I submitted an online request for a quote and the next day Mike emailed me requesting pictures of what our project wanted to include. Originally we just wanted to pull out our front yard plants and redo just the front but there is a $5000 project minimum. After deciding to redo our turf and also include our backyard, Mike came out the next week for a free in person consultation and got me a detailed quote within 2 days. The turnaround time for everything was just amazing, I've never seen anything like it. Our lot is about 3615 sq ft to give a reference point. Our project included: all the labor to demolish/uproot all of our plants including a very large 20 year old tree in the backyard + all the roots (completed in 2-3 days), redid our front and backyard turf (completed in 2 days by Backyard Golf Company), added a veneer stone and cap on our retaining wall (1 week) and replanted all our plants/installed a drip sprinkler system/installed lighting front and backyard (1 week). We have an HOA and Mike had a complete detailed plan and diagram ready for us within 3-5 days. Once HOA got back to us, the project was started within a week and finished in the estimated time frame. Workers came promptly at 8 AM and they were actively working all day not just sitting around. Very respectful, even blowing all the dust at the end of the day to keep the area clean, no garbage left anywhere. The entire project was $30,000 and there weren't any surprise or unexpected costs. It was greatly appreciated that everything was washed down and cleaned by the crew at the end of each day. They were also able to make quick adjustments when our neighbor had some concerns with the hedges we wanted to plant. The scope of the work included adding a concrete pad, extending our concrete patio, planting privacy hedges with drainage and auto watering system, installing artificial grass with paver walkways, and adding pebbles along the exterior wall of our house. Since we have a soft watering system, we also had them install a separate line from the main. Overall, Caliscapes OC was professional, friendly, and accommodating. We even had one of the hedge plants not doing well. We reached out to Caliscapes OC to advise us on how to revive it, and they said they would replace it. You generally could have confidence that if you were paying for pool service, that you would get everything you pay for on a weekly basis: skimming, chemical balancing, scrubbing, vacuuming, dumping the skimmer baskets. Furthermore, the company generally had the same staff doing the work so as a client you had some familiarity and confidence that you knew who was doing the work. Unfortunately, since the company came under new ownership many aspects of this experience have changed and gotten much worse. The staff who come by it seems has changed from week to week. They regularly do not do all of the services that you pay for. One week we observed the tech indiscriminately dumping chlorine and tossing a chlorine tablet into the pool without doing any measurements. This is on top of not skimming the surface, brushing the sides, or vacuuming the bottom -- all of which are services that (depending on your service plan) you are potentially paying for. Finally, it would seem there is no easy way to get on the phone with someone at this company. The phone number listed on the website now leads to a voicemail message directing clients and others to text or email. Are they such a big company that they can't field calls from customers about current issues? I don't know, but I would guess not. So in my opinion the service went from reliable and predictable to borderline negligent and seeming to do as little work as possible to justify the monthly fee. As I write this, I've already terminated my ongoing agreement with this company and have another technician hired. Strongly consider avoiding this company, at least in its current state.

I wanted Lavender and and a few other plants for my garden and they showed me where things were and answered all my questions. I love the things I bought there. The plants are in the ground now and very happy. The vase I got is so pretty. They have everything you need to make a stunning garden and they can suggest landscapers if you ask. I bought a lemon tree there some time ago and it is healthy and gives lots of lemons. I can't recall if I had it delivered or I had our truck with us, but I do think they will deliver the big trees. Parking is easy in their lot and the area is clean.
