Where to begin with this place...
First of all, if you don't want to read a long review, let me get to the important part: just go there!
My husband and I arrived in Treviso as the last leg of our 16 day European tour. Upon arriving we asked our B&B host for dinner recommendations and he suggested Gustolia. Then later when we stopped in an adorable little coffee shop, we asked the owners there. High on his list was also Gustolia. They were right!
Service in Europe is not what it is in the States. And that's just fine - but there was something incredibly comforting about having attentive, friendly, kind, wonderful staff taking care of you. They offered recommendations, a few kind jokes, and best of all... amazing food at very reasonable prices. We only had 3 nights in Treviso and spent two of them at Gustolia.
My strong recommendations:
The burrata and cherry tomato appetizer. Get the big one and lots of bread. Then grab a big spoon and prepare to fend off your dining partners. It is so good.
There is an antioxidant salad that is refreshing and beautiful and it was so nice to have a big healthy salad after weeks of travelling.
My husband had the 3 mini burgers and enjoyed them very much. For a continent that doesn't put as much emphasis on burgers as we do, these were well made.
Mostly - the tiramisu. If you're in Treviso you know how they feel about tiramisu. Gustolia's doesn't disappoint. read more
