Delicious beef tacos

This came highly recommended and did not disappoint! The beef tacos and tamale were simply perfect! The grocery store owner was extremely kind and patient with us, as we did not speak Spanish, and he has limited English. $9.99 for three hearty tacos That have fresh cilantro and fresh cabbage is a steal. Parking is limited, and there are three bench picnic tables on the sidewalk out front. I would absolutely go back and take a friend. !

Chicken Burrito with lettuce, rice, sour cream, corn and beans (FANTASTIC!!)

Gutierrez Deli is delicious! Not much on the outside but when you walk in it is the cutest little bodega with everything you can imagine! In the back of the store there's a guy making authentic and delicious burritos and quesadillas. They are 10/10, fantastic! I would highly recommend anyone who is a fan of Mexican food to go here. The cheese is melted on the inside with chicken, corn, black beans, authentic Spanish rice, lettuce, sour cream and guacamole. Definitely try out Gutierrez it is to die for!! 100% a true "hidden gem" in Covington, KY!

Gutierrez is a hidden gem in Covington. I am new to the Seminary Square neighborhood and decided to give this a try based on a recommendation from a friend. The space is very small but you can probably find any Mexican product/ingredient you would need in there. Additionally, they have a counter to order fresh made Mexican eats to-go. Tacos, burritos, or quesadilla. Chicken or beef. Simple yet delicious. They also sell containers of their home-made salsas and corn tortilla chips. I highly recommend everything! I can't wait to try their new restaurant, Olla, right down the street.

So I went back on a Friday to try out the tamales. I didn't care for the cheese texture of the jalapeño and cheese but it had a good flavor. I really loved the mole tamale as well as the fresh salsa served with it. I actually ended up going back in to purchase a pint of the fresh salsa/sauce. This restaurant/store has many good ready to eat products as well as groceries. The staff is also super nice and helpful.

Absolutely delicious. I got the beef quesadilla and was 100% not disappointed. Everyone is very nice and the food was done fast! The store has all kinds of goodies to look at and shop while you're waiting. Can't wait to come back and try the tacos!

Delicious! Inside of a corner store, literally! This place is the bomb. The beef quesadilla was savory and seasoned to perfection. Although the price is a little expensive for 1 entree and a drink with no sides. Stop and get authentic cuisine and get some groceries while you are waiting for your fresh food. There is also street parking right next to the place.

If I could give Gutierrez 10 stars, I would! After moving back from Texas I have been searching for authentic, delicious tacos. I finally found them when I tried Gutierrez. Food comes up fast, and hot. I've tried the tacos and burritos - everything is amazing. With prices you can't beat and quality food, it has become a staple when I need a quick lunch.

You don't want to miss this place. Great food. Reasonable prices. We ordered the chicken taco meal, beef taco meal, and chicken quesadilla meal. All were $7.99 and included drink (can of soda). The tacos come on a soft corn tortilla. Both are quite tasty, but be prepared for the tortilla to collapse under the weight of the interior. I highly recommend both. The owner, without hesitation, recommended that we get the chicken quesadilla. Now, the tacos are great. I loved them. But the chicken quesadilla is the ultimate. If you have several people with you, get the tacos and quesadilla and share. But if you go it alone, get the chicken quesadilla. That's one you don't want leave without trying.

I stumbled across this place on accident. What an amazing accident though?! This chicken quesadilla was the size of a toddler and they were experimenting with this hot Cheeto elote- just dang!!!! So good. I can't wait to go back and try the tamales and other specials. Also the owner was there and he was such a sweetheart. It looks so unassuming as a little convenience store but the food was some of the best I've ever had

This place really is an amazing little gem in Covington! They have small store packed with Latin foods & spices, as well as freshly made foods! They serve Tacos, Burritos, and Quesadillas. I got a Chicken Quesadilla, and it was so yummy & flavorful! Not to mention HUGE! I barely finished half, so I have dinner for later too, haha! The folks are so kind there too. Stop in & check it out!

Best Taco's I've had in Cincinnati. Take out only. Limited menu, but very, very good.

Amazing spices by excellent people. I discovered their stall in Findlay Market on a visit to…read moreCincinnati, and quickly fell in love with their blends and unique offerings. It's so hard to choose from all of their wonderful-smelling herbs and spices, but some of my favorites include: Apple Jack blend - I put it on fish, chicken, veggies, everything; the raspberry chipotle - I don't even like spicy, but it's a real subtle heat with a burst of fruit flavor, great on chicken wings; and the OTR Butt and Booty rub for your grillin' meats. My husband really likes the bourbon sugar with some butter and toast or a muffin. Since I don't live in Ohio anymore, I am so glad Colonel De ships, because I can't live without those flavors now. My last order actually arrived destroyed and burst open by the post office. I contacted Colonel De with some photos of the ruined package for help in filing a claim with USPS, and they immediately apologized and said they'd have a new package out right away, even though the damage was in no way their fault. I am certainly a loyal fan and customer for life! I look forward to working my way through lots of their products!

I'd been wanting to stop here for a while. I have to say it was a bit difficult to shop. There are…read morea few spices that are prepackaged, but it seemed most of the spices were in large jars. I usually leave a spice shop with a large assortment, but not this time. I will admit being less than comfortable shopping here is on me. So I'll say there is a huge selection and as long as there's enough staff behind the counter to help, it could be a good experience. If you're at Findlay Market, you should definitely check it out.
