Food was great people were nice & fast bathroom was clean and no issues would definitely go again and recommend

Located right under the J train line on crescent and Fulton street brooklyn. Even though there are tons of Hispanic food in the area this is also another great place to eat. So far, I haven't come across anything I didn't like and the price are reasonable, well reasonable to me. I usually get the family dinners, and they are usually under $30 which can feed a family of 4 easily. I haven't explored a lot on their menu but I'm sure everything taste great. read more

Horrible establishment. They don't understand English which to be in a business in America how can you not know English. The girl on the phone kept telling me in English that she doesn't understand what I'm saying then proceeded to talk to me in English on why the order is taking long. I got the run arounds from this lady then to find out after the phone call she canceled my order. I will never order from this unprofessional unorganized company ever again. I get better Spanish food in Harlem anyways. read more

I'm really sorry for those of you who've had a bad experience with the service, but I must say that both the food and the service were exceptional. I ordered pernil mofongo which came with some gravy and a bistec empanizado with white rice and beans. Everything was very flavorful and quite tasty. Just like every other Spanish place, all you get is love and attention as if it was your family. The flan is very good! I think it's homemade, which if it is explains why it's sooo good. read more

I really like this place. My delivery is always quick and the food is always tasty. One time they forgot my lemonade and when I called they were genuinely apologetic and rushed one out for me. The portions are great and it's a good find in the neighborhood. read more

You're not coming here to dine in with a restaurant experience. You come in here because you were lured in by the smell of bomb ass food on your way home from the train station... at least thats how it went for me. Two weeks after their opening I finally came in and ordered basically half the dishes they had on display at the front of the restaurant. Seafood Paella, Pernil, Chicharron, a chorizo stew, rice and beans, maduros - all for us 3 indecisive girls who wanted everything. The wait staff was amused but totally patient about us asking questions about all the dishes in front of us. While we and most of the other people took out order to go, there were a few people who also dined in. I've ordered a few times for delivery and have been pretty satisfied with almost everything I've received. I have noticed that when ordering off the regular menu, it's best to call ahead as the kitchen definitely takes a LONG time to prepare the dishes. Have waited 20 minutes sitting in the restaurant before for an order of mofongo. Overall, a recommended option for the area! read more

just had the best rice and steak HIGHLY RECOMENDED !! The food is good and the customer service is great read more

I was thrilled that the delivery arrived earlier than predicted. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was not there. The paper bags the food came in was soaking wet because the salad was full of Easter, at least a half cup. The roasted chicken was dry and the skin burnt. Completely gross. The beans were average and the white rice had hard pieces, it was probably the last bit from the steam table. read more

Gustoso Restaurant - The roasted chicken was extremely dry and the skin was badly charred. - Spanish Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Amazing Dominican food and the prices are very reasonable! Probably the best beans I've ever had. We got the family combo which includes a whole roasted chicken with rice and beans and a side salad. This is good for at least 4 people and it was all under $20! read more

In the neighborhood for business, I decided to stop by Gustoso Restaurant for breakfast. Gustoso means tasty and this is so true. It's been a while since I had a big breakfast pancakes and all. The pancakes taste so good they needed little syrup. The coffee is strong and the service was excellent. I was very pleased. I love the Spanish slow jams with my breakfast. I had a nice experience and plan on returning for dinner. read more

Delivery does take super long and they have really messed up with my food a couple of times but the food is tasty.

Perfection!!! My order arrived earlier than expected and the food is delicious. This was my first time ordering so I had a bunch of special instructions that were not necessary lol the rice, beans and chicken were packed separately exactly how I wanted and I even got a call from the sweetest woman who confirmed my order. Absolutely love this place!!!! 5 stars. Fantastic service!!! read more

I love the food as well as their hospitality. I would recommend this place . Eat in or have it delivered.

Service is very very slow. Waited over 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches. The ladies in the front were standing around chitchatting. No sense of urgency! If you're looking for something quick, don't come here! The sandwiches was also very basic. Paid extra for cheese and there was no cheese in the sandwiches! read more

Honestly I don't even know where to begin, I ordered my food which it was a roasted chicken and a mofongo, the chicken was ready already because they always have ready (and they told me it was)so technically I only had to wait for the mofongo, the order took over an hour and a half, I sent someone to see if it was busy because my order was taking too long and the place was empty.... when I actually got my food hours later, the food was extremely cold, the chicken was flavorless (I'm a chef in the city so I'm not talking for gossip) and the mofongo was extremely salty; I thought the sauce that came with it was going to help but the sauce was basically salt. Worse 10$ I had ever spent, NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN. Don't delete my review because I will post it again. read more

Breakfast is off he hook. Great to see and taste that some authentic spots are still around. Love the oatmeal!

