziki sauce was meh. Not sure what was wrong with it just that it was meh. Yes! get a gyro from here. We ordered from here for the first time a few weeks ago with one of the food delivery services and got lamb and beef gyros and they were amazing, so a few days ago we ordered again but picked it up and I got the Gyro fries with double meat and again AMAZING!. I only get gyros this good when I go home to visit (Chicago). The portion size is on point, the taste is amazing, the meat is so tender. The baklava is also very good. I hope they keep up the good taste and portion size. This is now my go to spot for Gyros. I might try other items since the gyros were so good. read more

WOW! This place used to be the best. So good! Every time I went in, it was delightful. One time, I mentioned it was my birthday and the husband and wife team gave me everything for free! I ordered a lamb and beef gyro, spicy, To Go, and without the styrofoam container (that is not biodegradable) nor the (lasts forever) plastic fork. A young woman put together and she needs a lot more training! The "my friend" dude hovered over her and assisted her in botching my food. The totally disappointing and bland lamb/beef was in tiny pieces, like dog food kibbles. What? There was not one big piece of meat in the whole mistake. How does that happen? The vegetables were not fresh...slimy and no crispy crunch. The were old! Frightening. Also, there was absolutely no, as requested, spiciness. Worst of all, the taziiki sauce was like water! At least, it had very little flavor, as it soaked into the pita bread and made it all soggy. So wrong, "my friend'! As the young woman reached for the stupid styrofoam container, I had to inform her, twice, that I don't want it. This brought attitude. She is anything but friendly and probably won't be "my friend"...ever. Not wanting the plastic fork evoked another frown...as if I were annoying her by informing her how I want my To Go order to be ready to be gone. She has difficulty adapting to simple requests. Great...way to make me feel welcome, young sour puss.. Try smiling and being engaging. D'OH! So...this visit to Gyro Guys was a BIG strike two! I don't want to risk striking-out. I'm finished with this formerly great place...and I'm hoping I don't get food poisoning from the slimy tired vegetables and the sad taziki.. Best of luck, "my friend".
