Sergio requested the primary insured's name, explained the process, and I sent over our insurance company's summary of dwellings coverage on 6/30/26 following the adjuster's inspection. After following up a few times with both Sergio and my adjuster to see if they had connected, Sergio informed me on 7/14/26 that they had spoken and he forwarded a document to me. However, it turned out to be the exact same paperwork I had already sent him two weeks prior. When I pointed out the duplicate, communication completely stopped. Hoping to clear up the confusion, I called him. He texted back saying he couldn't talk at the moment--which is completely understandable--so I asked him to call me when he had a chance. That is when the customer service took a sharp turn. He responded via text with: "Understand but I am also taking care of more customers." I replied, "Understood, when u have 4 min." That text was sent on 7/15/26. After days of total silence, I decided to make one final effort to resolve this. On July 20, 2026, I called and left Sergio a message asking for a call back by 5:00 PM. I wanted to make one last attempt to fix the situation because I know leaving a permanent, scathing review online is a bridge-burning move that eliminates any chance of a company making things right. Unfortunately, he never returned the call. As a customer with an actively damaged roof exposed to the elements, I was incredibly taken aback by being told other clients were a higher priority, and even more disappointed by the total lack of response to a final deadline. Because of this complete lack of organization, reliability, and basic professionalism, I have lost all trust. I have since contacted my insurance adjuster to revoke JP Exteriors' access to my claim, and I am taking my business to a roofing company that actually values its clients. I called up Andy's, who did our last cleaning and put gutters on our garage, but they never got back to me after a call, email, and website submission. I got a few quotes, none of them from Turro, when a co-worker randomly mentioned a recent gutter cleaning done by Turro. I will never grow accustomed to the awkwardness that ensues when trying to schedule home repairs. It seems the rule, not the exception, that you're the one pushing for updates and begging for info. But I digress. After a few texts, I got my quote and was told they could come out the next day. The only real upside of a pandemic is that we're always home, so scheduling is easy. My only frustration was that we needed to run an errand and I couldn't pin down a window of time when they'd be out. I started to assume they weren't coming when it was almost 4 on a Friday, but they assured me they would be there and they were. Hot damn our gutters were filthy! Seeing all of the water run out when they unclogged them was pleasing. The also fixed one spot on our gutter where the downspout had been attached shoddily too. They did try and upsell us on gutter covers, which we opted not to do until we've had a chance to do a little research. On the one hand, I didn't love that most of the gunk from the gutters ended up in our grass, but on the other hand, it was evident that they did a thorough job. Overall, we'd hire them again. They beat all of the other quotes we got, were friendly,quick, and we didn't have to wait weeks for an appointment.