It's a new restaurant with the potential to be one of the best in that area, the Chef has a great experience. He worked at the house of the major for many years. I really recommended this place for a healthy clean meal. Plus they make the best pina coloda. read more

Placed an order for delivery at 740pm, food didn't come till 930pm. That's almost 2 hours for delivery. Quesadilla was just ok, bread was soggy. I wouldn't recommend. read more

I ordered last week, it took Two hours. Two hours and still no food. You call them they say they are on the way, trust me they are not. Finally came the food was decent they said our next order would be free since being over two hours late. Call them today it's like they "forgot" they said it would be free. No matter good wasn't amazing to the point where I'd order again and defientely not amazing to the point that I'd wait 2 hours. but then If you want to wait forever for food then by all means. I definitely won't be ordering from here again. Really is terrible when you want to support local businesses but the customer service is poor. read more

This place is the hidden gem of the area, truly. It's not a wine and dine experience but nonetheless the food is beyond tasty and exceeds expectations. Whether you choose to eat in or have it delivered, this place makes it a wonderful experience. The girls working the front are warm, patient and create an ambience that makes you want to return each time. And the food? Spot on! I've had a chance to meet the top chef, Pedro, and the man knows his stuff. Experienced like many top chefs throughout the city but perfecting his craft at Gustoso. I recommend this place to anyone if you're looking for not only flavorful Dominican food, but also a staff that is committed to making you feel like a part of the familia. read more

So I ordered by phone at 8:42pm yet it's 10:55pm and no food!!!!! I called again at 9:55pm lady said the delivery guy left 6 min prior nothing after 25 min. I called again at 10:20pm and the lady said she will give me a call right back to get in contact with the delivery guy and it's 10:57pm and nothing !!!!! Nada ! No call back! No food. Not even an apology ! What kind of service is that! I understand an hour I get it ! But two hours and over it's not like we are in a sit down restaurant ! It's freking delivery! First time ordering and it's really the worst impression. I would not recommend ! At all.By the way I don't ever do this write review but I'm beyond annoyed and I can't believe it's 11p and still nothing ! Crazy! read more

I plan parties at a public school, I always order from here. They always bring very tasty, affordable, good amount of food every time. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

We found this restaurant on seamless and decided to give it a try, and it was worth it. I do recommend ordering 90-120 minutes ahead for delivery since they do take a while. However, the food is delicious. read more

I ordered from this restaurant for the first time ever on GrubHub! This place is amazing !!! First off, the display was great. Everything was done EXACTLY as I asked, if not better. The food taste OUT IF THIS WORLD. I had ordered steak and shrimp. The shrimp was well cleaned and prepared as well as the steak. It was served with diced or I guess shredded cabbage, carrots, and celery. Everything was well seasoned and fresh. I also ordered a side of yellow plantains. Just perfect. I eat at a lot of restaurants, this place was just more than what I expected. I actually want to go and sit down with my family next time. Just great! read more

I ordered from here for the first time today, and I must say it was a great decision. They didn't have what I initially ordered, but the young woman called me right away and recommended a substitute. Let me just say it was delicious. The skirt steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and savory. It arrived with my French fire still piping hot. Definitely will order from here again. Wish I could give more stars! read more

I ordered from here last week for lunch. I ordered the chicharrones de pollo. Unfortunately, I won't be able to comment on the quality of the food. You see, I ordered it via Grubhub at 11:10 am. My lunch hour is at 1:00 and I figured that 1 hour and 50 minutes would be more than enough time since they said I would have my food in 40 minutes, but since I had read some reviews, I thought better safe than sorry. I finally called the restaurant at 1:00 pm to ask about my order. The lady said it had left over a half an hour ago. She said it as if that were a good thing. Last thing I want is cold, fried food, but I thanked her and kept waiting. At 1:35 pm, after 2 hours and 15 minutes of waiting, I called Grubhub to cancel the order since my lunch period was now over. Great lunch! read more

Great staff!! Great customer service!!! Great prices!!! And amazing food!!!!!!! I order a skirt steak with mash and a piñacolada and yum yum DELICIOUS!!! . I heard that the chef was the chef of the governor at Gracie Mansion for many years and his hands are amazing because he's dishes are really good and fresh. I will definitely come. Ack and will definitely recommend it. read more

Worst!! Ordered on Grubhub waited 2 hours, called the restaurant and they said they cancelled my order because they were out of something. Never received a notification only that my food was on it's way! The lady I spoke to claimed she called me but I had my phone in my hand the entire time and if she supposedly couldn't reach me why didn't she leave a message? Lies! She was also unapologetic and based on the reviews I see now, this is common. When I took a closer look at the ratings on Grubhub the good reviews were from the same person! Do not order here!!!!!!! read more
