He arrived exactly on time for the appointment for the quote and gave me considerable time & attention - answering all of my questions, showing samples and discussing alternatives! The company installed a new drain pipe for us and we were very happy with the work. We are new to the San Jose area and relied on the other yelp comments to find this company. Omar came out when he said he would and gave us the most cost efficient options to help solve our problem. He gave a fair estimate and was able to have people out the very next day to complete the work. The men who came out were very nice and conferred with us prior to doing the work to ensure we were all on the same page. The company is diamond certified and for good reason. This review is long overdue. I can not praise the professionalism of the owner enough. If every contractor was as prepared, knowledgeable, articulate, and courteous as the owner, then I'd have even more home improvements underway. The installation of the gutters could not have been more painless. I think the owner could have a 2nd career on teaching small business owners on customer service. Prices were in the ballpark with other gutter installers. In addition, Gutter Pros was able to install a certain model of gutter which another gutter installer said wasn't available. read more

I used Omar and the team at Gutter Pros to do the basic cleaning and debris removal from the gutters attached to my two story house. They came, they cleaned, they left -- as advertised. Last weekend (a few weeks after their initial visit), my downspouts were backing up, so I reached out to Omar on a miserable day as he was driving to another customer. He agreed to come back out to my place at no charge to inspect the work of his team, and make sure they hadn't damaged anything. After coming over and climbing up to the second story, he called me to explain the issue (clogged drains underground) and suggested some companies that could address the issues I was having. I called Gutter Pro and the owner made an appointment for the following day. He arrived at the agreed upon time. He said that he could see part of the problem walking up to the front door. He was right. We talked about the problems I saw after the heavey rain storm the week before. He inspected the gutters from the ground then got his ladder and inspected them from the top. He then explained to me that the gutters didn't need replacement. He said it was just a problem with the way they had been installed many years ago and would not be difficult to repair. He told me that the section that allowed water to flood the patio was also an easy fixed. He took a few minutes and wrote an estimate. He went over the charges and explained exactly how they would reset the front gutter renail the entire system, reset loose spikes and modify the down spot with an extender. He left the written estimate with a brochure about the work they preform. He didn't pressure me for a commitment and I told him I would call him back. I did and we scheduled the work for the following week. The workman arrived on time and were as professional as the owner. They went to work, completed the job and cleaned up after they were done. The young man in charge explained about one spot that was a bit troublesome but was repaired to my satisfaction. I was impressed with the owner the workman and the work preformed. Omar Calderon (owner) was honest, on time, friendly, and informative. He also returned my call quickly. Unfortunately for us he isn't repairing our gutter. He came out and gave us a free estimate on a leaky gutter repair but ended up recommending we hire a roofing/gutter company instead since we have a tile roof and he said he couldn't fix the leaky corner without walking on the roof (which is not good for tile). So he wasn't just trying to make a quick buck from us. Next time if I do have gutter work he can do, I'm calling him. read more

My 40-yr old house needed new gutters. Of all the estimators only one got up on my roof and thoroughly inspected every aspect of the installation challenges: landscapping, patio cover, missing flanges, etc. Omar and his crew were very efficient, competent, and cleaned up everything better than before they arrived. Excellent from start to finish. Omar came out exactly at the agreed upon time to inspect and provide a detailed estimate. Clearly a Pro regarding what works and what does not; re-designed previous gutter installation to better cope with heavy rain. Then his crew came out (I believe Alonzo) exactly at the agreed upon time, clean job, left a clean job site and accommodated a last minute change request without problems. My gutter pulled away from the house during the last storm. Omar at Gutter Pros returned my call and came out to take a look. He climbed up to the gutter which was on the second story of my house and examined the loose gutter. When he descended from the roof, he told me that the gutter had come loose because the rafter tails to which the gutter was attached to had dry rot. He told me that they didn't repair this type of structural damage and gave me some hints at what to look for in finding repairs. I appreciate Omar's honesty and straightforwardness with me especially since he wasn't able to perform the repairs that I needed. I am only giving four stars because I didn't have any work done by them but they will be the first that I call for future gutter repairs. read more
