This is a fast service Mexican food place. Given that Mexico is a long way from Australia, I wouldn't say expectations were high. It turned out to be satisfactory, if not special.
I was a hungry traveler at that time and pigged out a bit, getting a veggie burrito and churros for dessert, along with a tasty domestic ginger beer. The veggie burrito had a few black beans among its mix, albeit not quite enough for my nutritional satisfaction. Tasted fine. The churros and accompanying caramel sauce weren't fancy, but they were satisfying.
The service was oddly a tad clueless, asking me if I wanted to add guac on a burrito when it was already included and failing to bring me my drink, but it's fast food so that isn't a big deal. The price was right. It is, much like its American counterpart, the sort of place you'd eat when you didn't have the time or energy to cook or find something really good. read more
